I don't typically leave reviews, but this product earned one. Everything went on exactly how it should with zero issues. The measurement for the hole was perfect. The hardware used was top notch and had no issues torquing to spec. The install was quick, and every step of the way was simple and thought out, and communicated effectively in the instruction pages. VERY impressed with the kit, and how strong everything is. This is going to be a huge help for towing our mules around with the tundra. Big thanks to etrailer for the communication and fast shipping, making sure I could get this installed before mule days!

It works great use it to pull our snowmobile race trailer, very simple to use than when I am done the box is empty and flat

It's been great. Not a single hitch, no pun intended. I was able to figure out ways to install this thing by myself even on the parts where the instructions said to have 2 people. Been towing with this thing all year, 24 foot tilt deck gooseneck, no problem. 100% recommend.

The B&W hitches are the best in the business. I have had 6 of them now from a 92 Dodge, an 07 Dmax, a 2012 HD2500, a 15 Dodge, a 19 HD2500 and a 21 Dmax and now this latest one in an 06 HD2500. I HAVE HAF ZERO ISSUES WITH ALLBOF THESE HITCHES. ZERO!!!!!!!!!. READ the directions and FOLLOW the directions and you will be very satisfied with the results.

After having this hitch for a year I can’t say I’m too impressed. They claim the powdercoat on it is durable, but after only a year there’s already spots of rust. The pictures I’ve included are only showing a few spots I’ve noticed. I painted the pieces that sit against my frame with frame paint in hopes that doesn’t rust either. But the outside facing pieces, I haven’t touched. My truck is stored in the winter and the hitch hasn’t even been used yet since purchase. I’m sure it performs well since my last gooseneck hitch was B&W. But as for durability, I don’t think they do as well anymore. It shouldn’t be this rusty only after a year, being stored, not seeing salt or even being used.

I love my hitch . I love how I can turn it over and I can still have use of the full truck bed. I could of bought a cheaper hitch but the quality is by far better than other hitches I have owned in the past. Customer service was great after they helped me fix my ordering mistake. The hitch is beefy and seem to be very strong. My guess is the truck frame will give before the hitch. Great quality. I very happy! I'm an above average backyard mechanic and found the installation doable, but a little of a challenge. Differently need a help. My wife was a big help. I use a 2X4 across my bed and a ratchet strap to lift and hold the center section in to position. I also had to reposition my exhaust pipe where it goes over the differential to get some clearance. Also, I had to drill out one of the square holes in the tailpipe L bracket to receive the factory bolt.

Seems to be as described. I haven’t yet used it to tow anything, but the instructions were accurate. Installed on my 2003 f-350. It did take quite a bit longer than I thought. Started around 1pm and got wrapped up around 6. At first it didn’t look like things were lining up right, but everything moved into place as I snugged bolts down and torqued as the sequence in the instructions say. I love how it sits flush and is so user friendly once installed. I have used the same type of hitch on a truck at the fire station, so I’m familiar with how they work and they have always been great for me and others. I just dropped a star for how long the install took compared to their estimate. I’m not new to turning wrenches either, but it didn’t look like things were lining up at first.

I was converting a fixed/welded gooseneck ball on a CM flatbed to a removable one so I could also use a B&W Companion Flatbed Gooseneck to 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch adapter. Although it wasn’t easy to find someone to cutout the old ball and install the new turnover ball, it was done expertly and the hitch works perfectly! Very easy to operate from the wheel well and turn over for a flat area for cargo. Always had a turnover ball in the past and highly recommend this one for a conversion.

This unit was very handy to be able to purchase and install on my Bradford Built flatbed so that I could install my B&W companion hitch with flatbed base on the truck. The welding was all fairly straight forward and didn't require much except for a few washers and a piece of flat steel for a spacer. The one down side is that the hitch pin/handle does not have any built in twist-n-lock method to lock it so the pin remains disengaged for the ball or companion assembly install like on the common B&W under truck bed assemblies I've had on several trucks. We ended up installing the pin slightly out of line so that the tip of the pin would catch on the exterior of the receiver when pulled out and then when I wanted to engage the pin just push up on the handle and press the pin back in. I do like that I can still cover the hitch hole with the cover plate as seen in the picture.

This was not to difficult to install. The most nerve racking part was cutting a hole in the bed of my truck. So far the finish is holding up to the weather and none of the bolts have come loose. Now, I just need to get a Gen Y or Reese Goosebox for my 5th wheel to eliminate the giant hitch in the back of my truck!

About a year ago i purchased this and i honestly have not put it to use. However, i did get an email from the company asking me about my experience and it was just a nice thing to see. So, my experience installing it went very well. Online directions from the company made it a breeze without any questions. I think the whole process took 2 hour with my dads help. The hardest part for me was cutting the heat sheild off the exhaust because i didnt have the right tools.

etrailer did great with the shipping, and the quality of fabrication of the hitch is great, however the coating is no good. B&W should start having their parts galvanized. Powder coating does not hold up to this application. Especially when you coat smooth bare steel surfaces. I installed my last B&W hitch and same situation good fabrication poor coating. 10 years later it is the only rusty part of my frame. Other than that great product.

Did the install myself following your video. The turn over ball works great and easy to flip even in frigid temps after being exposed to elements.

Easy enough to install. Directions are clear and the video online helped a lot. The little ring on top I made to give it a more finished look around the cutout. It would be nice if B & W included a piece like this with the kit, even if made of plastic. But, very happy with it.

We use a lot with a dump trailer and a horse trailer. No issues, smooth!

The local Ford dealer wants $375 for a gooseneck hitch kit that's nowhere near as nice as the B&W one. This is my fourth B&W product and this latest hitch kit doesn't disappoint. I have 2", 2-1/2" and 3" Tow & Stow hitches from B&W, and this is typical made in the USA B&W quality, and the hard case is a nice touch.

The ordering process was easy and the shipment came quicker than expected. Both products (B&W Ball/Safety Chain kit & set of chains) look to be as advertised so I'm happy with the overall purchase. These will be used to tow a 15k fifth wheel RV.

B&W hitch arrived and installing was a breeze. The ONLY problem I encountered was the lock washers included seemed inferior and better than half of them spread apart and I replaced them with known good. All in all good quality and etrailer was very good to deal with. I'll still give my whole experience 5 stars....maybe they just got a bad batch of lock washers.

Easy to install with minimal modifications to the truck. This hitch has held up well towing a 44 ft trailer loaded to the max. Great product.

The B&W trailer hitch is easy to install and a quality hitch. I have installed them in a Toyota Tundra, Ford f-250, and Chevrolet HD 2500. They are the best turnover ball on the market.

Ok first off. The paint adhesion of any b&w product is probably the worst I've seen for the money. The paint is the first thing that falls off. That being said if you know that already and take some precautions like I did then you can really easily fix this problem. I sandblasted the back half of my frame and did the 3 step por-15 method on everything. I currently live in Indiana and I do seldomly drive it in the winter but I hate rust and will be moving more south shortly. I por-ed every part that came with the hitch. Every bolt and nut got anti-seize. The bolts are also of basic quality and will rust fast. Anything that was metal on metal contact has a layer of marine grease to prevent the from from rusting in between. I'm extra but I felt that this was the only way to go to protect everything. It's still a great product and hasn't let me down yet.

This fit nicely on my 2004 Silverado 3500. Installation was very straight forward. I have not had a chance to use the hitch yet, but I don't see any reason that it won't work out excellent. Thanks

This was an easy one. No nonsense ordering with fast and free shipping. This comes in box for storage when not in use. Perfect fit for my 2024 Ram 3500 with factory spray on bedliner. The best thing is, no more grease on my hands or gloves. Looks and feels solid with a 30,000lbs rating.

The ball works ok, but after a few months it began to get small burrs on the side. This made it too tight in the hole and would not come out. I asked etrailer for help and they said it was my fault for not checking it every couple of weeks and that it was stuck in the truck bed for good. After a bit of research I found that jacking the ball out of the bed from under the truck worked. I had to file off all the burrs before it would go back in the hole. A few months later and it happened again.

Great hitch! I put this on my 2021 F-150 LB to tow our 10k lb fifth wheel and it worked exceptionally. I love how the ball can hide away to let you use the full bed for other things. Took about two hours to install, including cutting the holes and painting them. You'll want two people for this install. I paired this with an Anderson Ultimate Connection gooseneck hitch and Roadmaster Active Suspension system and my little 3.5l V6 1/2 ton towed this trailer with ease.

This works as designed. Its been installed a year now and we pull our 30' fifth wheel camper with it. High quality product like all B&W equipment. Fairly easy to install into my extended cab 2018 F-150. Instructions were easy to follow and you can do it with basic tools and mechanical ability. This is a very easy hitch to use. Had it professionally installed. Love the flip over feature and the tuck away chain connections.. Wish it came with the 15 dollar rubber cover, which really finishes off the install and keeps dirt out when stowed. Fyi the manual says to lubricate the corners of the ball shank to keep everything moving correctly and the manual ships with a package of white lithium grease. A little goes a long way.
