Seasucker Fishing Rod Holder

This 6" vacuum cup lets you mount a variety of objects to most horizontal or vertical, non-porous surfaces without drilling any holes. It uses a pump-action vacuum to create 210 pounds of pull strength without damaging the surface it's attached to. All metal parts are constructed with durable, high-grade stainless steel.

Seasucker Vacuum Cup Pre-Drilled Holes

Seasucker Vacuum Cup

This vacuum cup holder is quick and easy to mount. To install the vacuum cup make sure the mounting surface is clean and place the cup on your vehicle or wall then press the pump several times until the orange band disappears. To break the seal and remove the holder simply pull the T-shaped tab up and towards the center of the cup. As suction decreases over time the plunger will extend from the cup. When the orange indicator band shows simply re-pump the plunger.

Video Transcript for SeaSucker Marine Boat Accessories - Accessory Mount - 302-1102 Review

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Sea Sucker vacuum mount. This mount is great for attaching something to a rigid nonporous surface without drilling any holes. It's going to feature two slotted holes in the top that provides flexibility for attaching whatever it is that you want. This is going to allow you to bolt on whatever it is that you're wanting to mount. This piece, right here, removes, so that way you can insert your hardware as needed, and a little bit easier. Hardware to get whatever it is that you want to install onto this mount is not included, so that will need to be provided separately. It's also going to feature a 1/4" by 20 stainless insert for even more versatility.

The unit's going to feature high grade stainless steel components that do a great job at lasting a long time and resisting rust and corrosion. The unit does feature the 6" vacuum seal that has a pull rating of 210 lbs. it's also going to come with this protective cap for when the mount isn't being used, that way you can protect that seal. The product itself is black in color and made in the USA. The unit also comes with waterproof lubricant to keep the Sea Sucker components working as they should. The slotted holes, here on top, are going to measure 9/16" long by 1/4" wide.

They're separated on center by 1 5/16". It's a really nice design. When it's fully mounted, it's going to give us a height measurement of about 1 3/4" tall and a diameter of around 6", when installed. It's very easy to install. You want to make sure that the vacuum mount is clean and that the mounting surface is clean. Place it on the mounting surface, and start pumping this right here.

This is just like a plunger. What that does is that sucks the air out from underneath the mount creating a nice tight seal. You want to push this in until that orange portion is hidden inside the housing. That's going to let you know that the unit is installed, and seated correctly, and ready for use. When you're ready to release it, it's got these tabs right here, one one each side, you just push in on that.

That's going to break the vacuum seal and allow the unit to easily be removed from the installed location. That's going to do it for today's look at the Sea Sucker vacuum mount.

I have used this vacuum mount for about a year and it has performed flawlessly. I actually modified it a bit to hold my television on the side of our 5th wheel. I didn't want to drill holes in the side of our new RV to hang the tv, so I used this mount. It works great. the pictures below illustrate my mods.

Made in USA, extra fast shipping from etrailer. Made a removable rack for a truck cap, worked as advertised. Impressive holding strength, but I did back up with a strap through the caps windoors for redundancy.

These things are really strong and they stick well. Just as a test I put on on the side of my camper and left it for a couple of days and it was still solid.
