Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our DeWay battery powered fuel transfer pump for gas cans. It's a thread-on cap with a 48 inch hose featuring a nice auto stop. So folks, this is going to look like this when it's installed on your traditional gas can. It does create a seal and like cap on your gas can to reduce spill risk while siphoning those flammable fuels.
Compatible with gasoline, kerosene, and diesel fuels, the cap has an integrated thread adapter that fits most cans that are out there. So as you can see, it's got a couple different options there that it can use. It's gonna be great with, like I said, gasoline, kerosene, and diesel fuels. It may not work on kerosene specific cans or jugs, so just keep that in mind. The intake tube here, about 19 inches long, has a nice narrow diameter that's gonna fit into gas can openings.
The pump itself, the handle here can slide into the unit whenever you're not using it, so it's a nice feature. The pump itself has a nice open and close button here, on, off, so if you basically close this, you're automatically gonna shut it off. It features a use of four AA batteries sold separately. We sell 'em at here at etrailer.com, DU58QR, and on those four AA batteries, you're gonna get about a hundred gallons of fuel transferred. The flow rate's a steady 2.2 gallons per minute via the long discharge hose.
Now as you can see, there's a wire going through my discharge hose here, and that is the auto stop that is featured inside the unit. So you just simply clip this on inside the tank, wherever you're transferring to. The auto stop sensor in here is gonna automatically stop the pump once that tank reaches that full line inside of that tube, much like when you fill up your car, truck, whatnot, at your local fueling station. Once again, the overall length of the transfer hose here is 48 inches, so four feet long. Very impressive.
As you can see, it's taking up most of my viewing screen here, so that should be more than enough to reach, you know, different things if you've got a pump or a can down here on the ground or maybe on the back of a truck or something, and you're transferring fuel to maybe an ATV side by side, lawnmower, whatever. So very nice option here by DeWay. This is the battery powered fuel transfer pump. I'm Steven, folks, thanks so much for watching.
