Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Bimini top deck hinges for your boat sidewalls. These are going to provide the attachment point to secure your Bimini top's support poles. You will mount them vertically on your boat's sidewalls. The screws to get these installed are not included, but you should be able to use just the standard hardware that you probably already have lying around to get them installed.
Then once they are installed, you'll just use a flathead screwdriver to put this bolt in place through the external eye end on your support poles. Once you have the bolt pushed through the eye end, you just screw it down in place, and that's going to give you that hinge point for your Bimini top support poles to hinge, so that you can open and close that Bimini top.These are a black nylon construction, so you're not going to have to worry about them rusting or corroding while you're out on the water or near the water. They're not going to rust or anything like that, so that should hold up well for you. As far as our measurements go, these are right about two and a half inches long and just shy of an inch tall, about seven-eighths of an inch in width. Our height, we're just measuring our black nylon piece, right about five-eighths of an inch, just over half an inch.
And then our bolt diameter here is a quarter of an inch. Make sure that your Bimini external eye ends will fit with that quarter inch. You are going to get two of these hinges, one for each side of your boat, and that's pretty much all there is to these.They are going to be a simple device to allow you to use your Bimini top. Again, whether your originals have become corroded or damaged, or if you are adding a Bimini top to your boat, these are going to be a great option for you to give you that hinged feature. That's going to complete our look for today.

I like the design, as it allows mounting on the inner gunnal ledge where the boat windows slant inward. With the angled nature of this product, the bimini frame arms can easily reach and fit to it.
