Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at this Fill-Rite, 12-volt, 20-gallon per minute fuel transfer pump. Now, this is a 12-volt fuel transfer pump that's designed to run straight off your 12-volt battery, like the kind that you'd have on your truck, trailer, or other equipment. This is gonna wire up easily to that standard 12-volt DC power source. And the motor is going to be thermally protected, so if it starts to overheat, it's going to shut itself down to prevent damage. That's a nice built-in safeguard for long-term reliability.
This is built tough with the cast iron housing, so, it's gonna be able to handle rough environments like farms, construction sites, or shop use without any issues. Inside, it uses rotary vein pump technology which is known for being dependable and consistent when transferring fuel. Installation is gonna be pretty flexible as well. This electrical junction box can rotate 180 degrees so you can get the position that you're looking for for the wiring that's gonna work best for you. This is gonna mount to a standard 2-inch bung opening, which is common on most fuel tanks, and this does have a 1-inch female inlet and outlet ports.
Performance wise, this is gonna pump up to 20 gallons per minute. That's a strong flow rate, and it's gonna work great for fuel tanks in the 20 to 80-gallon range. It has a 30-minute duty cycle, meaning you can run it for 30 minutes. Then you need to let it cool down for another 30 minutes before running it again. The maximum operating temperature is 16 PSI.
There's also a built-in mesh strainer that's gonna help filter out larger debris and contaminants before they enter the pump. That's gonna help protect both the pump and your equipment. It includes this nozzle boot that's going to attach directly to the pump body, as you can see here, for convenient storage when it's not in use. (lever clicking) The on and off lever's gonna be designed with the metal stopping arm. So it's gonna be very durable, built to last.
As far as compatibility, you're gonna be able to use this with diesel, gasoline, ethanol blends up to E15, biodiesel blends up to B20, and kerosene, and even mineral spirits. Let me give you some measurements before I leave you. Looking at the overall length from end-to-end, about 13 and three-quarters inches long. The overall height, about 11 and a quarter inches tall. And then the overall depth, about 10 and seven-eighths inches. So this is gonna be compact enough to mount easily, but heavy duty enough to handle serious work. Instructions are also included. We do have other Fill-Rite options. We do have nozzles, hoses. So other pumps, meters as well. So if you're looking for something a little bit different than this or for other additions, don't hesitate to take a look at the other options that we have from Fill-Rite. But if you happen to have any other questions, give us a call. We wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name's Andy. Thank you for joining me.
