Quiet mornings and calm water are what boating is about, not worrying if your anchor will hold. This anchor takes the stress out of staying put, so you can enjoy the water instead of fighting with your gear when its time to move on.
No one wants to waste time wrestling with a stubborn anchor when it's time to move. With this anchor's design, you can trust it to stay put when you need it to and hold firm until you're ready to move. Pivoting flukes dig into mud, sand, or gravel when you drop anchor. And when you're ready to head out, the slip ring makes retrieval easy, breaking the anchor free if it gets snagged so you can pull up and get back underway without the struggle.
At 6.5 pounds, its easy to handle even if you're new to boating, or just trying to keep things simple. And while it does have moving parts, everything is connected so there's nothing to assemble and nothing to lose. It also stores flat. That might not sound like much - until you're on a kayak with nowhere to put your feet, or digging through gear just to find space for lunch. The flat profile gives you room to breathe.

Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Attwood Marine Slip Ring Penetrating Anchor. It's a number 10 size galvanized steel construction. So folks, this will stow flat when you're not using it. It's gonna free up lots of space.
It can easily fit inside of a kayak, John boat or even a pontoon so that your deck stays nice and clear and then it does set fast and strong whenever it's time to operate. Once you throw in the water, obviously this can pivot either way and dig in and hold strong for you, easy to retrieve and when it's stuck, because with the slip ring, you could pull back that away and get it right out without having to worry or struggle with it. Again, lightweight, easy to handle, easy to carry, drop it, retrieve on your own. And this can last great in fresh water because it's galvanized. So that's gonna resist rust, corrosion, wear and tear through multiple seasons on the lake or river.
Height wise, I got 17 and 1/4 inches tall and on a width, this rod here overall is 14 and 1/4 inches at its absolute widest point. It's lightweight, about six and a half pounds, so you can easily get it on and out of the water when needed. And that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look together. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
