MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Today, on our 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we've got out the MaxxTow 30x50 Wheelchair and Scooter Carrier, which has the 48 inch ramp, the part number on it is MT70106. This has a 500 pound capacity, and it's been designed for use in two inch hitches. You see our ramp, good angle on it, it's a nice, sturdy ramp. We're also going to have that large, expanded steel, so even if we've got some dirt and grit on the tires, whether we're hauling our lawnmower, power scooters, wheelchairs, whatever the case may be, any dirt or debris is going to fall right down and out. Also going to have the raised edge all the way around the outside. It's going to be about five inches high, going to to give us good stability, front and back and side to side. You can see there's also a lot of nice large connection points here for our straps or bungees, whatever we're going to be securing the gear with.

Today on our 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee we're taking a look rather, at the MaxxTow 30 x 50 Wheelchair Ramp. This ramp's been designed to carry up to 500 pounds, also for use with 2 inch hitches. The part number on it is MT70260. You can see here we've got our bi-fold ramp. This is a 60 inch ramp, it's going to come down to the side for us. Today, in our 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we've got out the 23 by 47 carpod world cargo carrier here. We're going to test for it and see how it fits up against the rear of the Jeep. Now clearly, this is a stand out cargo carrier from a lot that we see out there. We've got this nice raised walls all the way around. Those are going to give us about 21 and 3 quarters of an inch worth of height. You can imagine we can stuck this thing full. We'll have great stability.

Today on our 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we've got out the Strongbird Carlson 23x60 Cargo Carrier. We're doing a test fit on it just to see how it fits up against the rear of the car. This cargo carrier is designed for use with up to 500 pounds and also on 2 inch hitches. The part number on it is CC-100. I really like this carrier for couple reasons. I like the really large expanded steel on the floor. A lot of dirt and debris is and stuff like that is something I deal with, so that's going to pass down through there without any issue, even some of the bigger rocks. The raised rail is nice.



Lets Go Aero Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Today on our 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee we've got out the Let's Go Aero GearCage. We're going to test fit it and see how it stakes up behind the rear of the vehicle here. This is a 32x48 cargo carrier. One of the things you're going to notice really stands out about the carrier is going to be that solid floor. Today, on our 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we've got out the Curt 20 by 60 Folding Cargo Carrier here. We're going to do a test fit on it, and see what kind of room we've got between it and the back of the vehicle. Now, this carrier, it'll carry up to 500 pounds, and it's been designed for use on two-inch hitches. Part number on it is C18151. This particular carrier has that medium size expanded steel cargo floor, that platform floor. That allows dirt and debris and stuff like that to fall through, but it's still going to give us plenty of area to rest our items and our goods on.



Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee C18150

Today on our 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we've got out the Curt 20 by 60 cargo carrier and we're test fitting it. Now this cargo carrier is designed to carry up to 500 pounds and for use with 2 inch hitches. Part number on it is C18150. Now the carrier is going to have the kind of you'd consider kind of the medium size expanded steel, it's going to give us good surface area for items to rest on but any moisture, dirt, and debris should fall right down and out of there. We'll also going to have a raised edge that goes all the way around the outside and it's about 5 1/2 inches tall and once our gear is in there, it's going to keep it from moving around too much front to back or side to side. It also gives us some good connection points around here for our straps and we've got a few reflectors back here on each side just to help with visibility. Now the Curt has a rise in the shank that lends to really good ground clearance here in the back.



SportRack Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Today on our 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee we're going to be doing a test fit of the Sport Rack Vista cargo carrier. This cargo carrier is going to measure 20" wide by 60" long, be of steel construction, and have a 500 pound weight capacity. You can see that it's going to have that 2" shank for your 2" receivers only, and it's going to be part number SR9849. Let's go ahead and get it fitted onto the back of our vehicle into our 2" receiver. Simply slide your shank into your receiver and then we'll line up those pinholes. Once you have it lined up, slide in that anti-rattle bolt and thread it in as far as you can by hand. Once you have it threaded in as far as you can by hand, take that 3/4" socket and tighten it down the rest of the way.



SportRack Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee SR9851

Today on our 2011 Jeep Cherokee we're going to be doing a test fit of the SportRack Vista Cargo Carrier. This should be a 20x60" cargo carrier with a steel construction, 500 pound weight capacity. It does come with a 2" shank for your 2" receivers only. It's going to be part #SR9851. We'll go ahead and get it fitted into our vehicle and show you how it looks and fits. Alright, today on this 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, were going to do a test fit of part number UWS03511; this is our aluminum cargo carrier. One thing to know about this bicycle rack is that its designed for 2-inch receiver hitches only. Well go ahead and start off our test fit by installing the cargo carrier into the hitch then well go ahead and install the hitch pin and clip and get a few clearance measurements. Our clearance from the cargo carrier to the bumper is going to be 2 inches. Ground clearance is going to be about 13 inches. Now well take a look at the exhaust on the vehicle and see how it interacts with the cargo carrier.

Now, well start off our test fit by installing the bike rack into the hitch and then inserting the hitch pin and clip. Alright, today on this 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee we're going to do a test fit of part number C18100 from Curt. This is Curt's Folding Aluminum Cargo Carrier. A few notes about this cargo carrier is that it is designed for 2-inch receiver hitches only, it has a weight capacity of 500 lbs, and the dimensions on the cargo carrier are 20 x 60. And we'll start off our test fit by installing the cargo carrier into the hitch and then we'll go ahead and install the hitch pin and clip. Right off the bat on our test fit we notice the cargo carrier sits really close to the vehicle's hatch when it's installed in a stored position. So when driving down the road we probably do not want to drive it like that.
