Video Transcript for Hands-On with the Deka Cable Ties Kit

Today we're going to review and install the Deka Cable Ties, part number DW05726-25. Here we are underneath our vehicle. We've got some loose wiring we don't want to hang down, drag, or cause a road hazard. We're going to secure it. A good way to secure it is the Deka Cable Ties. The Deka Cable Tie is 11" long, has a 50-pound tensile strength, and it's UV-resistant. Not only that, it's real easy to use.

We'll simply take the cable tie, wrap it around a secured structure, feed the pointed end through the larger end, pull tight, and just like that my wiring is secured. To add a little professional touch to it, we can even cut off the excess from the zip tie to clean up the install look. That will do it for the review and install of the Deka Cable Ties, part number DW05726-25. .

Excellent for all. Parts are great quality. Everything was shipped hassle free and quickly. The help videos are over the top. The only complaint I might have is that that marine grease sticks to everything (LOL). I really wish all internet sales services were as good.

Thank You

  • Adding a 7-Way Trailer Connector to a 2008 Toyota Sequoia
Since you have the 4-way flat installed, I would recommend you install the brake controller 7 & 4 way installation kit, part # ETBC7. This kit includes all of the extra wires, circuit breakers and connectors needed to complete the installation of a 7-Way at the rear of your Sequoia while still retaining the use of the 4-way flat. The 4-way will plug into the back of the # ETBC7 and there will be 4 wires left to hardwire to the vehicle. White grounds to the vehicle frame. Purple goes to...

  • Running Taillight Wiring Externally Outside of Frame Member on Old Trailer
The wiring harness included with the # TL16RK LED Trailer Lamp/wiring kit would work perfectly fine zip tied to the trailer frame (or you could use the clips included with the kit). I'd recommend running the wires on the inboard side of the frame members if you can, so they're well protected. I used this method to rewire my PWC trailer about 5 years ago, and it still works great. I've had absolutely no problems regarding wire exposure.

  • Tips For Securing Duplex Wiring Under a 2016 Ford Escape
Typically when running the duplex wiring in the 7-Way Install Kit # ETBC7 we would recommend using either Frame Clips # 464600 or Cable Ties # DW05726-10. The clips can be used on openings while the cable ties allow you to secure the wiring to other wiring or brake lines.

  • Routing 12 Volt Hot Lead to Battery on 2015 Honda Fit
There are a number of options for routing the hot lead to the battery when installing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118767 in your 2015 Honda Fit, but since this harness mounts outside the vehicle the best option is to run it along the exterior of the frame and up through the engine compartment. You can use Wire Loom # 7509-1 and Cable Ties # DW05726-10 for this. I have added a link to a help article on routing a hot lead to the engine which I strongly recommend checking out.
