Swagman Original RV Bike Rack for 3 Bikes - 2" Hitches
I needed a small bike rack for my 5th wheel. I came to etrailer as my trusted source for info and availability since we live full time on the road. Plus these are hard to find in brick and mortar stores since COVID. I ordered the rack on a Sunday and received a confirmation and tracking number before I went to bed!! The package even arrived a day early. The rack is more sturdy than I had expected and look forward to safe transport of my bike. I also like I now have the ability to mount and use it on the rear of my pickup if needed. This is a 5 star rack but gets only 4 stars due to my one issue. The only issue was a small amount of what looks like welding slag in the threaded attachment hole to the trailer. (see picture) Having no other option, I just forced/re-threaded the bolt during installation. Since I hope to not need to remove the rack, I am just hoping for the best in the future.
Product is better and sturdier than I expected. I was shocked at how fast it shipped. It was extremely well packaged. I have not seen this type of care in shipping for a long time. I am very happy with the product especially at the price. It had several features I was looking for: 1. It is rigid to the hitch with no flopping. 2. The bikes can be securely locked to the carrier. 3. The unit can easily be locked to the hitch (with the additional locking bolt that I would recommend purchasing. 4. When not in use it can easily be stored FLAT in the storage area of my RV without taking up a lot of room. I would highly recommend etrailer and this bike carrier. I will be doing additional business with etrailer in the future!

Swagman Traveler XC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches or RV Bumpers - Frame Mount
Works great! Our bikes have low cross bars so it took a bit to figure out the "sweet spot" for the holding arms. Finally get the bikes out of the camper when traveling; yipee!
Bike Carrier works well. Quick and easy install and bike setup. However, I had to modify hitch extension bar supplied by 2” to avoid handle bar coming in contact with camper.

Swagman XP RV Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches
So far, so good. I just received this last week and installed it on the back of my fifth wheel. We have four bikes (2 adult bikes and two kids bikes), and fitting all four of the bikes on the racks took some creativity but it was possible. The rack seems very sturdy, but we will see if it stands the test of time as we are full-time RVers who travel about 6,000 miles per year. Our last bike rack (Swagman XTC4) was completely worn out after about 14,000 miles of use on the back of our fifth wheel.
I hate this bike rack. For a heavy is at it, 40 lbs, it is junk, wobbles and moves around like crazy. If you need an overpriced boat anchor, this will fit the bill. Better to cut the rope when you leave it. Terrible tolerances. I bought the chincy locking ring they want to sell you and it did absolutely nothing. Don't put a nice bike on it because you'll be sorry. Honestly I try to avoid etrailer whenever possible at this point. Why can a hitch fit well but this is really undersized and the fit it terrible

Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers - 2"-100 lbs
Unconventional Use. This was purchased not to hold bikes but as a frame to hold flag poles which were affixed to it with off the shelf hardware. The actual receiver tube will be used for a custom camp site sign identifying our family. Overall the frame exceeded our expectations for quality and functionality. I cannot comment on its originally designed use, but for what we use it for it was the perfect choice.
I ordered one of these a year ago and it arrived with critical welds missing. I contacted the manufacturer directly and they sent me a brand new unit. Mounting was easy (with the right tools). I did swap out the crummy fasteners that they supply for attaching to the trailer tongue with grade 8 yellow zinc plated fasteners from [online]. It is holding up great and makes bike carrying super easy. I like that I can see them in the rear view mirror and see if anything is coming loose. I used a cheap bike rack on this and flipped the arms of the rack around rearward to keep the bikes close to the front of the travel trailer. This also allows me to fully open the hatch of my tow vehicle when the bikes are mounted. So overall this is a nice addition that avoids trying to mount anything to the flimsy rear bumper of the travel trailer, although it does add some tongue weight. I am super happy with it so far and it looks nice a year later despite having sat outside 100% of the time.

Yakima LongHaul RV Bike Rack - 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Silver
Not RV rated. Mine bent on the main tube going up and the arms going out holding the bikes. I contacted etrailer and Yakima without any warranty support. Both stating I loaded the bikes incorrectly. etrailer's website does not provide any instructions for how it should be loaded. Rating is for 37.5lbs per bike and you can not go over that limit even 0.5lbs. Good thing I didn't have 4 full size bikes on there. I purchased Yakima specifically because of the name brand but I guess it is what it is.
This was a huge fail for me. I attached a few pictures to show my issues. To start with, my wife has a small frame bike. The frame of the bike will not fit on this rack. Even if I bought the bar that goes across making a flat top bar to attach to, the two frame rails that the bikes sit on will not fit in between the frame or the seat and the front frame. (Hard to explain, see picture of light colored bike) 2nd was my bike. I have a medium frame bike that did fit on the rack, but the handle bars and pedals are wider then all 4 bike positions available. There is absolutely no way that I could ever get 4 bikes on the rack. I don’t see 4 kids bikes fitting on this. I guess this is the issue with hanging style back racks. Now I have to pay almost $[XX] to ship it back to etrailer. So I basically payed $[XX] to have this rack out of the box for all of 30 minutes. I’m happy they are taking a return but having to pay to return this item is going to keep me from buying from etrailer again. This is why Am**on is doing so well. You can return things for free.

Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
We love our Hollywood RV Rider Bike Rack. We have loaded it on our 87 Jeep Wrangler, our ‘06 Lexus, and our ‘83 Pilot. It is a perfect fit on all three! We needed the extra length to clear our rear mount tire on our Jeep. It worked! We have taken our 4”fat tire e-bikes on many roads from northern Idaho to southern Arizona. The bikes travel well and sturdy on this heavy weight rack. We feel very confident that they stay in place. We are able to load our bikes in a few minutes and hit the road in no time. It is very easy to load. We recommend using the bar grip extenders (which came in the package) to compact the storage area. This rack comes with a tip mechanism to allow you to tip the bikes down to access the rear trunk or hatchback.
I have had several name brand bike racks and the Hollywood Racks RV Rider is by far the best. The rack is very sturdy and lite weight. It was easy to assemble with very good instructions. The rack fits our fat tire e-bikes and my SUV perfectly. The rack is very easy to adjust and while it sits high as to not drag the bikes when exiting parking lots, loading our 60lb e-bikes is no problem at all with the appropriate nethod, one wheel at a time. It is also possible to lean the rack to access the rear hatch on my SUV. The main reason for purchasing the rack is it is certified to mount behind a motorhome or on an SUV while being flat towed. There is literally no movement or sway of the rack behind the SUV. Very happy with this rack.

Swagman Trailhead RV Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches
Unfortunately, I cannot make a great review for this bike rack. Two issues. The first, even though it is ‘designed’ for four bicycles, getting three on there is more realistic. The second issue is that it hasn’t held up very well. One of the support bars that the bikes rest on actually bent. The bike rack is supposed to be able to carry four bicycles and we only used it for two adult and a child’s bike. I am considering replacing it with a supporting design instead of this hanging design.
Swagman Trailhead 4 Bike rack on 2015 Nissan Xterra. Solidly built, easy to install and carry two mountain bikes. Stable at 75 mph and over bumps. An excellent value.

Swagman RV 4-Bike RV Bumper Mount Rack
Junk absolute junk never used it through it in the trash very disappointed.
For the few times we take bikes with us, it has worked out well. I use pool noodles over the bike frames and rack bars to keep from scratching the paint off the bikes. I spaced them for adult bikes, so the kids bikes don't sit down tight. I've just used the 1" tie ratchet straps and rubber straps to hold everything down. It can be challenging to get 4 bikes secure, but I haven't lost one yet. There really aren't any good spots to hook into, so I may modify accordingly. I would probably by them again.

Thule Range RV Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches
This is the best bike rack for a 5th wheel that I have ever seen or used. I have had it for a year now and used it multiple times. We travel for work and my wife follows me in the car, so she can see the bikes on the rack and what they are doing. She says they hardly move at all. It holds them very solid even when going over rough roads, where we see the bikes on the back of other RV's bouncing all over the place.
I combined this with the Mount-n-lock bumper hitch receiver as well as the safety struts bumper reinforcements. We have gone on one of the bumpiest roads and while this thing takes a beating, it does the job. It does a fair amount of bouncing as I see it in the camper rear camera, but I think that’s part of the engineering to let a little absorption of the bounce happen. Overall, great product and I highly recommend. (By the way, don’t forget to do your calculations for the weight of your bikes as they go further away from the inner most part of the bike rack, they weight heavier).
# 10
The bicycle rack mounted easily by myself without help from another person. It is very strong and holds our two bicycles just as I had hoped. I slipped a pool noodle over the upright support bar to prevent scratching the inside bicycle. The only thing I can suggest is that the product would have been better if it included the cover for the upright support pole and some strapping material to keep the bicycles solidly in place while traveling. The strapping material is not a big priority for me though because I have lots of it.
This was a great compromise in cost, ease of install and use. Easily attached to the bumper (and saved cost as I didn't need to install a hitch on the RV). Bikes went in well, but needed to use pool noodles to insulate the bikes from each other and from the central pole. (Will switch to more sturdy pipe insulation next time). Add some bungies and velcro straps (to hold the wheels) and you're all set. Held our 2 mountain bikes flawlessly over our 8,000 mile road trip last summer.

Stromberg Carlson 2 Bike Carrier for RVs - Ladder Mount - Aluminum
Yes I did receive the racks and they look great, my husband put them on and his comments were he wished the screws were longer, and the latch down loops were tough to get hooked over the bikes. Also we thought it would be nice if it came with some pads to keep the bikes from banging together or against our spare. Overall we lke the product, and the construction it seems sturdy and we like that it swings out of the way for ladder access. Your service was very prompt, which is always appreciated.
The process was so easy., from the search to the delivery. The products are of high-quality, and should last a long time with normal care. This is my third order with etrailer and I live there products. Everything is as advertised .If you need camping equipment then I recommend to buy from them.

Swagman Straddler Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers - 2" - 100 lbs
Definitely requires some assembly. Make sure the trailer is level when mounting it the first time. Works well with my pop-up trailer and I am able to mount the rack facing the trailer giving me extra room between my car and trailer. I was impressed by how strong and stable it is. Only downside, it interferes with my tongue jack on my trailer and I am unable to lock into the "stored" position for driving. I have use a tie-strap to secure the jack.
I returned this item due to clearance issues. Although it may work well with a pickup it did not offer enough room between vehicles for 2 adult bikes. Etrailer being the great company they are agreed to return this and although one person I spoke to wasn't helpful his supervisor was able to help. I purchased 2 Thule roof mount racks and am satisfied. This has been the only time I've experienced any problem with Etrailer and it was handled quickly and effectively.

Swagman Around the Spare Deluxe 2 Bike Rack for RV Bumpers
Terrible product as it sits too low on the bumper. I mangled a bike wheel backing up to a slight swale. The bike wheel was only six inches off the ground, the swale was seven. My bad for backing up without a spotter but the bike rack is not adjustable & therefore worthless to me.
I am very satisfied with the bike rack. Instillation was simple. The package had been previously opened and was missing 2 nuts but I had them in the garage. The product stated it would not fit on a bike with less than 18” between the seat and handle bar post but I drilled 2 holes in the top cross bar and set them on an angle as allowed in the instructions and they fit my mountain bikes with a cradle of 14”. I added a web strap from the tire support post, over the tire and around the bike cross bars to eliminate any swaying which did not appear to be a problem even before the strap. My 2 mountain bikes weigh 35.5lbs each and appeared very secure for a 700 mile trip.

Lippert Components Flip Down Slotted Bike Rack Tailgate Storage System
Oversize your holes for pins to allow for powder coat build up. Possible an additional fold up Stantion for the back side (camper side) to protect camper. Good quality, great paint. Tighter tolerance on the stantions would make the user feel a little more secure but works well.
I like this rack because it’s a good size and is built sturdy I had to extend my bumper out 6 inch’s in order to install the mounting brackets because my bumper was so close to my trailer but it was worth it to get the extra storage.

Swagman Nomad Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Great product! Easy to install. Easy to adjust to bikes. Solid construction. Nothing moves or loosens up in travel. Installed on a travel trailer. By far the best we’ve seen in any campground. Price is fair! Nice to have the bikes with us, secured on a carrier and not bouncing in the back of the truck. Highly recommend this bike carrier!!
Very strongly made zero movement at the hitch. Easy to assemble. Bit heavy to move around and install

Surco 2 Bike Carrier for Vans and RVs - Ladder Mount
This carrier works very well for those situations where a ladder-mounted bike rack is the only option. It took a couple of trials to find the best placement of the bikes on the rack. It would be ideal if the horizontal bars were a little longer so the bikes could be kept further away from the back wall of the travel trailer and separated a little more from each other. Nevertheless this rack works well and I use cut pool noodles and bungies to hold the bikes firmly in position and to guard the contact locations between the bikes, rack and trailer. The cradles can be slid anywhere on the horizontal bar for ideal placement with your specific bikes. It would be good if there was way to hold them in place so they don't move while mounting the bikes or after install. Based on the few times we have used this rack, I would recommend it in a ladder-mounted application.
The bicycle carrier has been great and its design well thought out. Due to the geometry of our bicycles it took us a while the two times to figure out how to hang them with the best balance and minimal overhang with the side of our trailer. Easy to use thereafter, very sturdy and no maintenance.

Lets Go Aero NEO2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount
This purchase was to have a rack we can use when we need to bring single bikes in addition to or instead of our tandem. We have used it about a dozen times and it has been a great solution. Easy to store and set up and the wheel mount eliminates any issues with having a horizontal frame member to hang from. We've heavily loaded it several times including wedging our bike trailer between the bikes.
Great customer service, answered all my questions! I’m very happy with my bike rack!
Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack Review - 2023 Toyota Highlander
Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about Swagman E-SPEC bike rack for two on the 2023 Toyota Highlander. It's gonna be able to hold up to two bikes, 70 pounds each, which means it can accommodate those heavier E-bikes. So that's gonna have three strap down points, one on each tire, and it's gonna have this hook on the frame, which unfortunately I wouldn't recommend using any carbon frame bikes with. And to take it off is pretty straightforward. All you have to do is kinda start with these straps on the side.
Hollywood Racks Destination 4 Bike Rack Review - 2023 Toyota Highlander
Hi, Matt with etrailer and today we're gonna be talking about the Hollywood Racks Destination four bike rack on the 2023 Toyota Highlander. This is gonna be a very versatile entry-level bike rack if you wanna haul four bikes. This is gonna have a maximum capacity of 35 pounds per bike and it's gonna have three strap down points. One's gonna be on each tire and the third one is gonna be attached to your frame. So since it is making frame contact we don't recommend any carbon frame bikes but since this is adjustable too, it's gonna be great if you wanna try to accommodate a lot of alternative frame bikes. Since this is an entry level bike rack, It doesn't have a tilt away feature but something I do like about how it interacts with the Highlander is we still have a lot of clearance in between the back of our vehicle and our bike.

Saris MHS 2 Bike Rack Review - 2022 Toyota Highlander
Hi, everyone, Aidan here with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Saris MHS Platform-Style Bike Rack here on our 2022 Toyota Highlander. Now, this style of bike rack is becoming more and more popular where you've got a long tray and these two wheel hoops that are holding the bike in place. And this one actually does a really good job of holding it, partially because we've got secondary points of contact at the back wheel with this wheel strap and with this block right here that kinda wedges against the front wheel, and that's gonna keep that movement in the front wheel down to a minimum. Some other racks of this style do have a bit more bike movement, they hold them well, but for some people, that peace of mind, myself included, of seeing your bike staying still on the rack is really nice, so that's a big plus for this rack. Something else you have is the ability to tilt it away with the bikes loaded.

Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2021 Toyota Highlander
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer today on our 2021 Toyota Highlander, we're going to be checking out the Cooley hitching post pro bike rack. So kind of my first impressions of the hitching post pro on the back of the Highlander is I think it looks really good. actually, the rack has a nice, modern and simple design to it, more or less kind of just like the Highlander. So it's a good, a good matchup. I'd say with that said, though it's going to be a great way to carry around a lot of bikes. This one can hold up to a total of four and one of the best parts about it is the fact that it's super easy to use one of the more simple racks and it does a great job of holding your bikes.
Hollywood Racks RV and Camper Bike Racks Review - 2021 Toyota Highlander
Evangeline: Hi everyone. It is Evangeline from eTrailer.com and today we are looking at our Hollywood racks RV rider bike rack here on our 2021 Toyota Highlander. One of its features is that this can tilt away and to do so takes a little bit of a process. You first need to take off this clip, There we go. That's kind of in the way, take off this clip and then you can remove the pin.
Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Toyota Highlander
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2020, Toyota Highlander, we'll be checking out the Swagman XC2, platform-style bike rack. First impression of the rack in the back of our Highlander, I think it looks super simple and it's pretty compact, don't take up a bunch of space. So honestly, if I was someone who just rode every now and again, this will probably be a pretty good choice, you know, it stores up very compact don't take up a whole lot of space when you're keeping it in your garage or whatever. So, it's a efficient way to get your bikes to and from the trails. With that said though, it is gonna hold up to a total of two bikes, and the way it's gonna do it is by using this frame hook here.

Curt Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Toyota Highlander
Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com, I'm Bobby. And today we're taking a look at the Curt Premium Four Bike Rack Carrier here on the back of our 2020 Toyota Highlander. So guys if you're looking for a way of getting a nice little carrier for you and your family. I highly recommend the Curt Four Bike Premium Rack. The reason for that as you guys can see, we are going to have these nice little tapered arms, and so that's really what starts setting this apart from a lot of the other carriers out there. And it's really the only saving grace for it, in my opinion.
Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2020 Toyota Highlander
Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2020 Toyota Highlander, we're going to be taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro 4 Bike Rack. So this rack can hold up to a total of four bikes and right away, the first thing I noticed is where the rack is going to hold the bike in relation to our Highlander's back window. And to me, it's right there in that sweet spot. Whenever you're looking out of the rear view, you can still kind of keep an eye on your bikes, but they're not going to sit up so high that they're really going to block or affect your vision. So the way the rack works is really simple, and that's one of the things I like about it. It's going to hold our bike down in three spots.
RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Toyota Highlander
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at how the RockyMounts GuideRail 3 Bike Platform Rack fits on the 2019 Toyota Highlander. So this is going to be a useful rack if you want something that's easy to put your bikes on and off of, and you can carry up to three bikes with this rack. It has some downsides too like a slightly decreased weight capacity as well as your versatility with some of your different bikes. So we'll talk about that focusing on the Highlander. So the first thing we're gonna take a look at is the tilt away feature. We have a handle towards the center of the rack, but it's kind of hard to reach it.
Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Toyota Highlander S64400

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Toyota Highlander TH9057
Hey guys. Today we have a 2019 Toyota Highlander and we're going to do a testing of the Thule Range 4 bike rack. Now, this is a hitch mounted bike rack that goes into your 2 inch by 2 inch hitch receiver. It's a hanging style rack, so it's going to equip your bike by the top tube of your frame. We see over here we have 2 straps securing the top tube, just pull those down and get them really tight in there and snug. The third point of contact is going to be down here with our anti-sway cradle.
Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Toyota Highlander HR1400Z
Today, in our 2019 Toyota Highlander, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 4 Platform Style 4-bike rack. That's part number HR1400Z.I've already got it loaded up on the Highlander just to give you a good idea of what it looks like and how it's going to hold our bikes. It actually holds our bikes by their top tube. The rubber coated hook puts down pressure on that top tube, into the cradles and then a hook and loop strap keeps our wheels in place. When it's all said and done, it's a nice tight fit. I'm actually shaking the entire vehicle there and there's not a whole lot of movement.
Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2019 Toyota Highlander hr200z
Today on our 2019 Toyota Highlander, we're gonna be doing a test fit on the Hollywood Rack Trail Rider Platform Style Two Bike Rack. That's part number HR-200Z.So, I've already got it loaded up just to give you a good idea of what it looks like and how it's gonna hold our bikes. It actually holds our bikes by this rubber coated frame hook. It goes over the top two, puts down pressure into those wheel cradles, and then a hook and loop strap keeps our wheels in place. Not a bad way to carry our bikes. It's nice and solid.
Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2018 Toyota Highlander
Today in our 2018 Toyota Highlander, we're going to be test fitting Thule's Hitching Post Pro 4 bike hanging carrier. Our bike is held in place with three straps, two for the top of the frame and one on the vertical shaft to keep it from rattling, preventing any bike to bike contact as well as bike to rack contact. The cradles where our bike sit have grooves in the bottom and this is for your brake cables so that way they'll fit down in the groove and they won't rub or cause any abrasions to the bottom of your bike frame. The straps are adjustable using the multiple holes and they're easy to take on and off. You simply just pull it off the loop and if you're putting it on, you simply pull it down on the loop. We'll now take all of our straps loose, both on top and one on the side and we can remove our bike.Simply lift up and slide the bike off and now you're ready to ride. We'll give you an idea of how far it sticks out.
Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2018 Toyota Highlander HR4000
Colin: Hey guys. It's Colin here at at etrailer. Today, we have 2018 Toyota Highlander. We're going to test fit the Hollywood Racks Destination 4 Bike Rack. This is a platform style rack that allows you to transport up to four bikes to and from your destination. Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2017 Toyota Highlander
Rob: Hey, everybody. Rob here at etrailer.com, and today we're to be taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro hanging style bike rack on our 2017 Toyota Highlander. Our Hitching Post Pro allows us to take up to four bikes with us, if we want to hit the trail with some family or some friends, maybe just taking a day trip to the park. But a hitch mounted bike rack is going to be one of the easiest ways, I think, to carry up to four bikes with you. It definitely beats cramming your bikes into the back hatch of your Highlander, and for me personally, it definitely beats a roof rack because I'm a little bit on the shorter side and I don't want to have to lift my bike up over my head to get it onto the bike rack on a roof.
