Best 2018 Tesla Model 3 Accessories And Parts

An indispensable item for those who get a tow hitch installed on the Tesla Model3. However I give it 3 stars because somehow sand still gets through. I even taped the hole with black electric tape, shaping it like the rubber edge to seal the gap, but to no avail. Not sure what's going on, but not a deal breaker since the cover does help a lot.

Hitch worked perfectly and wiring did also. Great fitment.

This hitch was a must have so that I could own a Porsche Turbo GT and still have a tow vehicle when needed on rare occasions. I made a replaceable cover between the exhaust pipes and hid the plug behind a hinged license plate. I then used stainless steel shackles to help facilitate connection of the safety chains. Had to remove bumper for install, but it was well worth it. Just keep the OEM bumper as it will be needed if you sell the vehicle to make it a certified pre-owned (CPO).

I just used the SAR031 insert for my Areo ArcHaus Tailgate Tent! I am very happy with the product. I had been using the Areo Tent on the back of my Dodge Caravan, but this time I wanted to use it as a stand alone. The design was very simple. Once you have the ArcHaus up, the screened-in room with floor went up in minutes. I held off staking until until I had tensioned and positioned where I wanted it. The netting was the right size, small enough for bugs but allowed a breeze through. Zippers worked well. I did not attach any of the side panels that came with the ArcHaus because the weather was ideal. You can if you would like to use them for the additional weather/ privacy. The only feature I missed was the ability to hang my Lucy Lantern.

These little brackets were super simple, and rather expensive; so simple and expensive that I wanted to make them myself... but I didn't, I bought them... then, it took forever for them to arrive... but I waited, and waited... and waited, for months if I recall correctly, but they did arrive, and I did install them and they worked great. hopefully they fixed they supply problem. These were used to move/position a box for the electrical for my trailer lights- these were needed because I was installing a hitch on a hybrid Pacifica; a trailer hitch is not recommended for the hybrid, but i am trying it anyway, pulling a small sailboat.

The order came quicker than anticipated. I installed chains just before snow storm. Unfortunately the chain tensioners( said 99 LT on package, words fits all passenger and mini van was crossed out in black marker) were too small to use correctly even though it said good for 17 inch rims. One broke when I tried to install it. Rigged chains up with some tensioners I already had and the chains worked beautifully . I looked at your video online after the fact and wound up ordering the recommended TCMA2 tensioners today. Hopefully they will fit.

We ordered these tensioners with a set of Pewag square link, mud service heavy duty chains appropriately sized for our 315/75R16 tires. Those tires have a tall sidewall and so I opted for the tensioners listed for 16 to 20" wheels. However, with those chains and tall sidewalls of our tires, these tensioners lack sufficient reach to get more than three hooks attached to the chains (photo). If you're planning on using these tensioners on a tire with a tall sidewall and a chain that doesn't extend down the sidewall very far (as ours), I recommend mounting the chains and then measuring the diameter of the circle inside the side chains. Call Etrailer with that measurement and see if they can set you up with a tensioner that will fit. Our ordering experience with Etrailer was great - prompt shipping and compassionate customer service when I explained the problem mentioned above.

Simple solution for a low profile mount

Added these to my Inno BRM660 roof box for a quieter ride. The Inno t-slot inserts worked in my Thule Aero bars easily. My only complaint is that in order to maximize storage space, the strap loops must be mounted to the outside, which causes extra friction on the strap, making it slightly more difficult to tighten easily. This is a very minor problem, but the only one I can come up with. The extra quiet is worth the extra effort.

Had to have it for 12 mm through axel fork. The rack creats no wind noise what so ever. I believe it’s going to be a good one.

This strap is easy to use and I appreciate the peace of mind I have while driving knowing there is extra support of my hitch mounted bike rack. The Velcro fastener makes it easy to bundle the strap’s “tail” so it doesn’t drag while driving.

Thanks for the great video on installing the 7 pin adapter (ETBC7L). The video was even on a Toyota Grand Highlander - my exact vehicle. I didn't like how low the video installed the Part# 18136 "no drill long bracket" I also ordered, so I made a few bends to this bracket to integrate it more into the the lower molding. This raised it up another inch or so compared to your video. You can see the height difference in the screen grabs of your install versus mine. Bottom line, you can use this bracket to fabricate for you unique situation. It still shocks me that Toyota did not include a 7pin adapter, but thanks to etrailer for finding me an alternative.

This is a nice kit and I lucked out in that my car was used in an installation video making it pretty easy for me to install it. It works well. I did need to fabricate a mount for it though or would have had to order a extension mount kit that I didn't know I needed when I ordered the kit. It all worked out fine in the end and worked great towing my new trailer about 2500 miles in the few weeks since installing the kit. The reason for only three stars is the price. 4x what some competitor kits cost. The things that bothered me the most is seen in the picture I've attached. How can you charge $117 for the kit and use screws that are visible to anyone looking that rust after three weeks? After taking this picture I went to the local hardware store and bought some stainless screws and locking nuts. They will look perfect as long as I own the van. A little more thought and a few $s in better hardware and this would be a 4 or 5 star review.

My package didn’t come with the mounting screws but I still got it mounted securely using two self-tapping screws I had available. I drilled them into the plastic surround near the vehicle bumper, and it worked just fine

I purchased this item with my trailer hitch. This product is very sturdy, easy to install and made of good strong material. My 4-way plug fits perfectly and is held tightly by the bracket, also it came with bolts and nuts to secure bracket to the hitch.

The product is exactly what I was looking for and was relatively easy to find. It was shipped to me faster than expected and came exactly as advertised. Etrailer will likely be where I get my replacement ski rack parts for as long as i need them!

All the hooks had to small of a gap to hook on my chains. After spreading the gap to fit I went to put them on and the rubber snapped in two before I could hook the opposite side. Absolute junk. 2024 Hyundai Palisade.

Excellent quality. Excellent instructions. It is now the second set we ordered for two differenct cars and each fitted perfectly, looks and works great.

As I have indicated in a prior review, the whole thing is a big gimmick. Yes, the hitch is hidden, but that is really the only benefit. It's hard to use, comes with a mediocre wiring harness kit for the car, and overall you can get spare parts, but they cost time and money. The whole reason I needed to buy a second stealth hitch receiver is because I lost the first and it is totally proprietary. Overall, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Stick to the standard square mount receiver.

Solid. This paired with the Stealth Rack Receiver kit is a very nice setup.

Lets be honest, is this case needed? Of course not, however it is excellent to have and best for storage for the receiver and the keys so you are not on the hunt for them. Keep it all together in the back or your vehicle and you know where it is at all times.

Super-high quality. Easy to take on and off. Rock-solid towing. And NO ugly hitch showing behind my car. Worth every penny I paid!
