Best 2023 Kia Soul Trailer Hitch Ball Mounts

I needed a hitch receiver for a 2016 kia soul i am using for the time being to pull a small trailer and for my bike rack. My 15 year old son helped me install it no problem and it works great. Saved me a bunch of money!

The first one did not fit, there is a difference in the size of the hole on a class II and Class I Hitch, Just remember this when ordering. Class II will not fit in the Class I hole.

I am towing an 820 lb. Sylvan Sport pop-up with my VW Golf. This is the maximum weight I can tow with my car. Because the Golf has a very low clearance, finding a tow bar with enough lift has been difficult. I went through two previous tow bars that made attaching the trailer difficult, especially in non-level campgrounds. The Curt drawbar with a 5" rise was the solution to my problems, it gives me just enough lift to deal with all situations

Shipped in quicker than I thought it would. It fit it my old Hidden Hitch Class I receiver perfectly. I drive a '97 Geo Prizm, and the 5 inch rise is a definite plus in keeping my 5 x 8 utility trailer nice and level when I'm hauling lawn equipment. The only drawback is that the Curt drawbar does not come with the pin.

The tow hitch on my daily driver (Kia Soul) is much lower than our other tow vehicle (1926 model T) Using this hitch allows us to tow with the trailer near level. Only important because it's a super light weight teardrop. It is not set up with a landing leg or levelers. So the trailer can only be used when hitched to a vehicle. It's two pieces of steel welded together with two holes drilled in it. As long as it doesn't fall apart it's excellent. E-trailer shipped quickly, no hassles! Sometimes it's not the product. It's the seller.

,Draw bar was 100% BUT was packed very poorly! Put a hole in the box and almost got away.

I over measured my new trailer so there is a tilt to the trailer, I needed a 3" lift and ordered a 5" lift thinking i need the maximum by guessing , the trailer was level. Use a level if you want a level trailer. I,m a pinhead. Great product, they didn't know that I was a pinhead when I ordered so they sent me very quickly what i asked for. MEASURE MEASURE MEASURE

Perfect for my KIA Soul with its low trailer hitch

This drawbar was exactly what I needed with the 5" rise. I use it to tow my boat. My car is low to the ground so the rise was just what I needed. The drawbar is very durable as well. When I was out on my boat a hit and run was done on my trailer. The trailer was pushed into my car and both were moved about 3 feet forward. The drawbar didn't break in half. It was bent but it prevented any damage to the rear of my car because of the quality construction of the drawbar.

The item I ordered came in fast and was exactly as described. I will use them again.

Received the Class II Drawbar 5-1/2" Rise or 6" Drop - BM96 in a timely manner. The rise was what I was looking for to use with my Polaris ATV 570 since its standard receiver is 1-1\4 hitch and sits low to the ground. This was just the right height to pull my john boat behind the ATV.

Look and quality of the mount is awesome. Beefy in size as well. If using on my particular application, removal of rear diffuser is necessary. If they had extended it another inch it woulda been perfect. 2015 Audi a3 tdi. Wouldn’t let me add a third pic but it’s a finger tip space between the ball and bumper with diffuser removed.

My Mini Cooper is lowered and this unit really helped level out the trailer I am pulling. The product is heavy and solid. I would definitely recommend this item

I wrote 2 days ago and haen't heardafom anyone so I guess you only want reviews-. Here is what I wrote Steve, the class 1 hitch doesn’t fit the trailer hitch either. I don’t understand the continuing problem with all of the Curt hitches we have tried including the last draw hitch you selected and shipped, which I now need to return after H. Idalia passes, I want to point out that I initiially ordered somewhere on line a Maxxhaul adapter so I could move my 2” trailer until I sell it and it fit perfectly. I NEVER expected to have so much trouble getting a ball hitch to fit the 1.25 hitch recommended by etrailer for my car. Aren’t you glad I am writing an email rather than make star comments? I know that someone writes these things for ‘you’ and you don’t necessarily do the hands on so please direct this problem to someone who is supposed to make these product directives and solve this $[XX] attractive trailer hitch problem so I can haul my lawnmower in for repairs when needed on my utility trailer designed for doing so. Doesn’t Drawtite have a ball hitch for level hauling a trailer rather than Curt which is too thick. The powers that be need to rethink OD (outside diameters) vs ID (inside diameters) in their trailer connectors, screw the rattling! PS don’t forget arrangements for the return of the recommended draw hitch.

Perfect for my Honda Fit as it has a low carriage, the Euro shape gave me a few extra inches to tow a small trailer across the country from Oregon to North Carolina with no issues.

Not as versatile as a traditional hitch mount and ball, but much neater if it happens to fit your needs. This fits my Subaru Outback perfectly and places the ball at the ideal height for my trailer. One piece means one less thing to fail.

The welding splatter found its way to the hitch pin hole and it took me some time with a Dremel to clean it out so the hitch pin would slide in.

Each edge of the hitch receiver shipping carton was pierced by mounting brackets, but no damage fortunately. Consider adding another layer of cardboard padding?

Picture attached of the somewhat unique application for the Euro style setup I’m using – I’m dragging my race tires to racing events with my 750HP Cobra!

Strong and seems to be well made and well finished. One-inch ball mounting hole. I used this for a Curt hitch mounted on a 2014 Forester and pulls a small Harbor Freight trailer. Perfect height and trailer is level. Warning - don't get their hitch pin, it does not have a hole for a cotter pin, only a weak clip that I would not trust.

I searched the internet to put a hitch on my 2016 Chevy Equinox and found an instructional video from eTrailer.com where they installed on my exact car. I decided to go with eTrailer.com because they answered all my questions and because of the video-I support businesses that go the extra mile with these videos. Shipping was quick and well tracked, however, the box was flimsy and the one end of the hitch had come out of the box side and the ball mount could have easily come out of that hole during shipping. If I were eTrailer.com I'd charge an extra couple of bucks for more sturdy boxes-people will still buy as eTrailer is a well-trusted brand and this would overcome a lot of the negative reviews you'll see on their site about this shipping issue in their own reviews :-) I installed the hitch by myself (definitely recommend help as two people holding it up to the frame makes attaching 100% easier) in about 45 minutes total (out of the box, read instructions, review video again and installation complete). All hardware went on with no issues. Great quality hitch! I also bought the lesser expensive wiring assembly because most recent equinox's come hitch ready with pre-wired assembly in the left side compartment-snap and done. Picked up a new trailer at Home Depot within days and drove 5 feet and the clacking was horrible. I had always had a welded hitch before buying a hitch that took a ball mount. I really thought something was wrong and when I searched the internet that night it turns out this is very common. However, all you need is some sort of hitch "silencing" device. The number of options will drive you mad but I went with the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch and it did the trick for much less than most of the other options. If I were eTrailer.com I'd have that as one of the RECOMMENDED add-ons and explanation why its super-worthy when customers are buying a hitch. Would have saved me the time and hassle of dealing with it later and the extra shipping charge for buying after the fact when I got free shipping for the other items the first time :-) All in all, I'm super, super happy with my hitch, wiring assembly, ball mount, ball mount locking pin and the hitch silencer. A little loose, noise but does the job.

I wasn't sure what type of ball mount I needed for my new Mazda CX-9, so I had to call a representative.
