Hello neighbors. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this 90 degree T-style hook and keeper. It's a door holder for your enclosed trailer. Now folks, this hook and keeper door holder is gonna keep your trailer open while you're loadin' and unloadin', so you don't have to worry about having a friend to hold that door or find something to prop it open anymore. Now, this 90 degree hook is very ideal for doors that have an obstruction or just won't sit flush with the side of your trailer.
It is made of a durable plastic construction. It's not gonna scratch your trailer like the metal holders do. It's black in color. And you got nice mounting screws included. Now I will say personally, folks, the plastic here, I'm not gonna say it's really flimsy, but it's not my favorite.
We'll just put it that way. It is heavy duty, don't get me wrong. But I think if it was me, I would go with a metal one myself, and that's just me personally. Now, as far as some dimensions on the receiver bracket. It is three inches overall.
1 3/4 inches wide, and about 1/2 inch thick, or I'm sorry, 5/8 of an inch thick. And as far as those maillon holes, one inch on center. And long ways, 2 1/4. Now for the 90 degree bracket, three inches across. Same, 1 3/4 wide.
And this one's only about 1/2 inch. Now, same thing with the maillon holes on the center dimensions and all that. Folks, it does have a lifetime warranty, so even though it's plastic, the manufacturer will replace it if you ever have any issues. Well, that's gonna wrap it up for our look at this 90 degree T-style hook and keeper door holder. I'm Steven. Thanks for watchin'.

This 90-degree hook-and-keeper door holder is ideal for trailer doors with an awning arm or other obstruction preventing it from fully opening. Plastic construction is durable and won't scratch up your trailer. Mounting screws are included. This part worked and was a good fit, but the plastic door holder is not adequate for the job.
Came quickly and as advertised but flimsier plastic than the original and came with regular wood screws, not self-tapping screws. Also, the hole pattern did not exactly match the OEM. I didn't want to drill new holes in the door and wall of my trailer, so I kept the old, bent keeper on the trailer door (hole pattern was off about 1/8" from the OEM part) and replaced the engagement handle piece (hole pattern matched OEM good enough to not need redrilling). Not ideal, but at least the mechanism will keep the door away from the open awning, if needed.
As usual etrailer had what I was looking for and shipped it out quickly! This item was needed for a camper belonging our daughter and son-in-law.
I highly recommend purchasing from etrailer!
I have ordered from etrailer a few times and have always been extremely satisfied. Their exceptional customer service, broad knowledge base, professionalism, and prompt handling of my needs is impressive. Their staff are awesome!!! Totally recommend etrailer for all your needs.
Very quick on completing the order and getting it delivered.
The latches look great. I think they will be able to handle the task. I haven't put them on yet because my trailer sides are not flat.
Fit like a glove.
I bought two because they break easy I wish they would have this in metal.
Not that's its your fault but the product is made of cheap plastic. Already broke on first camping trip. Yes, little breeze but you would think the product would hold up better than it did. I would try another one if you would replace at no charge. Thank you.
Sturdy, better the the original.
Great service everyone top notch
Perfect!
Great fit. replacement solved
Wind broke it within 2 days. Ordered the metal one.
Good fit
