Best 2022 Jeep Cherokee Roof Racks

I spent a week reading reviews and forums to find the right one for my 2019 Jeep Cherokee that I just bought a few weeks ago. I just have to overthink everything but it paid off. I just received them this morning and installed them myself! First time for everything! It was really easy. The only part that was frustrating was the very first part... sliding the rubber pieces into the crossbars. They would not slide very well so I ended up using a bit of oil to make them slide better. Other than that, installation was easy and quick. I LOVE the looks of them. Very gorgeous!!! Thank you so much!! Very happy with the end result!!

I purchased these for my wife's 2014 Cherokee Trail Hawk along with the legs. etrailer.com sent everything I ordered very quickly. This was a nice surprise. After watching the install video, I was ready to go. These rails are very easy to install. The only thing I didn't like was having to put the rubberized Vortex strips in. This was time consuming and a little bit of a pain in the rear. Overall I the legs attach great and the cross bars are very sturdy. I would definitely recommend them.

I ordered the Malone MPG215 and they arrived in a few days. I was worried that the 50" rails would be to short, the Malone fitment guide said they would be to short and I would need the 58" rails for my 2017 Jeep Cherokee. I didn't want the longer rails to overhang the doors and bang my head. I watched the etrailer install video and they had the shorter rails so I figured it was worth a chance. They arrived completely assembled except for the snap on end caps and the rubber trim for the bottom of the rails. Easy install- take out of the box, unlock the covers, take out the allen keys, loosen up the clamps, put them on the rack, measure for alignment, tighten them up, replace the covers, snap on end caps, measure and cut the rubber trim and install, DONE!!!! It took about a half hour, super easy at half the cost of more expensive rails. The silver rails go good with the factory rack. Over hang is about an inch in the front and two inches in the rear. Now I can take my gear or get some materials at the local home improvement store without fear of how I'm going to get it home. I really appreciate the install videos etrailer provides, makes everything easier.

These are great roof racks. They fit with the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak racks. We used these all summer and I highly recommend them.

These racks did not noticeably increase the wind noise of my car. They look great, complimenting the appearance of my Jeep, and they were quick and easy to install.

Great product and quality, with that said the rear spread numbers were off by a lot and I had to hand figure the distances on the rear posts. This is for a Cherokee sport 2014.

We had them on in about an hour and a half. And the Aero design is great! No whistling or drag, and made it a lot easier to get my SUP around? Would absolutely recommend!

Installation was extremely simple and straight forward. Took me all of 20 minutes and most of that was just making sure the cross bars were exactly parallel. These shipped to my house (just outside of Toronto) in around 4 days with no extra border fees which was fantastic. I only wanted these to strap a canoe onto the roof of my Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk so I didnt need anything too heavy duty or bulky and this fits the bill perfectly.

Worked great. Like the locking cover. Easy install. Easy to remove and put back on.

The cross bars come with the items needed to install them on the mounts. Easy installation and the best part is they don't add much wind noise even at freeway speeds. I've only had them on the car for a day so I'm looking forward to putting them to use

One bar slid out on our first road trip. The "grip" that it slides into can't be adjusted. I am in communication with Yakima about this as Etrailer said that's the route that I would need to go. Very frustrating.

I ordered the Yakima roof rack, with the Hullyrollers for the back crossbar and the Mako saddles for the front crossbar to use with my kayak. It arrived just like they told me and I put them on my car the eveningit arrived. Got to finlly use the roof rack on June 22 to go out kayaking and it worked great. Only thing is I did not know about the air reflector piece for the front crossbar. Now I will be ordering it to help with the wind noise.

Great rack, go on fast, easy to install and work well on my VW TDI wagon. Care has to be given and follow the instructions for the install to what type of rails you have. Works great carrying the VW luggage carrier and plan on using it to carry kayaks as well. Just have not decided what kayak rack type to get yet.

roof racks showed up in great condition, and showed up as one package.... I should have ordered the J racks from here but I found them cheaper locally so Thule J racks compliment the whole setup and i am just about ready to hit the water :)

Free delivery that showed up in 3 days!!! Can't beat it. The crossbars with the Control Towers and LandingPad 9 fit perfectly on my Honda Element. Had them installed in about 30 mins. Don't have my cargo box yet and wanted to test strength, so I had my 110lb wife standing on them with no issues (yes, the car was parked). Plan to take a long camping trip next week with a cargo box on top...wife will be in the vehicle:-)

I got the Malone Roof Rack Crossbars last night and just put them on. First of all, thank you etrailer for such great service. They must have been shipped an hour after I ordered them. They are great and beautiful. They far exceeded my expectations in quality and looks. They look like they belong on the jeep. They were very reasonably priced in my opinion, and I don't know how you could improve them for more money. Definitely 5 stars.

I purchased Malone cross bars to attach a roof tent to my SUV for a road trip to the West and covered 7000 miles, neither the tent or the cross bars moved while on my trip and would recommend them as I would purchase them again and am very happy with them.

Excellent product. Fit my 1996 Jeep Cherokee to a tee. Instructions were simple to follow and very concise. A very fine product that I would recommend to anyone.

This model is not the most stylish and sleek roof rack but its sturdy and made with quality materials. Easy to set up and its even easier to put on the vehicle and take off the vehicle. I only put the rack on my Ford Focus when I go kayaking. Great bang for buck!
