Hi, everyone. Steve here, with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our CTEK MXS 5.0 Smart Battery Charger. Now, this is an AC to DC charger with 12 volts of current and 4.3 amps. Now, this is gonna revive dead batteries. It's gonna have a nice reconditioning mode built in, here, and that will restore those deeply discharged batteries, and also extend their lifespan.
It also automatically adapts to AGM, EFB, and the standard lead-acid batteries. Now, it does support small and normal batteries as well, so you can choose the right mode for your standard 12 volt batteries or smaller ones like motorcycles. And you can do that by simply hitting the mode button and those kind of things, on the front, here. You're gonna have some different wires included. This one here has got some ring terminals, and an inline fuse that you could put on the battery itself.
And then the custom deutsch connector, here, would plug into that as well. Or you got the option to use the two alligator clips, here, on the battery terminals themselves. Same thing, inline fuse, deutsch connector. And then, of course, you have a carrying bag to put all the different connectors in when you're not using 'em. Now, this is a set it and forget it kind of thing, so it's a fully automatic charging and maintenance.
All you gotta do is just connect it, and literally let it do its own thing. Now, it has some built-in safety features such as spark proof, reverse polarity protection, and also short circuit protection, as well. Folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our look together. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
