Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
Perfect fit and really easy when changing springs at the same time.
As most have indicated fitting the bags in the springs is the hardest part. one tip I found helpful was once the bag was partially in, force the bottom of the bag with the air tube into the center of the spring then slowly let the air go back into the bag. Once it had some air in it i was able to move it around and get into place. once installed at 20 psi it raised my back end two inched. from 35" to 37" It is now level with the front of the vehicle. my vehicle is a 2015 armada platinum. Yes it has the auto leveling system. But the system wasn't functional. I've used these before in a 2010 armada platinum and it worked out great

Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System
Nissan Armada. Only about 1/2" longer than original design. Once loaded, still squatted rear suspension like it did before installation. Not worth the high price.
Excellent product. Easy to install. Heavier duty than the OEM's.

Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System
When I installed these on my 2015 Nissan frontier sv, the bump stops did not sit square with the top plate, but at an angle I wasn't sure how this would effect travel of the timbrens or the function. Not sure if others have same issue or not. Long story short, this positioning caused excessive stress on the mountingnut location and tore at the bottom right next to the mounting bolt. Timbren was contacted and a replacement was sent free of charge. Excellent customer service- friendly, great attitude to help me out. Performance - handles larger bumps/dips better but smaller ones are felt more. Stiffens up front, notice wind gust influence substantially less. Do feel performance has diminished after a year. Upgrading shocks/coils for lift and better ride. May remove timbrens altogether. Someone with a plow would appreciate these more.
Here is my install on my 2WD Ford Explorer front. Easy job, I don't recommend installing these with lowers suspension as the ride is too harsh, I adjust mine back to stock. Works the way I need them to.

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
These Sumo Springs were easy to install, even for a 70 year old guy. I tow a 7,000lb camper and even tho I have a nice WDH I still had som sag on my Tundra. These helped level it out when towing and got rid of “some” of the bounce. They were really a godsend when I overloaded the bed with about 2,000lbs of pavers. That weight squished the Sumos significantly but the truck drove and rode great. Better and less expensive than air bags.
Pros: Easy install Drastically helps with sag when towing trailers Cons: Things feel more bouncy in the back when not loaded They get hard as a rock in freezing temperatures (i.e. 15*F = no rear suspension) No option to unscrew the spring and replace with bump stop for the winter (at least that I can find, tell me if they make one).

Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs - Rear
The Air lift system worked well until this spring when I noticed them going flat every few days. I can hear a very slow hiss coming from the top of the air bag above the coil spring when I refill them and it will be a real chore to get at. There is either a split in the airbag near the top or the hose is cracked or broken. This is my second set in 5 years and the first set performed flawlessly until chaffing from dust and sand on the coil wore a hole in it. I'm not as spry as I used to be so getting that air bag out is too much of a chore at my age. I think this will be the last set I buy as the quality seems to have gone down a bit.
Ordered the product on Sunday night and received the product a few days later. Etrailer's link to UPS tracking let me know exactly when I could expect the product. So far the air helper springs are working as advertised. Installation was quick at less than 2 hours and the springs are providing the additional support I need to tow my 24' boat

Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs - Rear
These are difficult to install and failed to deflate after one use. What we found is that he air hoses above the air bags are just narrow enough to pass through protective rubber hole liners that are provided with the kit. The hose catches and kinks which then prevented the air bags from deflating. I had to have my mechanic dissemble the entire set up and customize the hole for the hose and add a custom liner for the hole to prevent the problem. The installation, plus modification cost me more than the cost of the airlift product. My mechanic had installed these types of air bags on several other vehicles. In fact, it was the mechanic who recommended a suspension airbag system for my Dodge Grand Caravan minivan after I attached a trailer hitch with cargo carrier. It's a great idea, but this product version is not designed for trouble-free use.
I like this system it makes our van safer when we are loaded and headed to the lake. Thank you!

Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs - Rear
I purchased this product for some additional support for our Hummer H2 when we are towing our travel trailer. I removed the springs for easier installation of each bag. I am 66 years old and total time from start to completion was 3 1/2 hours from set up to clean up !
Put these on 07 tahoe. I pull a camper and put 400lbs of tools in back of tahoe. With just the tools I noticed it help put more weight on front wheels. I have not pulled camper yet but with just the minimum 5lbs of pressure it helped with the tools. It took me about 4 hrs to install by myself on the ground. The hardest part was getting it pushed into the coil springs. I ended up using a ratchet strap to help push it in. It was fun trying to get the hose connected afterward, could not see, had to feel and take a picture to make sure it was fully seated.

Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
Great as always, this is my second Firestone Coil-Rite. I had one on my crown vic before and they work great, pretty straight forward install. If you’re lazy like me and didn’t want to remove the shocks then use wd40 to help slip it in between
Exactly what I needed, work great, Thank You etrailer.com!

Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle
Kit is complete. Instructions are good, but you need to read them threw a couple of times for your application. Installation went well and done in a couple of hours. All parts are great quality!!! Will be installing more kits in the future.
First off, I was surprised at how soon it arrived. I was also impressed that it truely was a Firestone product, through and through. I have not installed it yet, but all of the items, brackets, hardware, tubing seem first rate. The brackets were heavier duty than what I was expecting. The air bags are smaller versions of what is used on semi-truck and trailers. (I'm a retired fleet mechanic.) I'm excited to begin installing in the morning!

Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
Excellent material and the installation instructions were very clear and to the point with the best pictures that coincided with the written material. Only took me 2.5 hours from the start of assembling the air bags with the hardware on the workbench to putting away my tools! This is on my '04 dodge 3500 dually that will be handling my new Host Mammoth Slide in Camper that will set at apprx. 5000 lbs.! Beautiful to maintain level truck and to know that the springs are not collapsed and wearing them down prematurely as well as providing a safe handling truck when on the road.
This is a great system that is pretty easy to install for the average garage mechanic. Installed on a 2018 Ram Mega Cab with 6.7. 30 PSI in the bags and it eliminates the squat when pulling my fifth wheel. One year in and still works great with no air loss from week to week. In my opinion upgrading to the braided lines was just inexpensive insurance.

Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System
got them on in about 30 minutes, just wanted to keep the front end down while pulling the boat. I think this was a great anwser for that. Plus easier on the springs and shocks. Thanks again guys.
I did not notice much/any improvement in ride. I went on to install adjustable shocks, then a Shocker hitch, and finally a ProPride hitch.

SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle
The sumo springs we easy to install. I would recommend that you include removing both rear tires, it makes the installation so much easier. It can all be done sitting on your mechanics roll around seat.
Install was ease. No problems at all. At first I didn't know which springs would work so I sent a text to support and they helped me out. Excellent service got my springs 2 days early also.

Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
Installed on a 2016 4Runner in conjunction with a 1-1/2" Daystar coil spring spacer. Since the coil spacer is hollow, I left one segment of the factory bump stop in place to compensate for and match the height of the spacer. I also added a Firestone T-fitting on the airline for a single inflation point and located the inflation valve next to my trailer plug wiring. Quite a pain to wrestle the coil back in place with the added height of the spacer, but that is no fault of the airbags; pry bar proved critical to wedge the coil back in place since I did not try the bottle jack between the frame and axle trick. After nearly a year, no leaks, bags hold air well. I put 25 psi in them for towing our travel trailer, or keep them at 10 psi for normal running around. I have also found them useful to prevent or at least reduce bottoming out the soft rear suspension that happens when off road driving with even just a couple hundred pounds in the back. Even at 25 psi they ride great and you wouldn't know they are back there at 10 psi. Highly recommend for the low cost and added versatility!
Install was easy on 2014 FJ Cruiser...pulled the wheels off, jacked it up a bit, and the axle dropped enough to allow room to fit the bags inside the springs. I will see how they perform when I hook up my trailer but they inflate quickly and I can see these will stop my vehicle from squatting when the cargo area and trailer are heavily loaded. Another excellent product offered by etrailer...thanks.

Timbren Suspension Enhancement System - Rear Axle
Pictures attached are from my 2020 Titan RWD (2wd) with OEM bump stops that were attached at the top frame above the rear springs and facing downward. These were very difficult to order and get the correct ones from the etrailer web site, however the etrailer representative was very understanding and did research to get me the correct item.
Timbren operats flawless. About an inch of clearance after installation. Installing these on my 2018 Titan pro4x (non XD) was not a bolt on installation. The hardware provided was not the same that I took out of my truck. I had to tap the nut in the frame starting with a M8-1.25, Then tap using M9-1.25, then finish off using M10-1.5. The bolt provided did not have enough thread on it (timbren was not tight to the frame), so I made an additional 1 inch of thread to the bolt, then everything went together smoothly. Ride is just like factory, until the 1 inch gap closes. I am still happy with the timbrens despite installation.

Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle
I FIT THESE ON A NISSAN NV 3500. IT TOOK SOME WELDING ( THERE IS NOT A MODEL FOR THESE BUT MY MECHANIC KNEW HE COULD MAKE IT FIT). THEY ARE GREAT!! YOU CANT OVER LOAD THE TRUCK I KEEP IT AT 70 PSI. I ALSO FITTED AN ELECTRIC COMPRESSOR AND AN ADJUSTABLE 1/4 INCH REGULATOR AND DONT NEED ANY ADJUSTMENT.
Easy install great fit. Put them on our 04 E450 rv that we take to Old Mexico twice a year on some hideous roads. They’re worth every penny and rides so much better.

Air Lift 1000 Heavy Duty Air Helper Springs for Coil Springs - Rear
I bought a 2024 Ram 1500 4x4 and I tow a grand design Imagine 28’ and weights in at 6300 lbs. plus by time we load up the truck with other things like wood for camping, I make sure that I but the air lift to its max and OMG how nice it goes down the road nice and level. Great product!!!! My friends that camp with us, I have a group of six campers and after they saw what the bags did for me they all bought them. So thanks again and I still push the bags to who needs them. New sales man.
Bought these airbags for my 2014 ram 1500 for towing my camper and hauling wood pellets. They work excellent and make for a much more comfortable ride towing a tongue heavy trailer or with a ton of pellets on the truck. Will buy again when this set goes bad.

Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle
This the 3rd truck I've used and installed myself of the Firestone 5,000lb rated airbags on, and not one has ever failed on me. I used them on a 2007.5 Chevy LMM 2500 LT Silverado, a 2020 Chevy 2500 LTZ Silverado, and yesterday I put them on my 2025 GMC 2500 Denali. I did pair my new bags with an Airlift wireless compressor, which is an awesome addition to the bags. I like the fact that etrailer did a comparison video on the Firestone and AirLift bags, and they found the Firestone bags are of better quality and can support the weight of the axle if you lift the truck off the ground by the frame. If you have never installed these bags, you do not have to lift the truck off the ground or remove your rear tires. If you're like me, and do not have access to a lift, I suggest removing your spare tire, which will give you more seating area, and you will not bonk your head into it. Two thumbs up on this kit
The installation was pretty straightforward, and was managed at campsite with basic tools. It is filled with Milwaukee portable air inflator and has been keeping air pressure set at. We have had good use of it to level truck after loading 5th wheel. I elected to not join both lines together so I can keep individual air pressure in case one had leak but has been fine, I might join them with optional part etrailer offered. After 1 year and 8,000 miles has been great purchase. All bolt on, no holes to drill, I even placed fill valves in license plate to conceal installation. Alex at etrailer was excellent as helping us find the correct kit and shipping promptly with great communication and follow up.
