Here's something for my CrossTrack owners right here. Clearly, you like your bike carrier, it is super easy to work with, but you would like a little bit easier way to adjust your wheel size 'cause maybe you have different types of bikes. I'm gonna show you a real quick and easy upgrade so you can get the most out of your carrier. The tool-free Hollywood Racks replacement knob is gonna replace this Allen key bolt right here on your adjustment for your front arm or front and rear arm. All you need to do is take your Allen key, you're gonna remove this bolt, and then you're gonna have this guy with the thumb screws on the end where you can just swap it out. So I got my Allen key here.
It's pretty straightforward. And then we'll remove this bolt. I mean, it's pretty straightforward. You're just removing one bolt, having your Allen key, and your vice grips or pliers handy. It helps.
It's kind of a long thread, but, you know, it's one of those things where this little bit of time makes a world of difference for when you get out there, 'cause that way, you can make these on-the-fly adjustments without needing to have your Allen key and other tools handy. You probably would want to take your bike off the carrier, but we got this guy set up, and you can see it's holding it up just fine. We are gonna remove our bolt and we're gonna replace it with our upgraded part. This guy's super straightforward. We're just gonna unscrew it and then thread it right through the hole.
(bolt clattering) Boom, you're an upgrader now, and now we're just gonna use our wing nuts here. And now, we can quickly adjust the size of our CrossTrack for whatever wheel diameter.
