24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
The rack is much bigger than my previous one. I was disappointed that it was made in China instead of the USA. It assembled very easily and the light kit works very well. The only draw back is I can no longer open my tailgate with the rack installed due to the spare tire hitting the raised rack.
The carrier was exactly what I was expecting. High quality, powder coated, and heavy duty. This will allow me to transport my mower, pressure washer, cooler, and anything that I do not want inside my Jeep. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 41-1/2" Long x 37" Wide x 4" Deep - 150 lbs
Carrier fits my Xterra perfectly, and was the best price that I Found anywhere.
Very durable basket, and fairly easy to install. It's definitely transformed the look and practicality of our little SUV.

Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 44" Long x 39" Wide
The LoadWarrior is easy to install and is very sturdy. I have not noticed any additional road noise even at 70mph. Looks great. 2009 Xterra.
I'm very pleased with this rack. It fits perfectly on my 2005 Xterra factory crossbars and looks good and functions just as I wanted. I like the mounts and the smoothness of the cargo surface.

Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 47" Long x 35" Wide - 165 lbs
The quality of the product is fine, I have a problem with the fit. WARNING, if you own a Nissan Xterra, this will not fit. Nothing is said about this on the site. The brackets do not fit the crossbars, the basket is the same size as the tube bars so the basket sits on top of them and not the crossbars. Rhino supposedly makes an adapter for it to fit the Xterra, but guess what, etrailer does not carry them, yet. So I have a roof basket that I can not install on my Xterra, awesome. And I can not load pictures because it is not on the vehicle.
Greetings, I am giving these items 3? Because I was offered alternative products that did not fit together. Originally, I intended to purchase a roof rack cargo basket type and a spare tire holder from Yakima manufacturer that go well together, but one of them wasn’t in stock. So, after 3 weeks waiting time, I was offered alternative items via etrailer website, and I accepted them…after all, they are the experts. I got the recommended items through UPS, then I assembled them by myself. The roof rack cargo basket fit well on my car, but the spare tire holder was not compatible with the roof rack cargo basket. They couldn’t be assembled together. I submitted my claim to return the spare tire holder. Now, I have not achieved my goal to carry my spare tire. Understanding the needs and expectations of your customers is critical to maximize customer satisfaction. I am sure both products are good, but they are not compatible together, even though they were manufactured by the same company. Distributors should know better! I returned one item and I hope to be refunded.

24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Purchased from etrailer.com and was very pleased to have excellent freight tracking information. My cargo carrier arrived much sooner than I had expected. It is made of heavy duty steel and assembled perfectly, very easy. Mounts just like they show in the videos and works great. We use it to go camping and not only does it help greatly with extra carry space capacity to get to the campsite, but at the campsite we use it as a side table for ice chests and kitchen water taps. Very happy with this product! Jay
We just installed our carrier. We love that this is going to free up a lot of space for our vacation traveling. Very heavy duty and bigger than i was thinking it would be.The pin that holds the carrier in the hitch was not included. It would have been an added bonus if it was.

I've been using this Cargo Carrier on my 4 Runner Venture for about a year now. I Purchased this item to haul extra gear to Nags Head from Northwestern Virginia. Installation was a breeze and it's very, very sturdy. I had two Yeti coolers packed with ice and drinks and there was no wobbling at all. I'm a 197 pounds and I was standing on it after I installed it just to check for durability and this thing is a beast. I also used this as a rod holder while on the beach and I caught a 6 foot black tip shark. Overall, I'm very pleased with this item and I would recommend to a friend.

Yakima MegaWarrior Extra Large Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 74" Long x 48" Wide
So far, so good. I originally ordered the Curt basket, which is cheaper. But it turns out it wouldn't fit on my Xterra's factory bars (even though the Curt website shows it on an Xterra, unfastened!) Also the Curt instructions say their basket is not meant for permanent installation -- I guess it's like a clamshell you put on for a trip and take off after. Not what I wanted. This Yakima fits the wide, oval Xterra factory bars -- just barely, but it's secure. I like that because I was trying to minimize height. I installed it myself; just lifted it over my head and walked it on, no problem. It's big, especially with the extension, but I figured as long as I'm putting one on, I might as well make it as useful as possible. Cost about the same, on sale, as the smaller LoadWarrior. I could mount my old bike racks on it, as shown. (I have a trailer so a rear mount doesn't work.) But after I knocked a bike off going through the drive-thru at Burger King I decided I'm just going to lay the bikes flat and strap them down. Until they invent bike radar. Etrailer service was excellent, as usual.
Roof rack arrived dented and scratched which complicated the installation because I had to hammer out dents to get the pipes to fit. Apart from that, the paint/coating scratches off fairly easily and the installation design is pretty awful. Instead of threading the pipe to accept screws they have this complicated plastic gasket mechanism which takes forever to align. I expected more from Yakima and for the price. Quick delivery from etrailer and good fit overall-- just need to wait and see about rust.

Yakima MegaWarrior Large Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 52" Long x 48" Wide
So far, so good. I originally ordered the Curt basket, which is cheaper. But it turns out it wouldn't fit on my Xterra's factory bars (even though the Curt website shows it on an Xterra, unfastened!) The MegaWarrior is a great Roof Rack. The only thing I didn’t like was the fit to the roof rails. My rails that I purchased from you are shaped like aircraft wings and the basket clamps seem to be designed for round rails. However I was able to complete the attachment and the rack remained secure for a 2,000 mile trip.

Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier for 2" Hitches - With Ramp - 77" Long - 500 lbs
I can't say I'm entirely happy with my purchase. The instructions were more confusing than helpful. Note in "instruction.jpg" photo of STEP 1 that the text says to put the 8 small bolts in from the inside first, but the drawing clearly shows them as going in from the outside. The last step says to place the ramp onto the receiver as shown.... glad I didn't throw away the box because there is no drawing that shows ramp installation. Actually, the photo on the box was more helpful than any of the instructions. Also, I need to make a trip to the hardware store to buy longer medium bolts because the ones that came with the carrier were not long enough to fully engage the self locking feature of the nylon lock nuts. At a minimum a couple of threads should protrude beyond the nylon. See photo "nut.jpg". The bolt threads don't reach the end of the nylon, so the self locking feature is not fully engaged. I did tighten the nut, but that was as far as it would go. I think once I get back from the hardware store with the new medium bolts and after I reverse the 8 small bolts (I followed the drawing and not the text of the instructions), I'll be OK with the carrier.
"Instantly Get Rid of Wobble and Upgrade With Lights" This is not a 5 because ramp should be longer & there should be some type stabilizer to temporary hold bike while strapping down, I'd pay more for those upgrades. The wobble can instantly be solved by hooking Tie-Straps closest to vehicle directly to the receiver where you hook your chains, rather than hooking them to the provided holes on carrier itself. You of course use the provided strap holes ones on the opposite side. When strapped down as stated, the carrier now becomes one with the vehicle & @ 80mph there is no wobble. (*TIP: Put ramp back in its place before strapping down or else it won't fit with the strap hooks in the way.) I upgraded mine with lights for both safety reasons & not needing the Police any reason to pull me over. It was very simple and cost me nothing but time & maybe $50. I recommend this product whole heartedly.

Yakima SkyBox 21 Rooftop Cargo Box - 21 cu ft - Black Carbonite
First, I'd like to commend etrailer.com for the efficient, damage-free shipping mode they wisely selected. The carrier contacted me to complete the delivery, and the shipment tracking was very helpful. Second, the sturdy and well-designed Yakima Skybox was easy to install, out of the box to the ATV roof racks, with easy-to-understand instructions resulting in a perfect installation.
Exactly as advertised. Well built. The adjustable clamps were simpler to use than I had expected and make it easy to adjust the position of the box on the vehicle or to move it between vehicles with differently spaced cross bars. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Great quality and serves its purpose. I wish I ordered the slightly bigger one to fit the bins and items I use it for. For example, a white standard igloo cooler doesn’t fit the way I need it to maximize loading capacity. I highly recommend a stabilizer to prevent wobble.

16x21 TorkLift Lock and Load SideKick Cargo Tray for 2" Hitches - 200 lbs
Just what I was looking for. Wanted to carry a small Honda generator and skinny gas can. I tilted the "Y" shaped security bar away from the vehicle by putting more washer between it and the carrier. That moved the generator enough to fit in the skinny gas can.
Very good quality for different types of generators. Again, I would’ve gave it five stars if it wasn’t for the price. But it is very well quality.

32x48 Reese Solo Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 400 lbs
I received the package in a pretty rough exterior condition but everything was fine inside. The previous comments about having to cut away the expanded metal flooring in order to install the carriage bolts wasn't true in my case. Apparently, this quality control issue has been addressed by the manufacturer. Assembly went well and wasn't complicated. A different carriage bolt with a longer square shoulder should be used. The shoulder doesn't grip too well to the square cutout in the frame and even while pressing firmly on the head of the bolt, it wanted to turn as I was tightening the nut. All in all, it seems to be a solid product and I look forward to using it.
I wish the load capacity was a bit higher, but overall I am satisfied with the cargo carrier. It is perfect for lugging my two dog crates behind my vehicle instead of inside the vehicle. Thank you for offering a dimensionally larger cargo carrier than most retailers.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 64-1/2" Long x 39" Wide x 7-1/4" Tall - 150 lbs
I only use the roof rack for vacations because they make cars so small on the interior now a days. It handles quite a bit of luggage. Including two big size luggage and two small is how I travel. Make sure to get water proof covers and good straps. I stopped every 3 hours to make sure load was secure and drove over 700 miles without any issues. The rack will make whistle noise because of the wind passing through the bars but I just toned it out and blasted the radio . The product is great and sturdy easy on and easy off. My only complaint is putting on the wind guard. I couldn’t figure it out because the instructions have poor information on the wind plate. Also it took two deliveries to receive the product due to my first delivery being opened/ repackaged and missing parts like keys. I returned it and got the product in a new package with no more issues. Customer service was very helpful also and communication was well organized. Make sure to order well in advance just incase you might have to send the product back because of packaging issues. Also product is easy to store without disassembly of the rack rails. I put it in my garage and it takes up no space. I hope this review helps someone. Thank you
I love the rack and the extended length is great on my Sequoia. I am disappointed with the finish on it as the connector plates are already showing signs of rust….. I like it enough that I’m going to repaint it with something more suited to our climate…
