Will Cummins Onan EC-AGS+ Work With Lithium RV Batteries

Question:
Quick question before I order. We have an Onan diesel generator but I recently upgraded our motorhome to lithium house batteries. I saw something saying the EC-AGS+ isn't compatible with lithium. Does that mean I can't use it at all?

Hey David! You can still use the Cummins Onan EC-AGS+ # CM58GR with lithium house batteries, but you won't be able to use the low-battery-voltage automatic start function. Cummins specifically states that this feature isn't compatible with lithium batteries.
You can still use the other EC-AGS+ features, including temperature-based automatic starting, manual generator start and stop through the app, and quiet-hour settings. If you're monitoring your lithium batteries separately, you can also use the app to remotely start the generator when they need charging instead of having to go out and start it manually.
What kind of motorhome and lithium battery setup do you have?
