Easily add a 4-way trailer connector with this custom-fit harness. The T-connector plugs into existing wiring - no cutting needed. Powered converter protects vehicle circuits and ensures consistent trailer lighting for safe towing in any conditions.
The vehicle's wiring harness is often behind a trim panel or under the cargo floor. Some vehicles may require removing interior panels or lifting carpeted sections to reach it, but once accessed, the harness installs easily with quick-splice connectors.
Plugging in a trailer shouldn't mean tearing into your vehicle's wiring. This custom-fit T-connector snaps directly into your factory wiring harness, so you can get your trailer lights up and running without any cutting or splicing. Just plug it in, and you're ready to tow.
A well-lit trailer is a safe trailer. This 4-way wiring harness keeps your trailer's brake lights, turn signals, and running lights powered and in sync with your vehicle. Whether you're hauling a boat to the lake or a camper to the mountains, your lights stay bright and visible.
Some vehicles can't handle the extra electrical load of trailer lights. The built-in powered converter draws power directly from your battery, ensuring a steady, protected current to your trailer while keeping your vehicle's circuits from overloading.
Towing means exposing your wiring to dirt, rain, and road grime. This harness features fully insulated wires and a sealed converter, helping to prevent shorts and corrosion. It's built to withstand the elements so you can tow with confidence in any weather.
No extra trips to the hardware store - this kit comes with everything you need. With fuses, zip ties, and connectors included, you can complete the installation without hunting down extra parts.

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this CURT T-connector vehicle wiring harness with four-pole flat trailer connector. Now, this has been designed specifically to fit your 2016 to current Mercedes-Benz GLC, either the Coupe or the SUV. And on custom-fit parts such as this harness, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer. Just pop in the year, make, and model of your vehicle, answer any other questions that it might have for you, then our fit guide will do the work of confirming if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. So this harness is designed to make adding trailer lights to your vehicle really straightforward, even if you're not super experienced with wiring.
The biggest advantage is that this is, as I mentioned, custom-fit for your vehicle, so no cutting or complicated splicing is gonna be needed. Once it's connected, it's going to power all the basic trailer lights, like your brake lights, turn signals, and running lights, so everything's gonna stay safe and legal while you're towing. This also uses a powered converter. This is going to connect directly to your battery. And so this is going to be important because it protects your vehicle's electrical system from being overloaded, especially with newer vehicles that have more sensitive electronics.
The wiring itself is fully insulated to help prevent shorts or interference. This is built to handle the elements with weather-resistant materials and sealed connections, so you're not gonna have to worry about corrosion over time. As for installation, this comes with everything that you're gonna need. It comes with fuses, connectors, cable ties, and so you're not gonna be making extra trips to the hardware store. Typically, you'll just need to access your vehicle's wiring harness, which is usually behind a trim panel under the cargo floor.
You might have to lift some carpet or remove a panel, but once you get to it, the actual install isn't too bad. So instructions are gonna be included to guide you through the installation process and a fuse holder as well with the fuse I mentioned. So everything that you see here is included. You are gonna get this tethered cap as well to fit over the four-pole flat connector when it's not in use. Now, if you are interested in getting this installed and you don't necessarily want to do the install yourself, on this product page underneath the photo section, we do have a link that will take you to our installer locator.
Just answer the questions that it has for you. That locator will find an installer in your area that each trailer has partnered with to do the install for you. One other thing I wanted to mention is, it is recommended that you use a small amount of dielectric grease on all of your electrical connections, like the plugs on your vehicle and the four-pole flat connector itself. The grease is designed to prevent electrical failures caused by corrosion and moisture. So if you'd like to pick some of that up as well, on your screen, I do have our part number for that. You can take that part number and pop it in the search field of our website. That will take you through the grease and you can add that to your order. If you happen to have any other questions, let us know. We wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name's Andy. Thank you for joining me.
