Features to know about

Frame-Mounted Strength for Safer Travels

ApexAnchors - frame mounted, flush with bed and below bed view

Camper shift during travel can damage your rig and ruin your ride. These anchors bolt directly to your truck's frame - the most secure mounting point - so your camper stays locked in place, even during sudden stops and crosswinds. If you've ever gripped the wheel tight, wondering if your load will hold, this is how you drive without that worry.

And because these tie-downs mount to the frame, they distribute force lower than external mounts and across the full length of your truck. This reduces sway, minimizes twisting between your camper and truck bed, and improves how your truck handles with the load. Unlike bed-mounted systems that can feel top-heavy when you're driving through the mountains of Colorado or the windy plains of Kansas, these anchors help your setup stay balanced and stable.

Versatile Tie-Down Angles When You Need Them

Three steps to deploy the ApexAnchors tie-down point

These anchor points aren't just for slide-in campers. You have a truck, so you're going to want to haul things like motorcycles or ATVs, firewood, hunting equipment, or home improvement supplies in the bed too. These give you a reliable anchor point to secure those things, and because they're frame-mounted, they're going to let you get the maximum capability out of your rig. When you're ready to haul, just pull the anchor up, twist, and remove the anchor cap to reveal a full 360° swivel point. This makes it easy to attach tie-downs or ratchet straps from any angle, which is perfect for odd-shaped cargo, ATVs, or gear that doesn't sit square. And if the anchor gets pushed down without the cap, you won't have to worry about fishing it back out. It comes back up easily - the cap just helps to keep debris out and gives your truck that clean look you love.

Retracts for a Clean, Factory Look

ApexAnchors payload anchor cap flush with truck bed

When you're not using them, the anchor points retract flush into the bed, keeping your bed clean, functional, and free of bulky tie-down hardware. You can maintain a sleek factory look for your daily driving without giving up secure anchor points when it's time to haul.

Engineered to Fit Your Truck and Your Changing Payloads

Each set is custom designed for your specific truck model and meant to replace your factory-installed, light-duty cargo anchors. This means you get a smooth, bolt-on installation with no drilling into your truck's frame. You will need to cut through your truck bed for the tie-down receiver assembly, but a drill template is included to make positioning easy and accurate.

Works with Internal Tie-Down Campers

ApexAnchors payload anchor point deployed with turnbuckle

These truck bed camper tie-downs are ideal for slide-in campers that use internal anchor points: Cirrus, Four Wheel Campers, Travel Lite, Scout and other models. Use them with Apex Turnbuckles (TL88SV) and front Apex tie-downs (TL38SV), both sold separately, for a complete tie-down system.

Built for the Long Haul

These tie-downs are made from corrosion-resistant materials so you can expect them to hold up against different year-round weather conditions, road salt, and rough terrain without flaking, peeling, or premature rusting. ApexAnchors are made in the USA and backed by TorkLift's lifetime warranty so you can have confidence in your setup mile after mile.

Video Transcript for Review of TorkLift Truck Camper Tie Downs - Rear Tie-Downs - TL26SV

Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our TorkLift Apex Anchors. Now these are a truck camper tie down. They're made for in the bed, and they are frame mounted. And these are for the rear of the vehicle.

So folks, these do fit the 2016 through 2023 Toyota Tacoma without running boards that run the full length of the vehicle. So if you have a cab length board, that will work. Otherwise no running boards that run the full length. And double check that with our fit guide here at etrailer.com as well. Now with these, you're gonna have absolutely zero loss of any ground clearance, so this is gonna be a great option if you're gonna want offroading or just need to keep that ground clearance.

They completely retract when not in use. When it is time to use them, you just simply twist a little bit, pull up, and then you can pop out this rubber plug and then use your anchor as normal. And then when it's time to put it away, you simply twist it back, push it down, and you are on your way. So very simple, nice design. They do pair with front tie downs and turn buckles, sold separately, to complete that install.

These are gonna be great for campers that have internal anchor points like Sirius four wheel campers, Travel Lite, and Scout. And this is all made here in the US, so you're buying American made products, that's a great thing as well always. Everything's powder coated black color as you can see, so you don't worry about rust, corrosion, or anything like that anytime soon. Now once again, these bolt directly onto the frame, so that's the strongest part of your vehicle. And they're custom fit for those trucks.

They are rated for 2000 pounds capacity per anchor point. So if you get the complete set, the fronts and the rears, you'll have a total of 4,000 pound capacity overall. So you could also use these if you're tying down motorcycles, ATVs, or other top heavy loads in the bed of your truck as well. Well, folks, I think that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look together. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.

The anchor itself is awesome. Very easy to install with excellent instructions. The only thing I have is the placement of the anchor. It’s 14 1/2 inches back from the front of my box . I would like it to be 11 inches farther forward. My anchor strap on my 620 cirrus camper is 9 1/2 inches back from the front of my box . I will still have to use the anchor in the truck bed to keep the camper sliding back.
