Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at this TerraPump battery powered fuel transfer pump for gas cans. Now this battery operated pump is going to let you transfer fuel from your gas can to your mower, your boat, ATV, or other vehicles with no funnels. This is going to allow you to virtually have no spills, you're not gonna have to worry about lifting anything. It's going to be perfect to be used in your garage, in your shop, around your yard, farms and docks just to name a few places. Now this pump is compatible with gasoline, diesel, kerosene, DEF AdBlue, non-potable water, antifreeze, windshield washer fluid and agricultural chemicals. This pump is also compatible with a variety of containers due to the telescopic intake tube.

So let me give you a brief demonstration of how that works. I'm just gonna loosen this nut up here and as you can see this is going to extend very easily and this will extend from 15 inches all the way to 20 inches. So fully extended here. This intake tube is, I have it currently all the way out at 20 inches and then you can just slide that back in to that 15 inch length. The tube also has a diameter of about 1 3/16 inches.

So again, this is going to fit gas cans, utility jugs and even small drums. Now this extra long discharge hose is going to let you fill up your gas tank from up to 10 feet away. So this hose overall is about 10 feet long. And as you can see, just for manageability I have it bundled up here so it'll stay in one place on my table here. But this has a very simple operation that just has this power switch here to allow you to turn this on.

And by the way, this is going to be powered by two D batteries. Those batteries are not included with this pump, however, I'm happy to report that we do carry those batteries here at etrailer.com. So if you do not already have two D batteries, you can take that item, item number that you see there on your screen, pop it into the search field of our website and that will take you to those batteries and you can add that to your order if you so desire. So this has a really, an easy to squeeze handle that is going to start siphoning and you can actually twist the hook here to lock the handle in place for a continuous flow of liquid without having to always squeeze that handle. And you can even adjust the flow as well as you can see that handle gradually coming back out there as I turn that hook.

So you can adjust the flow rate, which is great. By the way, the flow rate does go up to 2.4 gallons per minute. This also has a built-in holder. Let me go back to a wide do here. So you can see that a little bit better here. This does have a built in holder here on the back so you can easily slide that in and you're not gonna have to worry about the discharge nozzle here getting banged up or something when this is not in use. So that's a nice inclusion with this pump, that little holder there. This also has a U-shaped hook here, as you can see that's going to allow you to safely store this. Again, whether it's in your garage or shop. Just find a nice convenient place to hang that to. And this is compliant with the safety standard the safety standards of ANSI, UL, CSA and NSF. Now this pump size is going to be very easy to store and also very easy to transport. The overall length when this is fully collapsed when the intake tube is fully collapsed as I have it here is gonna be about 24 inches long and it is relatively lightweight, altogether weighs right at about a pound. Instructions are included to walk you through, again, the very simple operation and go into a little bit more detail of the features that we briefly talked about today.
