The part was in perfect shape and exactly what we wanted. It is mounted on the front of our 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee to hold a SnowSport snow plow.
The Curt front receiver fit perfectly on my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. However, the welds on the horizontal hitch bar all had to be trimmed back with a grinder for the washer nuts to fit properly! A little bit of spray paint and you can’t tell the difference!
Everything stated onsite was valid. Easy install, all the necessary parts and instructions were with the hitch receiver. Excellent Curt quality. I wanted a front recovery system for my Jeep that was more versatile than just tow hooks and this fit the bill perfectly. The receiver is so discrete that it is hardly noticible.

The front mount hitch gives me the peace of mind that I can place my trailer precisely where I want it. It also gives me the equivalent of tow hooks.
Well, here it is and it's been over a year with my front mounted hitch. I use it to carry a snow plow that is 2" hitch mounted. The quality is superb! The installation went smooth and it fit with zero problems. The instructions were to the T. This is my 3rd front mounted hitch I've used on 3 different vehicles and none has given me any problems.

The hitch is flawless! I generally coat the inside with a small amount of lube to keep rust down from leaving my plow on all winter. No bends, kinks, no problems at all! Very well made product! I now also have one on my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee!
2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7 v8 fit perfectly went together easily with new snow plow.

Easy install. Little tough getting some of the bolts torqued due to limited space. Wasn't able to put my skid plate back on. Despite a couple small issues and the fact that it was 19 degrees out I am overall very happy with the hitch. I can't wait to use it this summer.

Still holding up good haven’t used it as much as I would wish to. I am hoping to use it within the next month when I go surf fishing.
