With the B&W Turnoverball underbed gooseneck trailer hitch you get the best of both worlds. When you go to tow, the Turnoverball creates a sturdy, dependable connection with your gooseneck trailer. And when you're done towing, you can remove the ball to get full bed access and a clean appearance.
The durable steel hitch ball included with the Turnoverball system secures in the hitch with a sturdy, 5/8" thick steel pin that is incorporated into the end of the operating handle. To lock the ball in place, drop it into the hitch hole in the bed of truck. Then rotate the handle in driver's-side wheel well counterclockwise until the latch engages. When the latch is engaged, the spring-loaded pin on the end of the handle will be inserted all the way through the base of the hitch ball, forming a strong, solid connection and ensuring absolute security when you're towing.
When you're done towing, remove the hitch ball by simply pulling the handle out as far as it will go and then rotating it clockwise until it unlatches. Remove the ball and store it until the next time you tow.
Unlike typical gooseneck balls - which have round bases - the Turnoverball hitch ball is designed with a square base. This makes latching the ball in the hitch easier because the base won't rotate inside of the hitch like a round base might, so lining the pin up is a snap.
Simple, Custom Installation
This hitch is custom designed for your vehicle. The included mounting brackets bolt to existing holes in your truck's frame. While some modification is required - you will need to cut a 4" diameter hole in your bed for the hitch ball and drill holes for the built-in safety chain loops - there is no need to weld onto or to drill into your frame.
Once you have the hitch brackets and body installed, set up the operating handle. This handle is designed to be accessed from the rear driver's-side wheel well. On the end of the handle is the heavy-duty steel pin that secures the hitch ball.

This was the second Goose-neck mid bed ball to frame assembly I purchased from etrailer....this was for a V-8 Tundra; the first was for a V-12 dodge 2500; Both were absolutely spot on in terms of Hardware provided; Instructions; and actual holes already in the respective frames to line up to the hitch frame mounting steel; beyond that I got digital brake/level controllers from these guys for the Tundra and it was mint....cannot speak more highly of etrailer to get the stuff you need to haul....its obvious these guys actually get the kit first then see if it fits...on an actual truck...then order and distribute it when it does...10 out of 10 for etrailer

I don't typically leave reviews, but this product earned one. Everything went on exactly how it should with zero issues. The measurement for the hole was perfect. The hardware used was top notch and had no issues torquing to spec. The install was quick, and every step of the way was simple and thought out, and communicated effectively in the instruction pages. VERY impressed with the kit, and how strong everything is. This is going to be a huge help for towing our mules around with the tundra. Big thanks to etrailer for the communication and fast shipping, making sure I could get this installed before mule days!
It works great use it to pull our snowmobile race trailer, very simple to use than when I am done the box is empty and flat
excellent product. "Pretty" easy installation. Followed the video online and it went pretty well. I would certainly buy and install myself again. Great experience ordering and delivered in a timely manner.

Okay until we realized it’s missing 2 bolts!! What a pain considering we live 45 minutes from town. Would be nice if they just sent extras.
It wouldn't fit my truck with air bags, and nothing was said in information or asked? The product is a good, but Etrailer should have a foot note about they won't fit "IF YOU HAVE AIR BAGS". I live close by to them, but Madison H. said you can't return them to the store I would have to UPS them back and pay a 20 percent restocking fee $[XX]. I was going to replace it with the B&W Rail kit and a 18K B&W Patriot Slider 5th Wheel Hitch Kit. I bought it from another trailer Co. with No problems at all. I will be calling to the President of etrailer Michael H Bross and reporting them to the Better Business Bureau of Missouri. (Be sure you ask alot of questions before buying).

What a good buying experience on my B&W gooseneck hitch and towing accessories for my Toyota Tundra. First of all, the pricing was good on all my items. Second, free shipping. Third great customer service and recommendations during the purchase process and then followup at shipping.
Next day I realized that I had forgotten to get a suspension enhancement item I also wanted so called back. No problem, they would add it to my original shipment for just $x.xx extra.
All the items arrived very well packaged. Based on etrailer.com's great videos on 'how to install on YOUR particular vehicle' series, I was able to install all the components myself. I would not have attempted the hitch without that video so I saved a bunch there due to their video's. THANKS etrailer.com!!!
2007 Toyota Tundra DC 6.5' Bed
Follow the instructions. I had the cross-members and cross-member braces turned the wrong way and thought I was in BIG trouble with the hole lining up with the center section. The kit is well put together and has EVERYTHING you need for the install -tools.
Make use of the "Overhead Lifting Device" mentioned in the very beginning. This makes it much easier to get bolts installed in the center section and cross-members. I just tied a rope to the latch pin in the ball socket and wrapped it around a truss in my garage. The heat shield removed in step 2 will not be re-used.
Have a small 1/2" drive drill on hand. My 4" hole-saw and 1/2" bits would not fit in a 3/8" drill chuck. I had to use a ginormous Makita hammer drill which made it more difficult particularly with the 1/2" holes for the safety chain u-bolts.
Would highly recommend this kit. Everything is well built, well documented, and complete.
Great product, the fit was perfect of my 2012 tundra, installation was realativly easy with my sons help. I recommend watching etrailer video couple times that will give you a visual and help speed things up, and when your reading directions you will know exactly what they talking about. I pull a 25 and 5 gooseneck using it.
Installation was straightforward and the instructions/videos very helpful. We then used the hitch to tow a horse through Canada from Idaho to Alaska for a military move. worked like a charm. Still gets use weekly going to various events and have never had a single problem.

Works great. Installation was easy, had a trailer shop drill the hole (cheaper than purchasing the hole saw) and did the rest myself. I drive on muddy roads so I have to take a pressure washer to the pin mechanism every so often or it sticks.
Got the packages in a great amount of time. Got everything I needed to out my b&w hitch and brake controller in. The hitch went in flawless along with the controller. Would def recommend either one to anyone and recommend using this site to buy your trailer or truck needs!
Easy to install. Could do without a lift but it was way easier with the truck in the air. The measurements are spot on for drilling the hole in the bed. I would say that’s the hardest part cutting a hole in the bed. I used a 2x4 and ratchet strap once the hole was cut. I attached it to the mount and held it in place from the top side. I then bolted the kit all together from the under side.
I received the most helpful and greatest customer service one could receive through phone calls and email with what questions i had. The product arrived when it said it would and was undamaged. I wouldn't hesitate to contact etrailer with any questions or order from them again!
This fit my 08 Tundra perfectly. Delivered on time with free shipping. The video was extremely helpful and I got it installed in no time. It isn't a fun process but saved a ton of money from paying a shop. Highly recommend etrailer & the BW gooseneck hitch.
