24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Good and strong cargo carrier. I have hauled close to the 500lb limit, and it doesn't even flex. I strongly recommend some extra ratchet straps between rack and vehicle, just to remove any wiggle from play in the hitch.
Very easy to put together and it worked great!

24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
This is a heavy-duty carrier; it comes in two sections that need to be bolted together and bolted to the 2" shank. Each section is welded together and very stout; I needed to hammer in one of the plate bolts because the alignment was just a bit off. This thing is all steel, meaning it is heavy. I also purchased an anti-rattle bolt/plate which reduces a lot of the flex, though it still moves around. This will be a great addition to the truck when carrying a truck camper.

Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 47" Long x 35" Wide - 165 lbs
This rack is very well built! Steel is heavy duty and there is no rattle or flex at all. After I installed it I was able to pull on it and shook my whole jeep but the rack didn't budge.
Really great product. Sturdy, easy to install.

Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Matte Black
This was purchased off of the etrailer.com website as a "damaged" item at a significantly reduced price. The description on the website described the damage very well and the cargo box has no functional issues of any kind. Also, the cargo box arrived much earlier than I anticipated. Furthermore, when I noticed that the box arrived with the load securing straps missing I emailed etrailer customer support and they had Thule send me two new ones right away. Couldn't be more pleased with etrailer and this cargo box. It fits my 2014 Honda CRV with factory crossbars with just a little bit of rear hatch interference (restricts opening by maybe an inch or two, but can still fully use the rear hatch). Can't speak to durability quite yet as I've only used the cargo box a few times to transport skis and snowboard and plan to use it year-round for road trips. A really great, simple cargo box!
This was a much needed addition for a drive back to Tucson, AZ from a three month stay in Portland. ME, as we had acquired some extra things and needed more space than our 2015 Honda CRV provided. This fit on top of the rhino vortex aero roof rack I also purchased from e-trailer perfectly. The cargo box functioned as expected, and although we ultimately could have used a slightly larger cargo box, this one worked great for giving us extra space in our car for the drive home. It was easy to mount and opened easily, although it was a bit tricky to load, a step ladder would have helped. It was tough to close, we had to move some stuff around to get it to latch, but I appreciated that it would not lock unless the latches could fully engage, which made me feel like it was going to remain closed while traveling. We wasted no time putting stickers on it, and added more along the drive home, which was fun. We traveled through many different types of weather, it was late spring and was rainy in the beginning of our trip, and very hot towards the end of our trip, and the contents were in perfect condition when we arrived home. There was zero water damage inside, and nothing was damaged from being in the heat. Of course there was some reduced gas mileage and added road noise when traveling, but nothing too unbearable. Also, service and shipping from etrailer was excellent.

Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 57" Long x 42" Wide - 165 lbs
Great product. Great quality. Instructions not real clear, so took me a couple of hours to assemble. Then another 15-20 minutes to secure to roof racks. I was working alone, extra hands would have helped. But extremely happy with quality and looks of product. We have lots of family that visit us, so I plan to carry luggage on the rack to free up space inside the vehicle on trips to and from the airport.
Love it! It's big enough to fit a bike carrier and a cargo bag on top of my MINI. Easy to assemble and install, solid construction. Great value for your money. If I have a gripe it's that the wind fairing on the front is VERY thin/fragile. I caught it with my bike tire when loading one day and the corner snapped right off like nothing. It's only about $XXX for the replacement.

20 x 59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
We have a 2011 Ford Flex and bought this Railed Cargo Carrier along with the Highland Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier Bag for our trip to the beach which took 4 1/2 hours one way. It held the luggage of 6 people with ease. The cargo carrier itself was solid, sturdy and we never had issues with it moving while driving. I liked the fact that it was out and above the exhaust pipe of the Flex. The cargo bag was definitely heavy duty and although we never had rain, it would have been rainproof for sure! The wife and I most definitely recommend these two items....worth every penny!!

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 64-1/2" Long x 39" Wide x 7-1/4" Tall - 150 lbs
I love the rack and the extended length is great on my Sequoia. I am disappointed with the finish on it as the connector plates are already showing signs of rust….. I like it enough that I’m going to repaint it with something more suited to our climate…
The rack and extension arrived in sturdy boxes, well packed and no damage in shipping. The parts fit together easily. The welds left something to be desired, which is why I gave it only 4 stars. As a precaution against corrosion,I got some plasti-dip, which is a rubberized vinyl sealant and sealed all the places where moisture could get into the various tubes of the rack. I was satisfied with the quality of the powder coating on all the parts. The mounting system to the roof rack is interesting and appears well-designed. The assembly and installation instructions are OK, but could have been written better. For example, there is an extra tightening knob for the U-bolts, but no description if it is there as a spare.

20x59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs
The C18153 performed flawlessly on our trip from NJ to FL. I chose this model because the exhaust on my Ford Flex is right in line with my hitch and the offset allowed my cargo to sit 2-3 inches above the exhaust to avoid any additional heat. The tray also sat far enough out so that I could open my back hatch without any interference of about 24" (height) of cargo. The fold up is a nice feature too. The modifications I made were the addition of a lighting kit from Tractor Supply and I plugged up all openings in the tube steel with duct seal to prevent the invitation of corrosion from the weather we experienced. I also drilled and tapped it for my license plate so that it was visible. I would definitely recommend this carrier. Service was great as well with shipment tracking. Arrived a day earlier than promised. Thank you.
This is our second purchase from this company and we could not be more pleased with the items purchased. We first purchased the Draw-Tite Max frame trailer hitch, item #75679. The purchase was simple and the video was of great help when it came to installing. We pulled a U-Haul with our Ford Flex to move our daughter to college and it could not have worked out better. The hitch was solid and we love the way it is tucked out of the way to save on the shins when loading or unloading. We were so pleased, that when we returned, we purchased the fold away cargo carrier that was recommended as well. We have no doubt it will work great to have the extra room available in the car for trips. The shipping on both items were super fast and we highly recommend this company to everyone that is in the market for great quality and service. We look forward to passing along to our friends and family high recommendations as well. Thank you e-trailer.com.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 41-1/2" Long x 37" Wide x 4" Deep - 150 lbs
Very durable basket, and fairly easy to install. It's definitely transformed the look and practicality of our little SUV.
I am very pleased with the quality for the price.Just the right size for my 2017 Chevy Trax.the "U" bolts that are used to clamp the basket to the roof cross bars were a bit long so I cut them shorter & installed rubber caps on top of each stud. This keeps the studs from damaging items in the bssket.See pictures.

Thule Force XT L Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Black AeroSkin
The box is great, kept everything dry. No noise or rattle. Dont skimp out on a good set of rack bars. Easy install. Made it 3000 miles up the AlCan highway.
We love our new Thule Force XT Rooftop Cargo Boxes and can’t wait for our next trip. Opens from both sides, well designed! Recommend you attach the straps before putting it on top of vehicle.

Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket - Steel - 69" x 40" x 6" - 150 lbs
I’ve got several 1400+ mile trips with this on both a 2017 4Runner and a 2023 Kia Sportage. The basket is well made, easy to install, very solid and so far rust free.

Surco Safari Rack 5.0 Rooftop Cargo Basket for Thule Roof Racks - 84" Long x 50" Wide
I've had this rack on my 1995 Grand Cherokee and it's still great. Paint has finally started peeling but count the years to 2018 and it's been at 6000 feet in sun all that time! These roof racks by Surco are the impossible combination; light and sturdy. This longer version is going on my 4x4 full size expedition Van. The box arrived quickly, and it's a precision fit together. However, like all roof rack baskets, they show a set of floor slats that are not part of the kit and no disclaimer about it. Just because the others are doing that sort of misleading marketing doesn't mean they have to. I would like more floor options, like a chain link fence which could be rolled for easy shipping or expanded metal. I would also like color options, I need this one in white, so I'll have to paint it. etrailer got right on this order and it arrived earlier than I expected.

24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Tilting - Folding - 500 lbs
Super disappointed in this etrailer purchase. The product came in a large box that was fully intact and not damaged. The actual cargo basket was meticulously wrapped and appeared to be brand new as expected. The other components however, like the arm, were in boxes that were smashed, old, worn, and had multiple layers of old tape. The arm itself was scratched and banged up, even rusty in spots. Clearly it was used or had been a returned item. If I wanted a dented, gouged, and rusty Cargo Carrier I would have purchased one used, for half the price. This is not the quality I expect from etrailer.. I have purchased many racks and other items from this company and usually the quality is outstanding. This time they dropped the ball. I have since read other reviews and it is apparent that this is not an isolated incident. I'd have sent it back if it wasn't so damn heavy and awkward to lug around.
This carrier worked out great. The tilt down feature is helpful to have but I didn't really need it. However, the fold up feature was helpful when driving around, so I recommend that as a convenience. The only thing I had trouble with was the hitch bolt. I have a Thule bike rack that I've used with my truck hitch receiver and never had a problem, but this rack's hitch bolt was a real pain to get in at first. Don't be dismayed. With the rack off of the vehicle, I used some WD-40 and some lithium grease on the bolt and then used an adjustable wrench to screw it in and out a number of times. I noticed a bunch of either paint or metal shards gumming up the threads on the bolt each time I removed it. After about 5 times of screwing it in and out, wiping off the bolt with a towel, adding some more grease once in a while, it got to the point that I could screw it in and out by hand pretty easily. Problem solved. I'm really happy with this rack. It fit two big coolers of food and beer plus beach umbrellas and other stuff. It's really strong and sturdy. The biggest issue was not the weight on the rack, but whether the rear suspension on the Highlander could hold it with our other junk in the back plus passengers. :-)

Malone Cargo16 Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 Cubic ft - Gray
Pro: This box is a perfect option to add to the cargo capacity of my Toyota RAV4. Great for camping, fishing or skiing trips (but watch out that your XC skies don't exceed the length capacity of the box!). Pro: The box fits onto Malone cross bars very securely: once screwed down it's solid. Install and removal is very easy. Con: The front arm that holds the box lid open is attached with a rubber-covered pin at the front, and a metal retainer at the rear, see photos. Without the locking metal retainer, the front arm pops loose off the lid's pin. Initially I thought this was a mfg defect, but this is how it's built. etrailer contacted Malone and both provided great support. Malone sent me a new rubber grommet to insert on the pin at the front arm. But that didn't fix the problem at all. In the end, I replaced the rubber grommet with a metal bolt that permanently attaches the front support arm with the box lid. Would I buy this product again? Probably not.
We received our Malone Cargo Box and are very happy with it. It was installed on a 2016 Subaru Outback. For us, it holds two complete sets of golf clubs, golf shoes, balls, a bag of miscellaneous tie downs, and a small metal carrying case with wheels. We haven't used it on a long trip yet, but locally it's very stable. There is some strong wind noise when the sunroof is open. We also needed to use shims on the rear crossbar to prevent the pod from hitting the antenna. You can access this Box from either side which is nice. Overall we're happy with our purchase.

23x59 Stromberg Carlson Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Carrier and box will be moved to hitch on 209 Solitude Rv to provide extra cargo carrying ability
A good size and very strong. I like the fact that it has a grated bottom, as opposed to a few bars like many of its competitors. There are many holes and notches present for any customization desired. Also makes for a great chair to relax. I also ordered the anti-rattle pin so as to fasten this tightly to the hitch. IMO that should be included with any of these trailer-hitch-Mount accessories.

Yakima MegaWarrior Large Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 52" Long x 48" Wide
The MegaWarrior is a great Roof Rack. The only thing I didn’t like was the fit to the roof rails. My rails that I purchased from you are shaped like aircraft wings and the basket clamps seem to be designed for round rails. However I was able to complete the attachment and the rack remained secure for a 2,000 mile trip.
Took a few months to get because covid-19 slowed production but worth the wait. It's awsome

Yakima MegaWarrior Extra Large Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 74" Long x 48" Wide
Roof rack arrived dented and scratched which complicated the installation because I had to hammer out dents to get the pipes to fit. Apart from that, the paint/coating scratches off fairly easily and the installation design is pretty awful. Instead of threading the pipe to accept screws they have this complicated plastic gasket mechanism which takes forever to align. I expected more from Yakima and for the price. Quick delivery from etrailer and good fit overall-- just need to wait and see about rust.
Initial quality was excellent and assembly a snap. Finding a roof basket that wouldn't look like a tiny hat on a Jeep Commander was difficult, but the MegaWarrior is perfect! Assembly and mounting took less than an hour and it looks great. Now it just needs to be outfitted with a set of off-road lights. ;-)

20x47 Reese Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" Hitches - Steel - 300 lbs
I received this carrier promptly after ordering by phone. The representative was cordial and knowledgable of product. My order arrived on schedule and in good condition. Assembly required about 15 minutes and was not complicated. I have not used the carrier, but did mount it on my Jeep Patriot. The construction was solid with good welds and paint. I stood in the basket and shifted my weight ( 180 lbs ) ; there was minimal flex and all connections remained solid. If purchasing this unit, it should be noted that the corners are rounded and the inside dimensions will not accomodate a rigid box of the same dimensions, and instalation of light package will also reduce inside dimentions. I am very pleased with this carrier and recomend it highly.
Good and strong cargo carrier. I have hauled close to the 500lb limit, and it doesn't even flex. I strongly recommend some extra ratchet straps between rack and vehicle, just to remove any wiggle from play in the hitch.
What our customers are saying:
"This is the BEST Cargo Carrier I have ever seen - from engineering to looks to capacity. It exemplifies the old addage the you get what you pay for.. You guys were a pleasure to deal with in this transaction. Your follow-up emails on status of the delivery were much appreciated - and very professional. Keep up the good work!"
