Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our BioLite Outdoor Solar String lights with a nice 44 foot cable in multicolor. So folks, as you can see, I've got them kind of loosely set up here on the table. They do change from red, yellow, blue, nice purple, green, orange, and then back to off. And it does come with this nice compact seven inch diameter wide and two inch tall case.
So what's cool about this is you simply can rotate the case. It's spring loaded, it's gonna pop up, and these do have a plug on the end of 'em. So they're only gonna power up whenever they're plugged in. When you're not using 'em, and you wind it up, this plug goes over here into an empty port, and I'll show you that in a second when we wind it up. But, very simply, you simply unwind everything like I've already done here today.
You plug in the plug here, matching up on the port, so right there on the side and you gotta make sure you get it facing the right way as I'm learning. There we go. And once I've got that in there, I can actually spring close this and spin it to then lock it and place closed, but yet keep that cord safe outta the way. So I wanna go ahead and shut off the overhead lights and show you this lit up. So you got red, again, yellow, blue, which looks purple on my screen.
That's a true purple, green, lime green, orange. And then the last one's kind of like a fade. So I'm gonna zoom out, we're gonna try that again. So you kind of see 'em far away. And again, these are hangable, so they have hooks on 'em and everything.
You can hang them up. I'm gonna hold 'em up here while I kind of cycle through so they can blow in the wind or whatnot. And they're very durable. There's your lime green again, and this one here again, it's gonna slowly fade through different colors and multi change on the colors. So again, nice heavy duty cord, 44 foot long, very impressive length. And again, they have their own storage container. So super easy to pack up, super easy to, you know, put away and not have to focus on tangled cords and those kind of things. So let's go ahead and shut this off. Turn the lamps back on overhead and let's kind of show you real quick how this will fold up or you know, store back up. So again, we're done with it for the day. Let simply rotate it. I can unplug this right here first, and then it has a closing tab here. Bear with me while I close it and that covers it. And then right here you have an empty port. It's just a hole that lets this go right inside and then I can simply wind this up. So bear with me while I wind this up, but I wanna show you this kind of in real time if I can, to show you just how easy it is, how it all fits in here, nice and snug together and all that. So this is made of a heavy, durable plastic. The USB or plug is included as far as charging it. And again, you can do that with an outlet and a charger here, or you can do it with the solar panel that's included. Personally, I think you should do the solar panel. Obviously we all wanna save energy and stuff, right So I'll go ahead, got it all inside there now. And as you can see, it's very compact. If I wanna charge it, I can pull that tab out and I've got the cord here to do micro charging or regular USB. And then I've got a nice charging, or carrying handle rather, here. I can take this, I can pull it off. So now I'm getting optimal sunlight here on my solar panel. Well folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our look together. I'm Steven. Thanks so much for your time. Thanks for watching. Have a good one.
While we are between camping trips our only experience with the light system is in our house. Setup is ez and we can hardly wait for our next camp outing.
Amazing little set of lights. Love that it packs down and you can use either solar or usb for power. Can't wait to use camping and in the backyard!
I thought I'd be fine with using my household string lights plugged into a power station overnight. I woke up with a dead power station battery, no lights, and disappointment. So when I saw these Biolite string lights that were specifically designed for camping and adventure, I was hyped. And they really are perfect for my string lights needs. They last much longer with less of a power draw than my household lights. Biolite string lights with their waterproofness and leds are MUCH more resilient than the classic aesthetic battery operated fairylights. PLUS being able to roll them up into its own case versus dealing with a tangled mess is pretty nice too!
