If you're looking for a vertical floor stand, because maybe you need to store your bike and you don't have much room in your apartment, in your garage, in your shed for it, this is gonna be the Swagman stand kit. This is a floor stand that you very easily put your bike on, and while it might look a little small, compact, and supposedly flimsy at first, it is surprisingly stable, but most importantly, it's a great way to store that bike. The way this works is, once you have your stand assembled, you just put it anywhere in your garage or on the floor that you need to mount your bike. You get your rear wheel on there, and then you secure your front wheel to your bike frame using the included strap, and then you just pivot this whole thing up and over. So see this mount here This will secure your seat post, and you can also adjust the height depending on your different bike sizes. With this very simple design, it doesn't really matter what style of bike you have or even your frame size.
So like I have an extra large frame here, no big deal. The important things are definitely gonna be your wheel diameters as well as your tire size. So here we have 29 inch wheels, which is gonna be the largest this can fit, and can go down to 20 inch wheels, and as long as your tires are no wider than 2 1/2 inches, this will work out for you. You'll notice that at the bottom, you have two cradles, and these will pivot a little bit in order to best accommodate your different types of tires. Those cradles work really well for supporting the weight and potential movement of the bike in case you knock up against it.
That's also helped by the rubberized feet, and you do have a maximum weight capacity of up to 45 pounds. We have plenty of swinging going on here, but the bike is not toppling over, so just be mindful of that with even your heavier bikes. As long as you don't go over 45 pounds. Definitely take advantage of that strap included to make sure that your front wheel does not swing around much, and this will reduce the amount of sway over the whole bike. The widest part of this mount is gonna be that last leg and that sits at 21 inches wide, but what I've found is that, in most situations, your largest measurements is definitely gonna be your bicycle handlebars as well as the height and then the length of your actual bike.
