Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this RV designer gas strut. Now, this is a gas strut, the kind of support arm that you typically see holding things up like your RV doors, truck caps, or storage compartments. So its main job is to make the opening and closing of those compartment doors smoother, easier, and a whole lot safer. This is built to last. It has a durable black finish on it.
Measuring center of socket to center of socket. As you can see, we're at a foot, and this is gonna give you about 25 pounds of lifting force, which is going to help take some of the weight off when you lift something like a cargo door, bed platform, something like that. Instead of this slamming shut, this struts gonna control the movement, so it's going to open easily and close in a more controlled way. It's pretty versatile too. You can use it on RV beds, entry doors, truck caps, really any compartment that needs a little lift assistance.
This does not include any hardware, so this will attach to your current ball studs. It's a ball socket attachment. But I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
