2019 Toyota Tacoma

Ordered this for my 2019 Toyota Tacoma. Shipping was fast and what ever you are paying George is not enough. Install was ok. Biggest issue I had was trying to get to the bumper support brackets. I had to go through the engine bay to really get to them. After that, install was pretty easy, do highly suggest looking at the install procedures through here. This is only because you can get color pictures, the black and white ones on the instructions you get is unclear. After I installed, I took the truck out to test to see if the sensors were blocked in anyway. Anti collision, lane departure and cruise worked fine. So I didn't need to relocate anything.

When I was looking for a brush guard for my 2019 Chevrolet Silverado LTZ Z71; the Westin Sportsman Grille Guard, dressed the unit perfectly. etrailer price match was spot on for a competitor. Installing the unit was smooth. I had more people ask if the brush guard was put on by General Motors.

2019 Toyota 4Runner

Grill Guard was thoroughly wrapped for shipping and arrived with not a single scratch on it. Mounting brackets fit and installed perfectly. I recommend to use a 6 point 14mm socket and a breaker bar to initially remove the factory bolts. Then use a 12 point socket to allow more maneuverability in the tight space. Just make sure to reuse the 6 point to tighten the bolts. Install was easy and took about an hour. Welds and paint are high quality. Installed this on my 2019 toyota 4runner sr5

2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac

Arrived on time and in perfect condition. Actually did the installation by myself. Got lucky on this one! As many have said, a good set of flexible wrenches and an air ratchet would be extremely helpful, as you are limited for ratcheting space with a standard ratchet. Maybe it's just my imagination, but my truck even feels more solid when driving with this installed! I will definitely be ordering from etrailer again in the near future!

Straightforward installation. Perfect for minimal protection & mounting fog lights & bars. Would recommend for anyone looking for a basic grill guard, but not for anything grueling or heavy-duty. I took the light covers off for aesthetic purposes, but this wasn't factored into the design and leaves small screw dimples that don't always like to go in all the way.

2014 Chevrolet Suburban

Purchased from this website and Installed on a 2004 suburban. Shipping Packaging was very well done as it protected the item well. The box was a bit dusty but that did not impact performance.

Upon opening the box, the grille was in excellent clean condition with no rust or oxidation.

Installation was very easy and done by one person. I removed the factory tow hooks and Installed the grille in about an hour.

I've had it on the Suburban for about a year now and it really changes the way the truck looks. It makes it look a little more modern (which is good for a 14 year old truck) without going overboard.

The one minor defect is that after a year the screws that hold the vertical bars (the two vertical ones just inside the headlights) those screws are showing a little bit of oxidation. I would place some goop on those to protect them from the weather. They're pro a my easily replaced, it's very minor.

Very satisfied, would purchase item again and would use this website again. Great product, and a trailer provided great customer service during the purchase of this product regarding shipping.

2016 Toyota 4Runner

Looks great once I got it installed. The three bottom bolts on each side came out pretty easy but putting them back on was tricky. I had to use an air ratchet to get them on. Once you put the mounting bracket on there is no room to swing a wrench or a regular ratchet.

Looks good on the front of our '17 4Runner. Thankfully, we have not
had to use the bumper guard apart from pushing aside brush on back roads,
but it appears to be very sturdy, does not rattle.

There was a deep scratch down to bare metal on the grill guard when it arrived. I lived with it and put a layer of paint on it. It’s a different shade unfortunately. Otherwise the guard is sturdy and seems to function as expected.

Brackets for Westin Grille Guard on 2019 Toyota Tacoma
Hi Kenneth; does it look like the HDX # 57-3885 or the Sportsman # 40-3885? We have the hardware for the Sportsman # 40-3885PK but not for the HDX. I can see about adding it if that is what you have. If this came off of another vehicle, not the same generation Tacoma, none of the brackets will mount up properly with the grille guard, they're vehicle specific.

Per the manufacturer's website, both of these items installed together or separately would require permanent removal of some of your TRD specific parts such as the tow hooks and skid plate and these cannot be reattached following the install.
