This kit creates a dedicated connection between your outboard and a single starting battery, focused on reliable cranking power. An auxiliary connector lets you add Connect-Ease accessory products (sold separately) without stacking battery terminals.
This kit is built to create a reliable connection between your outboard and a single starting battery, using a dedicated starting circuit designed for consistent cranking power. Instead of stacking terminals at the battery, the outboard connects through a purpose-built starting lead, while an integrated auxiliary connector provides a controlled way to add Connect-Ease accessory products as needed. That auxiliary port is used to connect items like multi-accessory connectors, fused accessory blocks, or single-device leads for electronics such as graphs, pumps, or lights.
This outboard connection kit is designed to work with the following Connect-Ease accessory connectors:

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Connect-Ease Start 12 Outboard Motor Connection Kit with auxiliary connector. Now, if you've ever been frustrated with the messy wiring that's around a boat battery, this kit is basically gonna help solve that problem for you. This Connect-Ease Start 12 Outboard Motor Connection Kit is basically a plug-and-play wiring system that's going to let you hook up your 12-volt outboard motor and your accessories like electronics, lights, pumps, or even a fish finder, all without dealing with complicated crimping or ring terminals. So instead of permanently wiring everything to your battery posts, this system uses quick-connect plugs. And that means that you're gonna be able to snap everything together very easily, as you can see right here.
So these plugs clip together just like that or snap together very easily. Got a solid, strong connection, and then you'll just pull it loose, and it'll be just like that. So you're not gonna have to worry about constantly trying to disconnect wires from your battery or anything like that. So this particular connection point is gonna wire to your battery, and then this is going to give you that connection point to plug directly into your battery with this harness. So you're gonna be able to snap everything together very cleanly, and just as easily disconnect it for storage, linearization, battery maintenance, what have you.
It's especially gonna be handy if you remove your battery often or you just want a neater, more organized setup. This kit uses heavy-duty 6 gauge wiring for the main motor connection, so it's gonna be able to handle the current your outboard motor needs to start reliably. And then, we also have this auxiliary connector that's gonna give you a dedicated plug for powering extra 12 volt gear, so no more stacking a pile of ring terminals on your battery posts. So this is gonna work with any 12 volt battery, such as lead-acid, AGM, gel, and even lithium. So this is gonna be compatible with pretty much any modern marine setup.
