Reese 60x24 Hitch Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - 500 lbs Capacity - Glossy Black
My 9 year old and I were able to assemble and install this in about an hour. The anti rattle bolt recommended in the video, and the lights, were great additions and I definitely recommend them too. Handled a 900 mile round trip around the northeast and had plenty of room to bring Xmas presents home in the Curt waterproof cargo bag.
This is a solid Cargo carrier. I was originally looking for a rooftop carrier but I came to realize that a cargo carrier is a far superior option for increased weight and size, ease of access, stability and aerodynamic. Although this one doesn't fold up, there is still adequate space to access the rear hatch on my SUV.

17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Once it was together, I really liked it. It wasn’t that easy to put together and it required metric tools which I had to search for. It worked well and it was very useful.
Great little rack that does it's job. 4/5 due to two factors, one being its maximum 150lbs rating & two for being positioned DIRECTLY behind the stock exhaust on the 2017 Fiesta ST. We used this to driving across the country (Seattle, WA > Norfolk, VA) and it worked great, after wrapping our suitcase that was directly behind the exhaust in some heat resistant insulation. It did Melt the canvas tarp slightly but after the insulation, the suitcase was fine. Definitely was a lifesaver for space, with three adults, a chihuahua and 17lb cat being in the car for 45 hours, over the span of 5 days.

Curt 60x24 Hitch Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - 500 lbs Capacity - Matte Black
Great cargo rack! Well made and strong. We modified ours to carry our ebikes on top of our generator and cooler. We've been from coast to coast with no problems.
Used it a hand full of times for camping with two different SUVs and its been great. Once over 2000 miles round trip. With the waterproof bag you can hold more gear since it goes above the side rails. Just be careful if your driveway slopes down you’ll lightly scrape the ground when backing out. And if you have a smaller suv or car make sure you center the heaviest items or it will feel it pulling back and forth on the freeway.

19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - Folding - 500 lbs
I use this on my 2022 F250, when hauling my cab over. I was able to remove the folding part and attach it straight to my hitch to get it closer to the back of the truck. It’s light weight, decently sturdy, and easy to assemble.
This thing was not fun to put together. At all. But I got fair warning about it from the reviews. I suggest a 17mm socket bit and a drill. Plan on taking it apart a couple times so don't cinch it down tight at first. Once it is put together it's a solid unit. It'll be nice for our camping trips. The light bulky stuff that took up precious real estate can now ride outside.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 41-1/2" Long x 37" Wide x 4" Deep - 150 lbs
I recently purchased Curt Roof Rack and Curt Roof Cargo Basket from Etrailer for my 2024 Toyota 4Runner TRD Sport and the product was excellent, easy to install and Etrailer rep Mr. Mike B having great experiences and very helpful with the products. Thank you!
The reason I bought this basket is due to gas prices. I have a 4X4 suburban I use for camping and hunting but it takes a small loan to fill up the tank. Actually this basket cost less than it does to fill it up. So my thought was if i can get all my gear on my daily driver then i could save some money and maybe even sale the burb. So i gave it a shot last weekend. The rack was easy to put together. I had it out of the box and on the roof in under 30 minutes. As you can see in the pic, i have a rather large ice chest, chain saw, 6 man tent, gas stove and my chair on the roof. My camping destination was about 3 hours away. First was a hour of highway driving at speeds around 70. No issues there. Then 2 hours of windy back roads. No issues there either. The basket made it possible for me and my two kids to load up in the car and head to the hills for three days. The plus for me was it only takes 50$ to fill up the car. :-) I had the max weight in this basket with no issues. I'm very happy with this basket.

20x47 Reese Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" Hitches - Steel - 300 lbs
From start of project to finish, e-trailer was there for me all the way. They helped me figure out which would fit my very specific application, then shipped the product extremely quickly. Everything worked as it should and looks awesome.
This is great cargo basket: solid and secure, easy assembly, well designed. The angled neck keeps the basket well away from the ground; I haven’t had any problems with it bottoming out. My first use was actually on a trip back from Florida following Powered Paragliding training. I was intending to bring back just a Paramotor (which would have stood vertically inside the basket), but ended up bringing back a whole Trike assembly! Mounted it on the basket as shown, and it rode just fine back through four states. Got a lot of looks on the way home! I concur with an earlier reviewer that a neat trick is to use a stabilizer strap from the hitch to the corner of the basket. There is plenty of slop in the receiver when the neck is inserted, and a short ratcheting tie down cancels the rattle effectively. I’m very pleased with this purchase; and while I don’t plan to haul around anything as big as that trike, I look forward to many more years of use from it!

Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 47" Long x 35" Wide - 165 lbs
the good: strong. lots of anchor points. secure once assembled. gaps between bars are small, stuff doesn't slip through and hit my roof. reasonably priced. mounts securely. on and off relatively easily. holds a good amount of cargo. weight limit is more than my roof can handle anyway. the bad: assembly is a pain and didn't fit exactly. small rust spots developing. heavy. plastic wind deflector cracked from a rock. lots of wind noise driving at high speeds. overall. i recommend this basket. had some assembly issues because the two pieces didn't fit into each other easily, one side is slightly off-center. wish the plastic wind deflector was metal instead. i've used it several times and have no real issues with it.
I purchased this for my daughter who has a very active lifestyle. She has driven cross country and goes camping with friends. She absolutely loves this roof rack. It was easy to mount and easy to load.

19x47 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 300 lbs
Works great for camping trips. Also, adapted carrier to hold a electric wheel chair which a foldable ramp (adapted) is used to get it up on the carrier.
This cargo carrier worked great. Used it to move a rototiller, 2 hour trip. No damage or deformation to the carrier despite the tiller being near the top of the weight limit. The hitch bolt held the carrier firmly in place. It doesn't come with the lights, I installed light kit Item # 52014. Just had to drill four small holes (I knew this light kit wasn't specifically designed for this carrier, just wanted something cheap). Works great on a Town Car, lots of ground clearance. I'm very happy with this product.

24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Tilting - Folding - 500 lbs
I love this unit! I’m an avid Camper and Jeeper. My rig has big tires including the spare that requires additional clearance. In addition to hauling my gear, I had concerns about ground clearance off roading and stability. This unit exceeded my expectations on every point! I can even open the tailgate with the unit on and it still has enough clearance to fold up when not loaded. In addition to a great product, the order was confirmed and shipped same day and on my doorstep two days later. It was pretty easy to put together but having a second person to help and fit it on the first time is helpful. Great product!
Easy assembly. Took about 15 minutes. Includes everything needed, even 2 wrench tools! Feels sturdy and well made. Feels just like our other one( curt brand)

Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier for 2" Hitches - With Ramp - 77" Long - 500 lbs
Don't recommend this product for anyone wanting to transport a bike over 250lbs. It's two separate pieces bolted together, and after setup I didn't feel confident in its ability to hold my Honda ct110 just by the look of it. The bike's wet weight is 203lbs, and when I mounted my bike to this unit it didn't feel sturdy at all. The photos I included show where the four bolts easily started to concave, I didn't feel like I was over tightening. So, beware of this if you do get this product. After I knew this wasn't the product for me I did try contacting their customer service to see what they could do, but didn't hear back from them at all. So without any hope for a resolution, this ended up being donated to the local goodwill. Hope this helps others think twice about purchasing.
Survived multiple trips with my Svartpilen. I have thick offroad tires that do not sit down in the channels well, but most won't have that issue.

SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box - Roof Mount - 18 cu ft - Black
After a year of dependable use the SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box continues to perform to my needs, wants, and expectations. The 2 attributes that shine the most are ease of access/cargo loading (rear access vs. side) and ease of off/on (lightweight and access to the U-bolt hardware). While the overall quality of the materials and hardware are not quite "Excellent", they're darn close. For my needs I'm very happy with this cargo box and the price point makes it a better option the the more expensive brands. It may not be as cool and groovy as a Th*** or Yak*** box but it gets the job done.
The Roof Box was as described and fit great -- Nice. Shipping however was not good, trucker dropped it and the skid at the foot of the driveway -- It looked like it had been crushed and dropped. There was some slight damage, but we accepted it as complaining would be more trouble than it is worth. E Trailer should vet their carriers better -- no care taken with this shipment.

Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Matte Black
Excellent car top carrier (not that I've had many to compare it to). Easy to install and remove, sturdy, and fits well on our Toyota Siena. Opening it is a little tricky, as sometimes the top sticks to the bottom a bit. Adds a lot of extra storage to our car, great for when we go camping. Great experience with etrailer.
Excellent roomy cargo box. My wife’s luggage even fit (see photo). Fit the top of my Forester like it was meant to be there and the hatch opens without obstruction. Great shipping by etrailer.com via Estes freight shipping (almost overkill on shipping).

GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Slide Out - 17 cu ft - 420 lbs - Black
Perfect sized box for carry sized luggage and softball game day gear. Proven space saver. Receiver is showing signs of rust otherwise would be a ten. Would buy again.
Overall it's a great box. Love how much room it has and it's easy access. Slides out so van's rear doors open completely. Brake and turn lights improve visibility. Not waterproof but generally things stay dry. A couple of minor things: hole for lock was too close to the edge and pulled out so I drilled one on each front corner (more secure) - metal stays keep sliding out. I need to glue them in. I definitely would buy again.
How the 24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches Fits on your 2023 Chevrolet Equinox
Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we have the REESE Cargo Carrier. This is gonna be a 24-inch by 60-inch carrier and we're gonna take a look at how it fits here on our 2023 Chevrolet Equinox. This is a steel cargo basket with a 500-pound evenly distributed weight capacity, which means that you can carry a lot of things with this basket, expands your cargo space on your Equinox. Ideal for if you want to carry cargo that might be a little dirty, sandy or messy and you don't want it messing up the interior of your vehicle or if you wanna make it easier to lift up into the basket versus having to lift it into your hatch. This is actually a pretty good fit with the Equinox because it does have a little bit of a rise, and since you don't have much ground clearance with this vehicle, this is gonna help you out. So let's take some measurements to see how this fits.

The owner of this vehicle needs to carry around a really heavy scooter, so this has the weight capacity that can accommodate it, plus a lot of different features like height and clearance with the hatch make for a good pairing. So we'll talk about those features, but the first thing I want you to look at is that hatch clearance.

Yakima EXO Swing Away Storage System Review - 2022 Chevrolet Equinox
How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Yakima EXO system, outfitted today with the GearLocker, GearWarrior, and TopShelf on our 2022 Chevrolet Equinox. Adding a cargo carrier system to the back of your Equinox is gonna help solve the problem of having limited space, which I'm pretty sure as an Equinox owner you're aware of. This is gonna allow you to get those bigger, bulkier items out on the road with you. So if you set up the EXO system with the GearLocker and the GearWarrior, you can have a covered storage system as well as a rack to get those things like coolers and firewood out on your journey. To open the EXO system, we're gonna twist this knob that's back here. (knob clanking) Just thread it in, and then we're gonna press almost out.

What a basket on top of your vehicle is gonna do for you is help you get those bigger, bulkier items on the road with you by taking advantage of the negative space. The thing that's special about the SkinnyWarrior is the fact that it's so narrow, so it's open for the other side of your roof rack to be used for maybe an enclosed box, a kayak carrier, a bicycle carrier. you're wide open to many different options. So let's take a closer look at the SkinnyWarrior itself.

This is going to be a great way to get all that gear out of your vehicle and throw it in the cargo carrier, that way more leg room for everybody in there on those long trips. Another thing that it's good for is if you have dirty cargo, like let's say you went out in the mud, you went through the stuff out here instead of taking it, put it in the back of your vehicle, or you come back from the beach, it all stays out here. The dirt and stuff will just fall off and it never goes inside. You don't have to clean up all your interior or smelly sports equipment's another good options to throw back here, that way that smell never gets in your car either. Now, even though it is aluminum, it's still heavy duty.

Fit Test: 20x59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches with 2020 Chevrolet Equinox
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today we have the CURT steel folding cargo carrier, and we're gonna take a look at how it fits on our 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. So a lot of people like the folding cargo carrier because since this carrier is made of steel people don't wanna take it off and on of their vehicle more often than they have to. So because it folds up, they can keep it on their car and they don't take up much space as if it was folded down. Now the downsides to this though is if you can see how it fits here on our Equinox, you can see that it takes up a good amount of width, but definitely the height. So if I wanted to open up our hatch here, I would not be able to.
Set up: Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Cargo Box on a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox

Does it Fit? Testing the Flint Hill Goods 29" x 49" Carrier w/ 60" Ramp on a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be talking about how the Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Cargo Carrier with a 60-inch long ramp fits on the 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. So this cargo carrier is pretty unique because it is made of aluminum, so it is lightweight, but it still has a really long ramp. With how it works with the Equinox, some things to keep in mind is I like how low to the ground it sits making it easier for the incline to ramp things up into their carrier. The downside is you are gonna have to have a two-inch hitch receiver and make sure you have enough tongue weight for those heavier items. Also, you are gonna lose access to your hatch once something is loaded up onto that ramp. So with all that being known or being said, if you still think this is gonna be a good fit for you let's take a look at how it works.
Fit Test: 22x60 Flint Hill Goods Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches on a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we're gonna take a look at how the Flint Hill Goods 60 by 22 Aluminum Cargo Carrier fits on the 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. So an aluminum cargo carrier is awesome if you need a little extra space, but you don't wanna put your cargo inside of your vehicle, you want it more accessible, and you want the cargo carrier to be lightweight to make it easier to install. That's where this one comes in handy. It's 60 by 22, meaning you have a lot of width, an okay amount of length for the carrier, and it is lightweight and corrosion resistant, you can leave it on your car and not have to worry about it. We're gonna focus on how it fits here on our Equinox. And the main thing for me with cargo carriers is how easy is it to install, how much space do I have for cargo, can I open up the hatch on our Equinox So in our case here, this sits straight out, and if you wanna open up your hatch, look at how much space it takes to lift that door up.
Fit Check: Flint Hill Goods 22" x 49" Cargo Carrier on a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we're talking about how the Flint Hill Goods Aluminum Cargo Carrier, which is 20 by 47 inches large, fits on the 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. So this is gonna be a small, compact, sweet cargo carrier. If you have very limited space inside the garage or in your shed, but you still need extra space on your vehicle, then this might help out with that. It is made of aluminum, so it is gonna be lightweight, in fact, I measured the inside of your hatch, if you put the seats down, you might be able to fit this inside of your vehicle for transportation purposes. Now, with this on the Equinox, there are some things to keep in mind with how it fits on the car. One is gonna be, can you open up the hatch This does not tilt down.

We have these on our 54-inch crossbars. And we have about 23 1/4 inches of leftover space.
Install: Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket on a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox
Hi, there, everyone. John here, and today we're going to be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack Cargo Basket on our 2020 Chevy Equinox. Now this is gonna be a great choice, if you have items that you wanna keep outside of your vehicle, maybe you have wet bags, camping equipment, you're taking a couple different trips to maybe go kayaking and you don't wanna worry about anything that you can keep on the top of your vehicle inside your actual cargo area. So we're gonna take a closer look at this and see how this may work with you and your Equinox. Now, whenever it comes to the cargo basket itself, it's going to be made out of steel, and it's powder coated, so it's gonna hold up to any rust and corrosion you may have to worry about. So that's, like I said, whenever you're wanting to put your wet items, your wet bags, any camping equipment that may have some water on it, you're not gonna have to worry about that corrosion.
