I was looking for a safe and sturdy cargo carrier for all that excess tailgating gear. This is perfect and holds a heap of gear. Installed on 2018 Sienna. Sturdy and well built. Purchased this cargo basket for our upcoming trip to Florida (1500 miles). I'm able to get (4) full-size suitcases lying on their sides within the frame rails. Plenty of storage, very pleased.
The cargo carrier has worked very well for us. Assembly was easy. With the hitch receiver adapter we purchased and installed, our Toyota Sienna minivan's back hatch door can open without interference from the cargo carrier, and more importantly, I have room to stand on the ground in between the carrier and the minivan. This was important to me so I could step up onto the van's rear bumper to reach our rooftop tent.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 64-1/2" Long x 39" Wide x 7-1/4" Tall - 150 lbs
I love the rack and the extended length is great on my Sequoia. I am disappointed with the finish on it as the connector plates are already showing signs of rust….. I like it enough that I’m going to repaint it with something more suited to our climate…
The rack and extension arrived in sturdy boxes, well packed and no damage in shipping. The parts fit together easily. The welds left something to be desired, which is why I gave it only 4 stars. As a precaution against corrosion,I got some plasti-dip, which is a rubberized vinyl sealant and sealed all the places where moisture could get into the various tubes of the rack. I was satisfied with the quality of the powder coating on all the parts. The mounting system to the roof rack is interesting and appears well-designed. The assembly and installation instructions are OK, but could have been written better. For example, there is an extra tightening knob for the U-bolts, but no description if it is there as a spare.

Bought the trailer to use on a 2004 Toyota Sienna van for a trip from North Carolina to Yellowstone. Drove over 5,500 miles with it. It worked great! My wife and I wondered why we didn't think of this sooner since we have 4 kids and are normally traveling very cramped. Because the Sienna sits low to the ground you have to be careful going over speed bumps or entering driveways that have dips. Need to go at an angle so that carrier doesn't drag the ground. Otherwise, no issues. We also bought the cargo bag with mounting straps made specifically for this carrier. Best $** we ever spent. I had originally planned to use a tarp to cover our luggage on the carrier but I happened to see this item on the Etrailer website. We packed 4 large suitcases and several duffle bags in this cargo bag with no problems. Very durable and weatherproof. We were very pleased with everything we purchased.

Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Matte Black
This was purchased off of the etrailer.com website as a "damaged" item at a significantly reduced price. The description on the website described the damage very well and the cargo box has no functional issues of any kind. Also, the cargo box arrived much earlier than I anticipated. Furthermore, when I noticed that the box arrived with the load securing straps missing I emailed etrailer customer support and they had Thule send me two new ones right away. Couldn't be more pleased with etrailer and this cargo box. It fits my 2014 Honda CRV with factory crossbars with just a little bit of rear hatch interference (restricts opening by maybe an inch or two, but can still fully use the rear hatch). Can't speak to durability quite yet as I've only used the cargo box a few times to transport skis and snowboard and plan to use it year-round for road trips. A really great, simple cargo box!

32x48 Reese Solo Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 400 lbs
Just put it together this afternoons. I had a little difficulty putting it together. If there was a bit of a space between the mesh things would have been easier. At any rate it seems solidly built and wasn't all that difficult to put together. This should meet and exceed our expectations. Our fist use will be this weekend. It'll make packing a breeze. We plan to use it for a manual wheelchair and our cooler. Thanks for the fast shipment and good price
The carrier I purchased works great for both my DR Stump Grinder and my 28 inch snow blower. I've also hauled a Troybilt Horse tiller on the back of my Toyota Sienna van. Probably the biggest improvement I could recommend to the manufacturer is do a better quality job of rust prevention.

Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 44" Long x 39" Wide
Well done Yakima and etrailer. Great product and great service. The product is well made (in Taiwan....not China) and the parts and instruction video made it relatively" easy to install. Two people helps to install it more readily. The wind diffuser in the front greatly reduces wind noise. All in all very happy and glad I bought through etrailer. Service was excellent and delivery prompt.
I am very happy with both the initial quality of the Load Warrior and how nice the eTrailer people are to deal with... The product seems well thought out and there are a bunch of accessories to mount most anything...

My overall rating is just a fraction less than a full 5 stars. Everything to do with etrailer was exceptional! Website and ordering were easy. My color wasn't immediately available and other options were suggested for quicker lead time. The order was filled and shipped promptly. Shipping was a bit lethargic but it was Christmas time. Freight was good about contacting me before delivery. Shipping box was a bit damaged. Only real complaint was unit showed up with minor cosmetic blemishes. Not full scratches but spots where it had rubbed during shipping. Unit installed just as described, extremely easy. Now a week into using... Looks great and lots of extra storage area for ??, tire chains, emergency kit, extra blanket, etc... Wifey says she can feel it while driving on the highway. Also, opening and loading is a bit tricky for her, she's 5' 5"

Container delivered by UPS semi-truck. Driver was patient as I opened cardboard with box-cutter. Outside box was slightly dented, which he noted. Inside, Thule Cargo Box was exactly as ordered, well padded, and covered in thin plastic sheath. When plastic was removed, Box was just as glossy and perfect as I had hoped. Kudos to etrailer.com for answering all my questions online and shipping in a timely manner.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 41-1/2" Long x 37" Wide x 4" Deep - 150 lbs
I am very pleased with the quality for the price.Just the right size for my 2017 Chevy Trax.the "U" bolts that are used to clamp the basket to the roof cross bars were a bit long so I cut them shorter & installed rubber caps on top of each stud. This keeps the studs from damaging items in the bssket.See pictures.
The reason I bought this basket is due to gas prices. I have a 4X4 suburban I use for camping and hunting but it takes a small loan to fill up the tank. Actually this basket cost less than it does to fill it up. So my thought was if i can get all my gear on my daily driver then i could save some money and maybe even sale the burb. So i gave it a shot last weekend. The rack was easy to put together. I had it out of the box and on the roof in under 30 minutes. As you can see in the pic, i have a rather large ice chest, chain saw, 6 man tent, gas stove and my chair on the roof. My camping destination was about 3 hours away. First was a hour of highway driving at speeds around 70. No issues there. Then 2 hours of windy back roads. No issues there either. The basket made it possible for me and my two kids to load up in the car and head to the hills for three days. The plus for me was it only takes 50$ to fill up the car. :-) I had the max weight in this basket with no issues. I'm very happy with this basket.

Excellent product! Works very well right out of box. The installation is easy but even easier with a second person. With a 2016 Toyota Sienna, Yakima crossbars, this fits like a glove. Enough room for trunk to fully open. Double side access opens up options for mounting to either side of vehicle. Center mount may require a step still to access. Personal preference... Shipping was via a 3rd party, which seemed to go well. There was a little linger in transit than I expected, but I’m not complaining as it was delivered in good shape! The product was the absolute best price I could find anywhere! I highly recommend anyone to etrailer. Exceptional customer service!
I replaced an old Thule box with this. My opinion is that the locking mechanism, the clamping system, and the hinges are superior to the Thule's. Especially the locking mechanism. I used to have to wrestle the Thule box to get things lined up so that I could close and lock the box. And the bonus is that this box was less money (than an equivalent Thule) and eTrailer shipped it for free!

Inno Wedge 660 Rooftop Cargo Box - 11 cu ft - Gloss White
Great design and it looks great paired with the 22 sienna. Side note, if you do plan on storing items outside of skis and snowboard, it will only fit 2, 16inch kids carryon luggage.
This is an excellent box. The white color looks great, and the shape of it is sleek and looks better than in the pictures IMO. I think it's really important to note, the measurement and size info on the website here is not right, at least not complete. It says max ski length is 183 cm diagonal, but the sticker on the product (attached to this review) shows that you can put 190 cm skis in front-to-back (or diagonal, but). This makes a big difference if you have a couple of 184 or 187 cm skis. I measured the box and the sticker is accurate. The interior lengths are the shortest inside dimensions, between the hinges etc, so you can fit in slightly longer items. It also feels a little lighter than the listed 42 lbs Locking mechanism seems good and easy to work, even with gloves. Installation was super easy, the memory mount is really simple to set up and use, it's just a screw and cam lever.

Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 47" Long x 35" Wide - 165 lbs
Greetings, I am giving these items 3? Because I was offered alternative products that did not fit together. Originally, I intended to purchase a roof rack cargo basket type and a spare tire holder from Yakima manufacturer that go well together, but one of them wasn’t in stock. So, after 3 weeks waiting time, I was offered alternative items via etrailer website, and I accepted them…after all, they are the experts. I got the recommended items through UPS, then I assembled them by myself. The roof rack cargo basket fit well on my car, but the spare tire holder was not compatible with the roof rack cargo basket. They couldn’t be assembled together. I submitted my claim to return the spare tire holder. Now, I have not achieved my goal to carry my spare tire. Understanding the needs and expectations of your customers is critical to maximize customer satisfaction. I am sure both products are good, but they are not compatible together, even though they were manufactured by the same company. Distributors should know better! I returned one item and I hope to be refunded.
Great product. Easily puts together and I was able to install on our 2016 Toyota Highlander OEM roof rails with no problems. The mounting brackets slide to make for a easy fit. Have taken it on two long road trips with zero issues last summer one to the montains and one to the beach. Was able to fit our jogging stroller on in the basket. Had some heavy rain on one trip and seen no signs of water getting into the rails as that was a concern of mine when researching the different racks. The high sides allowed for easy tie downs for the weather bag we put the stroller in. Seemed to add a little road noise with nothing in it but that is to be expected when hauling things on the roof but the wind deflector seemed to keep the noise down. Easy to put on and off with a single person able to lift it. Great product, great fit for the car. Plan on using it for some more upcoming trips.

This roof box is very sleek in design and I love how low it sits. Everything is wonderful with it; it can fit all my camping gear despite being a slimmer model. I gave it four stars because one of the powerclick clamps that it came with fell apart only after 3 uses and now i’m going to have to drop another $70+ for a replacement. Other than that, I would recommend this item.

Great product. Great quality. Instructions not real clear, so took me a couple of hours to assemble. Then another 15-20 minutes to secure to roof racks. I was working alone, extra hands would have helped. But extremely happy with quality and looks of product. We have lots of family that visit us, so I plan to carry luggage on the rack to free up space inside the vehicle on trips to and from the airport.

SportRack Vista XL Cargo Box - Roof Mount - 18 cu ft - Black
Our SportRack cargo box has worked as hoped / advertised since we bought it over a year ago. What initially attracted me to this particular product was the size and design - it holds A LOT, and the way it opens from the back has helped protect our stuff from getting wet and damaged.
The sportrack vista xl is great! This was our first attempt at a roof mounted cargo box and it has preformed exceprionally well! I purchased this as a gift for my wife, to go on her Subaru Crosstrek. We live in western NC, and have used this to go to the outer banks of NC, eastern Tennessee, and even to bring home supplies from Sam's Club! It's super easy and quick to install, even for one person, and we've been fortunate enough to not have a single leak yet; even though we've been through heavy downpours! And there's plenty of room! These Sienna vans are really popular family vehicles, and it don't take much or a whole lot of time for the insides to fill up fast. That's exactly where the carrier is going to come into play. You're going to be able to take all that stuff from the inside, throw it back here and make your life a little more comfortable, especially on them long trips. So in my opinion, after just looking at the carrier on the back of the Sienna for a minute, it seems like it's just about the perfect size.
Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Toyota Sienna HR1450Z-85
Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Toyota Sienna, we're gonna be doing a test fit on the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 Two Bike Rack with a cargo carrier attached, part number HR1450Z-85. Now this bike rack does have a cargo carrier attached, like I said. It is removable, if you don't really want to use the cargo carrier but you also want to use your bike rack. All we have to do is take out this pin right here and then it just slides right out. You also do get a sleeve with the kit so that if you don't want to use the bike rack but you want to use the cargo carrier, the sleeve goes on the end of the shank of the cargo carrier, and then you can use it for your 2" hitch receiver.How it tightens down is this handle right here. Once we tighten this handle down like so, that pulls on the pin back here, pulls it backwards to jam it in there and then take out the unnecessary rattling.
Malone Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Toyota Sienna
Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Toyota Sienna we're going to be test fitting the Malone Hitch King cargo carrier for 2" hitches, part number MPG906. This does have a carrying capacity of 500 pounds and it measures 60" long by 19" wide by 2" tall. It has this nice mesh floor at the base here so it's not going to hold water and it's going to be easy to clean as well. Around the edge here you can see these points. That's going to be your tie down points for either your bungee cords or your ratchet straps.With it in this position I'd like to give you a couple quick measurements. Measuring from the edge of the bumper to our outermost edge we've added about 26" to the rear of the vehicle.

We're going to start off here with a few measurements. First is going to be ground clearance. We're going to have about 12.75 inches of ground clearance. Overall to our vehicle, we've got about 29.75 inches.
