Hello neighbors and friends, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the SeaSucker Universal Off-Road vacuum mount in Black. Now folks, this again is an off-road portable mount to let you carry either a flag, maybe a shovel, pickax, something like that. You simply loosen the nut here, get enough of that off to pull that up, and then this pivots down enough to put something in there. You've even got a slit here in the side to put like a strap through or something like that, maybe to give you a nut, a little extra tie down maybe something like that. Comes with a nice four and a half inch hard plastic cover for the vacuum surface here.
That's gonna keep everything nice and clean. It simply mounts to non-porous, flat surfaces such as metal, glass, fiberglass, something like that and basically, it's very simple to install. You just simply pump this till the orange indicator is gone, showing you that all the air's been vacuumed out like so and once you've got it on there, it's super strong. 120 pounds of pull force. You can't beat it off, you can't pull it off physically.
To get it off, there's a rubber tab here, one around the back. You simply push in, pull up a little bit, and that helps release it. Now, I found that whenever I'm pulling up on this, if I push down on the plunger and pull that, it's also helping the air get in because that's pushing it to then push the air right here on this suction. So just a little tip there. Now, as far as some dimensions, overall on the height, I was getting right at about six inches overall and then as far as a width on the product itself, I was getting about five and a half if I count the suction and everything up here and whatnot.
So again, just kind of depends on how you're measuring it, that kind of thing. So again, if this was tighter, I could technically get that dimension shorter, if that makes sense, so those dimensions are to be used just as, as a reference. So once again, folks, 120 pounds of pull force per cup. I recommend you using two of 'em if you're carrying like a shovel or an ax or something like that, just so you have something to support both sides. Limited lifetime warranty made here in America and one other thing to mention before we go, I recommend getting some lubrication gel that's sold separately.
That's gonna go inside the plunger here and keep the seals nice and lubricated, keep it from sticking to stuff over time, from dirt, debris, that kind of stuff. Well folks, again, I'm Steven. Thanks so much for watching with me. I hope this information's been helpful. Stay safe out there and have a great day.
