2017 Jeep CherokeeSeems like a good product, do not like that I cannot use my rear window wiper and if tail gate door on my 2017 Jeep Cherokee is open too long the weight of the rack comes down, which it did on my head. It was pretty easy to install and take off.I would recommend to someone else.

The product was very easy to install. I had it done in less than 30 minutes from start to finish. The system is very sturdy and functions as designed. The only comment I would improve is the ability to remove the carrier from the trailer hitch without having to carry a 3/4 inch wrench with you.
This bike rack has been perfect for a college student. She leaves it on her Cherokee year-round, it's easy to get the bike on and off, and she's been very satisfied with the rack.

I have a 2017 Acura RDX. I had to be creative for the hooks and straps to work. The lower strap hook is not compatible with my hatch. And I really didn't want to have them hook under my plastic bumper, so I shut the straps in the hatch and hooked them to 2 hooks I have in the trunk. Works perfect. A picture is attached. I have a Cannondale Bad Girl, which is the dumbest bike ever designed ( but that is a different review forum) so I had to be creative getting it mounted like I usually do. Works great. The only reason I gave this a 4 star is because I don't believe the hooks are really compatible with the RDX, unless you have an awesome spouse willing to get shut in the trunk and place the hooks for you while you tighten from the outside. etrailer.com has the best customer service I have dealt with in a while. Fantastic crew!

Great product and service to match! Ordering on the website was a breeze, with recommendations for my particular vehicle and many images and videos to aid in selection and installation. I returned a different hitch to a big box store due to subpar quality and ordered this one instead. I am very pleased with my purchase and the experience.
Works for my fat tire bike. Once it's set up, it's easy to install and remove. I had to cut out some of the plastic cladding on the underside of my bumper on my 2014 Subaru Outback. Good value. I've had no issues.

Swagman Upright Bike Rack for 1 Bike - Roof Rack Crossbars - Frame Mount
I had 2 of this rack previously for my '99 Cherokee. The fit on my std roof rack is excellent, quick, secure. My bikes ride well. The locking upright support is a little tight on my Raleigh but with a little effort you can open the jaws and get it on. A more serious biker may prefer a rack that fork mounts. I like the ease of unloading and going.
Great product for the price. Pretty easy to set up. Only issue I have is my mountain bike, which is an XL frame with 27 inch wheels, is pushing the limits of the base. Wish this rack was just 4-5 inches longer that way you have the perfect overlap amount in the middle without pushing the current frame to the limits. With that said it does hold my bike just have to find the sweet spot. But this fits my son’s youth bike perfectly!

Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Seems like a good rack for the price, especially when compared to others with the same weight rating. It was very easy to assemble, just a few bolts and that's it. I put two 62lb e-bikes on it (Ride1Up Turris) and it has minimal wobble and movement as expected. The straps that come on the center cradles were too short to go around our bike's frame and battery so I had to purchase a separate set of long straps from Saris for an additional $20. So be aware if you have an e-bike with a fat frame where you plan to use the cradle on, you might have to spend another $20 on a pair of long straps. While I waited for the straps I just used a velcro-strap and it worked fine. So far I am content with this rack overall and hope it lasts many years.. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I had to purchase additional straps to make it work.
I had to put my electric bikes into this rack, backwards, to make them fit. Not ideal, but it works.The receiving 'trays' that are intended to provide support for holding the bikes, by being placed under the bike tires, are forced to be moved to a location that is not directly under the bottom of the bike tires. While it works in this manner, it is not ideal.For the support that attaches to the diagonal bike frame, we had to remove it from the vertical rail of the rack. We reinstalled it, upside down, because that's the only way we could make it fit, or 'grab', the bike frame. Again, we made it work, but it's not ideal. We chose to keep the rack because it was so much less expensive than the Thule rack we considered buying. The bike shop owner didn't agree with us. He observed that we are putting $3000 worth of bikes on the rack and risking that investment. So far, no problems, other than the ill-fitting installation.

Great rack! Fits the receiver on my '22 Outback perfectly. My bike(s) ride stable and secure. I also have a Specialized e-bike that weighs 36 lbs., and the rack handles the weight just fine.

Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
Got it delivered yesterday. Opened the box and it was fully assembled. All i had to do was open the box and set it into the hitch. Got it all setup within a couple of minutes (i drive a 16' Cherokee TH). Putting the bikes on and off was easy enough. Came across one issue during bike placement. My girlfriends bike is either oddly shaped or pretty small framed because i had trouble finding the right configuration for the strap to hold the bike without swaying. I also tried putting hers on first and that was difficult trying to get her bike to pass all of the straps and guide holders. Overall pretty satisfied with the product itself. Not much, if any at all, sway on the rack.
This is a very solid product! I have used it for over a year now and love it! I have had up to 3 bikes on this without a problem and have traveled over 8 hours in the car one way with absolutely no issues. Many other bike racks like this one that I see on other cars look unstable this is not unstable in anyway. I did have to file some of the paint off of the rack to get it to fit in my 1 and 1/4" hitch but once that was done it has been perfect. I also bought the locking hitch bolt which is awesome too.

Yakima HoldUp Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount

Works well for transporting two 29" wheeled mountain bikes. However, after one year it's starting to rust in several areas (see attached photos), and the front wheel arms are becoming increasingly difficult to raise and lower. Finally the locking cable is extremely rusty as you can see in the attached photo. I'm not sure how durable this rack will be long term.

Now if you're looking a way of getting a multitude of bikes to the trailhead, hanging styles are definitely gonna be a great option for yourself. Things to keep in mind though, we are gonna start seeing a lot more sway on our bikes because we're only having these dual arm support system which is gonna do a really good job of making sure our bike isn't tilting side to side but because of our frame mounts and our frame is circular you are gonna get just a little bit of sway as we are go down the road. Now the BackRoad does have a lot of techniques to combat that sway. The biggest one being for me is we are getting seven inch spreads on each of our channel mounts here.

So, if you're looking for a really solid platform-style rack to get two bikes to and fro, this is gonna be a good one. It looks good and it's nice and solid, but we will be able to add on to this, and make it a four-bike rack. Currently, it's about 60 pounds per bike, but if we do have that add-on, it's gonna be about 40 pounds per bike. But as it is right now, we can use our fat tire bikes and e-bikes, because of the weight capacity.
