The three Curt raw steel receiver parts I received were perfect for the custom hitch extension needed for my motorhome. I used them to correct the height of my tow bar for safe towing. There were no ready made adapters for my application and using a combination of two or more isn't really safe to do.

This is perfect for your project that requires a 1 1/4 inch receiver. I used it to fabricate a mount that will be used to hold a small winch in the bed of my pickup truck. The winch will be used for dragging things up a ramp -- motorcycles, logs, etc. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact that the reinforcement collar has welds on only two sides; it should have been welded on all four sides. 652493
