Service from eTrailer was great, they even wrote to ensure I got the order correct when I ordered a different size hitch cover than the drawbar that I ordered. Picture attached of the somewhat unique application for the Euro style setup I’m using – I’m dragging my race tires to racing events with my 750HP Cobra!

After speaking with an etrailer phone rep, I did some measuring and opted for this Curt Euro-style drawbar. It looks good on my 2018 Kia Niro, and gets the ball height up 2" and back 3" from where my old ball mount was (much too close to license plate and trailer a bit low in front). For my car, it's the perfect match with the Curt trailer hitch.

Still perfect, looks and works great.

Excellent fitment and gives my trailer a level stance.

Good product and good price, thanks etr ailer

I can see why people usually buy the generic hitch risers or droppers that you can screw different size balls onto but this riser/ball looks and works so much better and I bet 90% of people never change out the ball anyway. I purchased the 1-7/8" but later needed a 2" as well, now have two separate risers and wouldn't have it any other way. One year now and no rust or major wear.

I purchased a 2 inch ball model about a year ago and I have used it several times, I recently bought a new trailer and needed a 1? ball so I knew who to go to without hesitation. I like how the euro style drawbar hugs the shape of my vehicle (Dodge Dart) and has a clean look, doesn't look like a typical clunky hitch. Etrailer is fast, friendly and knowledgeable and I will continue to use them!

Solid bar construction not hollow. Powdercoating or paint (can't tell) doesn't scratch easily. I tend to destruction test most of my hitches for some reason, tossed on the ground, garage, shelf, trunk etc. Does the job and the rise is enough to keep most of my trailers flat which I prefer to the slightly tilted. Drawbar is used on a 2002 VW Jetta.

Works great and I like the smaller European profile.

Exactly what I needed for my small cargo trailer behind my Mustang. Just the perfect rise. Catalog information was extremely useful and informative in finding the right drawbar.

Looks good on my car. Solid shaft not hollow on 1 7/8 in. Very sturdy construction. About 1.5 inch more rise than expected. Looks better on the car than a normal hitch.

Perfect fit/height/length. Solid and strong. I always put 2 bands of electrical tape (before and after) the pin hole to take up any slop and noise when going over bumps/giggling.

Awesome for use with a curt hitch on a 2013 Taurus.

Love it.
I have had hitch balls in the
past on my Jeep and always worried about the nut coming loose. I love this euro style design.

These are super cool. Seen them quite a bit overseas, but for whatever reason they're a bit hard to find here (at least in retail stores). They're perfect for low-sitting cars like mine. Definitely glad I got one.

Easy installation, everything lined up great.

Worked great on my Chevy Bolt:)

Clean and simple. Got one of each size for a 2013 VW Beetle convertible. Is precisely the correct size, height, etc.

Hi what do you mean by got one of each size assuming 2 and 1

Yes, Boswell ordered 2 different Curt Trailer Drawbars # C45561 for a 1-7/8 in trailer ball, and the # C45562 for the 2 inch trailer ball.

Nice clean look.

Works great and easy to store away. Only issue is the chrome plating started flaking off after the first use. But has just about finally come completely off. But still functions fine.

I received my order well before expected! The product although not yet installed is exactly what I expected. For the price and free shipping on top of it all, Top Notch Gentlemen!

works great with hitch and stows easily

Great product. Excellent quality and the staff were phenominal in helping me select the right product for my needs.

Works perfect for this situation.

Very well made, very quick shipping
company is the best for towing regaled products

Exactly what I wanted. Thanks again

  • How to Determine Ball Mount Rise Needed for 2013 VW Jetta Sportwagen
To determine the rise/drop you need, you'll need to determine the height difference between your receiver and the trailer coupler. I've linked you to an FAQ article that shows how to do this. I've linked you to the Euro Style ball mounts we offer, be sure to choose one with a 1-7/8 inch ball

  • Comparing Hitches Available for 2007 Suzuki SX4
A Euro-style ballmount could be used in the Curt Class I, part # C11443. The # C45561 offers a 1-7/8 inch ball on a 3-1/8 inch rise. The Euro ball mounts are actually rated for a Class II hitch, but as long as you don't exceed the 200 lb tongue weight capacity of the hitch, you'll be fine. This hitch would sit a few inches below the rear bumper, as shown in the provided photo. Unfortunately, I do not have the exact measurement. If you'll be towing, you'll also need a wiring harness....

  • Curt Euro Ball Mount Recommendation with 1-7/8 inch Diameter Hitch Ball
Yes, Curt does have a Euro ball mount that has a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball. For that we have the part # C45571 which has a rise of 2-5/8 inches. Or for a rise of 3-1/8 inches you'd want the part # C45561.

The Curt hitch part # C11701 is a confirmed fit for your 2007 Mercedes Benz E-350 and has a towing capacity of 2,500 lbs. You'd have to contact a Mercedes dealer or the owner's manual to determine what the vehicle's towing capacity is and be sure not to exceed the lowest capacity between the hitch and the vehicle. For a ball mount you'd want the part # C45561 and then for wiring you'd want the part # 119250KIT which is a confirmed fit and will work well.

The total trailer weight and tongue weight you mentioned having of 55 lb tongue weight and 455 lb total trailer weight would fall well within the towing capacity of your Accord so you'd be totally safe with this setup. I know you have a hitch already but for trailer wiring then the kit we'd recommend is the part # 118336 because it installs very easily and has the most reliable converter box of the kits we offer. • Would Curt Trailer Hitch for 2016 Volkswagen Jetta Tow Motocross Bike Trailer
Looking at the picture you sent in of your motorcycle trailer it would pretty easily weigh less than the 2,000 lb capacity of the Curt Hitch part # C11474 that is a confirmed fit for your 2016 Volkswagen Jetta. You probably have about 400 lbs of dirt bikes and the trailer probably only weighs a few hundred lbs as well. For a ball mount with a 2 inch ball you would want the part # C45562 or for 1-7/8 inch ball you would want the # C45561. Lastly you would want to check the owners manual...
