This Curt trailer hitch receiver brings real utility for light-duty towing and everyday hauling. With a 2,000 lbs maximum gross trailer weight and 200 lbs maximum tongue weight, it’s built for small trailers, cargo carriers, or lightweight gear. The square-tube design gives it solid strength, and the Class I rating makes it ideal for modest tasks that still need a dependable connection point.
No welding or specialized tools are needed here. The hitch is custom fit and bolts directly into place with the included hardware and instructions. Precision, robotic welding helps every mounting point line up right where it should, so you can handle the install at home with basic tools. It’s a straightforward setup that makes weekend projects less of a hassle.
The fully welded steel construction is finished with a gloss black powder coat layered over a protective base coat for superior rust resistance. This finish keeps it looking clean while standing up to road grime, weather, and years of towing use. It’s a tough, durable design that stays reliable through seasons of driving.
The 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver opening works with Class I accessories like compatible drawbars, ball mounts, and cargo carriers. When you’re ready to tow, just add a drawbar, pin, and clip (sold separately) to complete your setup. It’s an easy way to expand what your vehicle can do without overcomplicating your gear.

I love the product itself. I use it for my bike rack all the time. However, I still have issues with my muffler rattling on it loud vibrations through chassis! when Im going around 70mph or faster. I pulled the hitch receiver as far away as possible but still doesnt solve it. Ive considered trying different muffler hangers or taking it to a muffler shop and see if there is a way to keep it from bumping.
