Swagman Original RV Bike Rack for 3 Bikes - 2" Hitches
I needed a small bike rack for my 5th wheel. I came to etrailer as my trusted source for info and availability since we live full time on the road. Plus these are hard to find in brick and mortar stores since COVID. I ordered the rack on a Sunday and received a confirmation and tracking number before I went to bed!! The package even arrived a day early. The rack is more sturdy than I had expected and look forward to safe transport of my bike. I also like I now have the ability to mount and use it on the rear of my pickup if needed. This is a 5 star rack but gets only 4 stars due to my one issue. The only issue was a small amount of what looks like welding slag in the threaded attachment hole to the trailer. (see picture) Having no other option, I just forced/re-threaded the bolt during installation. Since I hope to not need to remove the rack, I am just hoping for the best in the future.
Product is better and sturdier than I expected. I was shocked at how fast it shipped. It was extremely well packaged. I have not seen this type of care in shipping for a long time. I am very happy with the product especially at the price. It had several features I was looking for: 1. It is rigid to the hitch with no flopping. 2. The bikes can be securely locked to the carrier. 3. The unit can easily be locked to the hitch (with the additional locking bolt that I would recommend purchasing. 4. When not in use it can easily be stored FLAT in the storage area of my RV without taking up a lot of room. I would highly recommend etrailer and this bike carrier. I will be doing additional business with etrailer in the future!

Swagman Traveler XC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches or RV Bumpers - Frame Mount
Works great! Our bikes have low cross bars so it took a bit to figure out the "sweet spot" for the holding arms. Finally get the bikes out of the camper when traveling; yipee!
Work great on the back of my 5th wheel to carry two bicycles

Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
We love our Hollywood RV Rider Bike Rack. We have loaded it on our 87 Jeep Wrangler, our ‘06 Lexus, and our ‘83 Pilot. It is a perfect fit on all three! We needed the extra length to clear our rear mount tire on our Jeep. It worked! We have taken our 4”fat tire e-bikes on many roads from northern Idaho to southern Arizona. The bikes travel well and sturdy on this heavy weight rack. We feel very confident that they stay in place. We are able to load our bikes in a few minutes and hit the road in no time. It is very easy to load. We recommend using the bar grip extenders (which came in the package) to compact the storage area. This rack comes with a tip mechanism to allow you to tip the bikes down to access the rear trunk or hatchback.
I have had several name brand bike racks and the Hollywood Racks RV Rider is by far the best. The rack is very sturdy and lite weight. It was easy to assemble with very good instructions. The rack fits our fat tire e-bikes and my SUV perfectly. The rack is very easy to adjust and while it sits high as to not drag the bikes when exiting parking lots, loading our 60lb e-bikes is no problem at all with the appropriate nethod, one wheel at a time. It is also possible to lean the rack to access the rear hatch on my SUV. The main reason for purchasing the rack is it is certified to mount behind a motorhome or on an SUV while being flat towed. There is literally no movement or sway of the rack behind the SUV. Very happy with this rack.

Swagman Trailhead RV Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches
Unfortunately, I cannot make a great review for this bike rack. Two issues. The first, even though it is ‘designed’ for four bicycles, getting three on there is more realistic. The second issue is that it hasn’t held up very well. One of the support bars that the bikes rest on actually bent. The bike rack is supposed to be able to carry four bicycles and we only used it for two adult and a child’s bike. I am considering replacing it with a supporting design instead of this hanging design.
Swagman Trailhead 4 Bike rack on 2015 Nissan Xterra. Solidly built, easy to install and carry two mountain bikes. Stable at 75 mph and over bumps. An excellent value.

Thule Range RV Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches
This is the best bike rack for a 5th wheel that I have ever seen or used. I have had it for a year now and used it multiple times. We travel for work and my wife follows me in the car, so she can see the bikes on the rack and what they are doing. She says they hardly move at all. It holds them very solid even when going over rough roads, where we see the bikes on the back of other RV's bouncing all over the place.
I combined this with the Mount-n-lock bumper hitch receiver as well as the safety struts bumper reinforcements. We have gone on one of the bumpiest roads and while this thing takes a beating, it does the job. It does a fair amount of bouncing as I see it in the camper rear camera, but I think that’s part of the engineering to let a little absorption of the bounce happen. Overall, great product and I highly recommend. (By the way, don’t forget to do your calculations for the weight of your bikes as they go further away from the inner most part of the bike rack, they weight heavier).

Stromberg Carlson 2 Bike Carrier for RVs - Ladder Mount - Aluminum
Yes I did receive the racks and they look great, my husband put them on and his comments were he wished the screws were longer, and the latch down loops were tough to get hooked over the bikes. Also we thought it would be nice if it came with some pads to keep the bikes from banging together or against our spare. Overall we lke the product, and the construction it seems sturdy and we like that it swings out of the way for ladder access. Your service was very prompt, which is always appreciated.
The process was so easy., from the search to the delivery. The products are of high-quality, and should last a long time with normal care. This is my third order with etrailer and I live there products. Everything is as advertised .If you need camping equipment then I recommend to buy from them.

The bicycle rack mounted easily by myself without help from another person. It is very strong and holds our two bicycles just as I had hoped. I slipped a pool noodle over the upright support bar to prevent scratching the inside bicycle. The only thing I can suggest is that the product would have been better if it included the cover for the upright support pole and some strapping material to keep the bicycles solidly in place while traveling. The strapping material is not a big priority for me though because I have lots of it.
This was a great compromise in cost, ease of install and use. Easily attached to the bumper (and saved cost as I didn't need to install a hitch on the RV). Bikes went in well, but needed to use pool noodles to insulate the bikes from each other and from the central pole. (Will switch to more sturdy pipe insulation next time). Add some bungies and velcro straps (to hold the wheels) and you're all set. Held our 2 mountain bikes flawlessly over our 8,000 mile road trip last summer.

Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers - 2"-100 lbs
Unconventional Use. This was purchased not to hold bikes but as a frame to hold flag poles which were affixed to it with off the shelf hardware. The actual receiver tube will be used for a custom camp site sign identifying our family. Overall the frame exceeded our expectations for quality and functionality. I cannot comment on its originally designed use, but for what we use it for it was the perfect choice.
I ordered one of these a year ago and it arrived with critical welds missing. I contacted the manufacturer directly and they sent me a brand new unit. Mounting was easy (with the right tools). I did swap out the crummy fasteners that they supply for attaching to the trailer tongue with grade 8 yellow zinc plated fasteners from [online]. It is holding up great and makes bike carrying super easy. I like that I can see them in the rear view mirror and see if anything is coming loose. I used a cheap bike rack on this and flipped the arms of the rack around rearward to keep the bikes close to the front of the travel trailer. This also allows me to fully open the hatch of my tow vehicle when the bikes are mounted. So overall this is a nice addition that avoids trying to mount anything to the flimsy rear bumper of the travel trailer, although it does add some tongue weight. I am super happy with it so far and it looks nice a year later despite having sat outside 100% of the time.

Yakima LongHaul RV Bike Rack - 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Silver
Not RV rated. Mine bent on the main tube going up and the arms going out holding the bikes. I contacted etrailer and Yakima without any warranty support. Both stating I loaded the bikes incorrectly. etrailer's website does not provide any instructions for how it should be loaded. Rating is for 37.5lbs per bike and you can not go over that limit even 0.5lbs. Good thing I didn't have 4 full size bikes on there. I purchased Yakima specifically because of the name brand but I guess it is what it is.
This was a huge fail for me. I attached a few pictures to show my issues. To start with, my wife has a small frame bike. The frame of the bike will not fit on this rack. Even if I bought the bar that goes across making a flat top bar to attach to, the two frame rails that the bikes sit on will not fit in between the frame or the seat and the front frame. (Hard to explain, see picture of light colored bike) 2nd was my bike. I have a medium frame bike that did fit on the rack, but the handle bars and pedals are wider then all 4 bike positions available. There is absolutely no way that I could ever get 4 bikes on the rack. I don’t see 4 kids bikes fitting on this. I guess this is the issue with hanging style back racks. Now I have to pay almost $[XX] to ship it back to etrailer. So I basically payed $[XX] to have this rack out of the box for all of 30 minutes. I’m happy they are taking a return but having to pay to return this item is going to keep me from buying from etrailer again. This is why Am**on is doing so well. You can return things for free.

Lets Go Aero NEO2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount
This purchase was to have a rack we can use when we need to bring single bikes in addition to or instead of our tandem. We have used it about a dozen times and it has been a great solution. Easy to store and set up and the wheel mount eliminates any issues with having a horizontal frame member to hang from. We've heavily loaded it several times including wedging our bike trailer between the bikes.
Great customer service, answered all my questions! I’m very happy with my bike rack!

Lippert Components Flip Down Slotted Bike Rack Tailgate Storage System
I like this rack because it’s a good size and is built sturdy I had to extend my bumper out 6 inch’s in order to install the mounting brackets because my bumper was so close to my trailer but it was worth it to get the extra storage.
Oversize your holes for pins to allow for powder coat build up. Possible an additional fold up Stantion for the back side (camper side) to protect camper. Good quality, great paint. Tighter tolerance on the stantions would make the user feel a little more secure but works well.

Swagman Around the Spare Deluxe 2 Bike Rack for RV Bumpers
Terrible product as it sits too low on the bumper. I mangled a bike wheel backing up to a slight swale. The bike wheel was only six inches off the ground, the swale was seven. My bad for backing up without a spotter but the bike rack is not adjustable & therefore worthless to me.
I am very satisfied with the bike rack. Instillation was simple. The package had been previously opened and was missing 2 nuts but I had them in the garage. The product stated it would not fit on a bike with less than 18” between the seat and handle bar post but I drilled 2 holes in the top cross bar and set them on an angle as allowed in the instructions and they fit my mountain bikes with a cradle of 14”. I added a web strap from the tire support post, over the tire and around the bike cross bars to eliminate any swaying which did not appear to be a problem even before the strap. My 2 mountain bikes weigh 35.5lbs each and appeared very secure for a 700 mile trip.

Swagman RV 4-Bike RV Bumper Mount Rack
Junk absolute junk never used it through it in the trash very disappointed.
For the few times we take bikes with us, it has worked out well. I use pool noodles over the bike frames and rack bars to keep from scratching the paint off the bikes. I spaced them for adult bikes, so the kids bikes don't sit down tight. I've just used the 1" tie ratchet straps and rubber straps to hold everything down. It can be challenging to get 4 bikes secure, but I haven't lost one yet. There really aren't any good spots to hook into, so I may modify accordingly. I would probably by them again.

Swagman Nomad Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Great product! Easy to install. Easy to adjust to bikes. Solid construction. Nothing moves or loosens up in travel. Installed on a travel trailer. By far the best we’ve seen in any campground. Price is fair! Nice to have the bikes with us, secured on a carrier and not bouncing in the back of the truck. Highly recommend this bike carrier!!
Great rack, I like the extended, elevated shank, it allows the bikes to easily clear the back of the travel and makes it easy to work around the spare tire. Well thought out design.
Hollywood Racks Destination 4 Bike Platform Rack Review - 2022 Toyota RAV4
Hey it's Ethan here at eTrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination 4 bike platform rack. And how it fits in the back of our 2022 Toyota Rav4. Gonna be a good option for you if you do need the ability to get four bikes to the trail. It's capable of supporting up to 35 pounds per bike, held primarily by the center mast here. These clamps do rotate and they are padded so they will support the frame a little bit, but we still don't recommend using carbon frame bikes, in the event that you are traveling with them, they have the potential to be damaged while the bike is moving.
Yakima FullTilt Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Toyota RAV4
Hi, everybody. Cooper here at etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Yakima FullTilt on our 2021 Toyota RAV4. Now, the FullTilt is going to be a hanging-style bike rack. We are going to be able to accommodate up to five bikes with an individual weight capacity of 40 pounds. And at first glance, it might be able to seem that you can situate your bike facing either direction, but there are actually three points of contact here.
Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Toyota RAV4
Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp 2-bike platform rack for your electric bikes here on our 2021 Toyota RAV4. So guys, we all know those heavy e-bikes are definitely coming and they just keep getting heavier. What's great about this guy, we are gonna have 66 pounds of weight capacity. That's about six pounds heavier than most of the standards are for your heaviest bike racks out there. So I love to see Yakima expanding that weight capacity to go ahead and start accounting for our electric bikes.
Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Toyota RAV4 hr4000
Hey everybody. Welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby. And today we're taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Destination 4 bike carrier on our 2021 Toyota RAV4. Now this would be a great way of getting a multitude of bikes on the road with us, in a nice efficient way to boot. Now, keep in mind though, if you are looking for a way to transporting your carbon frames, unfortunately this won't be a great option.
Saris MHS 2 Bike Rack Review - 2020 Toyota RAV4
Hi, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we'll be taking a look at the Saris MHS. This is a modular bike rack for two bikes right here on our 2020 Toyota RAV4. The Saris MHS is a unique system in and of itself, you're able to switch things around and move the trays quickly, even add on another extra tray in about 30 seconds. So if you're looking for a 2-bike platform rack, this might be above and beyond what you need, but if you're interested in the MHS system, we'll talk about those features, we'll talk about those specs, but we're gonna focus on our Toyota RAV4 today. That way, you can see how it works with your vehicle and what is the best fit for you, your different types of bikes and cargo, and your car. The first feature we'll take a look at is the tilt away feature.
Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Toyota RAV4
Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Yakima OnRamp on our 2020 Toyota RAV4. The OnRamp is a platform style bike rack. It's gonna hold the bikes in these trays and primarily by our frame up top. We have this cradle with a strap run around the frame to hold it in place as well as two wheel straps in the bottom that pull the bike down and in. The result is actually a really strong hold.
RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Toyota RAV4
Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the RockyMounts GuideRail on our 2020 Toyota RAV4. The GuideRail is going to be a platform style bike rack. It holds a bike in these trays and by the tires. We've got these dual wheel mounts, one on either side and that's gonna mean it has zero frame contact on the bike that makes it good for carbon frame and alternative frame bikes.
Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 2 Electric Bike Platform Rack Review - 2020 Toyota RAV4
How's it going, everyone It's Ethan from etrailer here today. I'm taking a look at the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE. The Sport Rider SE is a two-bike platform bike rack, capable of supporting bikes up to 80 pounds each, held primarily by these frame hooks, and a couple of straps on either wheel. The frame hooks do hold the bike, like I mentioned, primarily by the frame itself. So if that's something that's important to you or if you have a carbon frame bike, you're probably gonna wanna avoid this type of rack, just 'cause it could potentially damage the frame while you're driving. In order to tilt this bike, you do actually have to remove this pin.
Yakima RidgeBack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Toyota RAV4
Hi everyone. It's Eve Angeline here at etrailer. And today we're looking at the Yakima Ridgeback bike rack here on our 2020 Toyota RAV4. So, the Yakima Ridgeback is a really cool bike rack in the way that you can have four or five bikes on it, if you want to get the five bike version, but it also works with inch and a quarter and two inch hitches. So let's take a look at the features of our bike rack. Since we do have a bunch of premium features that will make the bike ride a little bit more comfortable for your bikes.
Yakima RV and Camper Bike Racks Review - 2020 Toyota RAV4
Evangeline: Hi, it's Evangeline from etrailer.com. And today we are looking at Yakima Long Haul four bike hanging style rack here on our 2020 Toyota RAV4. So this is a great bike rack because it is designed for use on RVs and motorhomes. So if you also have one of those and you're switching your bike rack between your different vehicles, this is a great option, because it works with all the vehicles. So the way our bike is mounted to our bike rack here is by one, two, three mounting points. So we have two at the top, and this one down here, which is our anti-sway cradle. So you can see as I shake it, how much it really reduces the sway.
Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2018 Toyota RAV4
Adam: Hi, everyone. Adam, with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro on our 2018 Toyota RAV4.This is going to be able to hold up to four bikes with three different tie-down points per bike. You're going to have two here up top and one anti-sway cradle at the bottom. And what that does, it limits that bike to bike contact that you get when you're going down the road. It's really easy to get this bike off the rack. So we'll start up top with these soft, durable, rubber straps.
Saris MHS 2 Bike Rack Review - 2017 Toyota RAV4
Hey everyone, I'm Charles with etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at the Saris MHS modular bike rack for two bikes for two inch hitches on the 2017 Toyota RAV4. So, this is a platform style rack made out of a steel and aluminum construction with a black powder coat finish, making it rust resistant and very durable. So, one of the cool things about this rack system is that it does have a tilt away function. It's right here on the handle. Something to keep in mind as this does carry heavy bikes, that you are gonna have the weight of those two bikes when you are tilting away and lifting back up. So, something I like to do is just keep one hand here or on the closest bike, take a step back, so that I don't get knocked out before my ride.
Swagman Escapee RV 2 Electric Bike Rack Review 2017 Toyota RAV4
Hi, everybody, Cooper here with etrailer, and today, we're going to be looking at the Swagman Escapee on our 2017 Toyota RAV4. The Escapee is going to be a platform-style bike rack, which can hold up to two bikes and does so by holding them by the tires. So it's important to know that, because for our carbon frame bikes and our alternative frame bikes, that means there's going to be no weight on the frame itself, it's actually held all within the tires. The bikes themselves are actually weighted for 60 pounds per bike each, so it will be able to hold those e-bikes as well too. So unfortunately, this bike rack is not a tilt away system, so if we want to gain access into our trunk, we're gonna have to take our bike off first, and we're gonna show you how that process goes right now. So our wheel hook's actually what holds our bike into place, so what we're gonna do first is actually come down to the wheel strap here, press our little lever right here, and it should slide right out, and we're gonna feed that back through the tire.
Yakima Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Toyota RAV4
Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today, we're taking a look at the Yakima FullTilt on our 2017 Toyota RAV4. The FullTilt is a hang-style bike rack that can hold up to five bikes. It's gonna hold them by the frame here with two zip strips up top to keep it held down along with a third on the seat post to limit our side to side movement, which will help with bike to bike contact. Now, with this, you also have a 150 pound weight capacity, now, it's total, so make sure you're not overloading the bike rack. Now, because it makes frame contact, we do wanna avoid carbon frame bikes and alternative frame bikes or kids' bikes, we probably wanna pick up a bike adapter bar for those alternative frames to make sure the bike hangs level, and for the kids' bikes, it's to make sure that they can fit over this dual arm design, because it's typically not too friendly with those smaller frames.
Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Toyota RAV4 HLY94FR
Hey everyone, I'm Charles with etrailer, And today we're gonna take a look at the Hollywood Destination bike racks for two bikes for an inch and a quarter and two-inch hitches on the 2017 Toyota RAV4. All right, so right off the bat, this is a great lightweight and portable bike rack. It's about 24 pounds, which makes it easy to take on and off the hitch. Its weight capacity is about 35 pounds per bike, so your heavier bikes like your e-bikes are not gonna work for this. Let's take a closer look at some of the features. Okay, so this rack has three attachment points: a strap on each wheel and a frame mount, so it's not gonna be the best for your carbon frame style bikes, so that it's not gonna damage the frame.
Yakima RidgeBack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Toyota RAV4
