Video Transcript for Review of Optronics Emergency Vehicle Lights - Rectangle Amber and Clear - OPT55AB

Hello, neighbors. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our Amber and Clear Optronics LED Directional Warning Lights with 18 different flash patterns. Now folks, this is a permanent mount light. And I do wanna caution you, later on this video, we're gonna have some flashing light patterns and strobe patterns that I will demo. So if you're susceptible to those kind of things, make sure you turn it off, or look away, or pause the video at that time.

I'll give you a heads up later on before we do that though. Now this is a compact amber and clear or white directional light for your vehicle, and it provides a warning signal to increase both the safety of you and other viewers on the road, or other motorist. It is ideal for towing, plowing, maybe snow, removable transport of products. You know, anything trailers, warehouse, ag supplies. It meets SAEJ 5 95 for Class 1 vehicles.

You can choose up to 18 different patterns. You get mounting screws, a foam gasket, and a nice light assembly for mounting. Super durable polycarbonate lens sealed onto an aluminum housing is gonna make it super durable and weather resistant. Overall, side to side, it's four and three quarter inches wide. Four and a quarter center on those center screw holes for mounting.

One and a quarter inches tall and a half inch thick, not counting the gasket. It is a four wire system here. You got positive ground and then you got yellow for changing the sequences. And then if you wanna do a study on, or synchronization and those kind of things, you got white as well from mounting 'em in sequence, maybe alternating lights all the way down the side of the trailer or emergency vehicle or some sorts or whatnot. So all those wires and how you wire 'em up are in the instructions as far as how to do that.

As you know, LED lights are highly efficient, durable, and bright and long lasting. There's 12 diodes, six amber and six clear, or white. I call 'em white. The manufacturer calls 'em clear. But you get the point, right So now at this time, folks, is when you need to turn away if you are susceptible to flashing, strobing, that kind of stuff. I am gonna wire this up and turn it on. I will also turn off my overhead lights and show you what they look like lit up in the nighttime as well. So here we go. And as I said, I can simply change the strobe pattern by simply tapping the yellow wire to the power wire. And that's close up. I'm gonna zoom out so you can see it at a distance as well. So nice, bright, very brilliant. And I can change multiple flash patterns by simply tapping on the light wire here, or the positive wire rather. 18 different flash patterns to choose from. You got solid on. Then you can flash. You can do back and forth, kinda like a wigwag style between amber and yellow, and it'll get to that eventually. And honestly, folks, this strobe super fast. I don't even honestly think that the video is doing it justice. Unfortunately, I'm in a dark room with it, so it is messing with me just a little bit. So I'm gonna fly through these and get it shut off. Okay, there we go. We're back to a steady on. All right, I'm gonna turn my overhead lights back on. Once again, folks, again, take my word for it. This camera, even though it's a high fancy camera, it just can't keep up unfortunately with the LED strobing and those kind of things at this time. So very, very powerful, very bright.
