With a 2" x 2" receiver opening, this Curt Class III hitch is built for real-world towing and cargo needs. It’s rated for up to 4,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 400 lbs tongue weight, or up to 6,000 lbs GTW and 600 lbs TW when used with weight distribution. This fully welded hitch bolts right to the vehicle frame using the included hardware—no drilling or welding needed. The precision, robotic welds ensure everything lines up properly for a smooth fit. During installation, you’ll just lower the spare tire to get to the mounting points and put it back afterward. No problems. I have pulled trailers and used it to haul bikes. It is a heavy duty hitch.

Thank you for the email. I havent had a single problem with either of those two items. The hitch is on a minivan, so I dont do a whole lot of towing, but its so nice to have the capability without the expense of a truck. With the hitch being so easy to install, 1 person in less than 45 minutes, I will definitely be buying my trailer products from etrailer.
