Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the long U-bolt kit for the Roadmaster Comfort Ride suspension system. So Steven, why would I need these Well, maybe you swapped axles on your trailer or you're installing a Comfort Ride system and then you discover that your original hardware simply isn't long enough to properly clamp things together. So that's where this kit comes into play. These are gonna be 6 1/2 inches long.
They do fit a 2 3/8-inch diameter trailer axle. So these are gonna be a great fit, but you do need to make sure proper fit as well before you start. So it's very important. Your U-bolts are what provide that clamping force that keep that axle and the suspension component securely connected. So it's a simple part, but it does play a very, very important role.
Then of course you got your plates here. Everything of course is powder-coated steel, hardened steel with the corresponding nuts and bolts as well. Again, these are made for 2 3/8-inch round diameter axles. That's common for, like, a 3,500-pound trailer axle. So again, before you order, make sure you're verifying the diameter of your axle tube to make sure these are what you need and that you're getting the right parts the first time.
So again, folks, these are considered a long U-bolt kit by Roadmaster, again, for the Comfort Ride suspension system for 2 3/8-inch diameter axles. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
