Troubleshooting Jensen Stereo LED Display Faintly Lit When Powered Off

Question:

I have a 2015 T@G tear camper that came with an AWM965 Jensen tuner system. Even when the power is off, the LED display is still faintly lit. How can I turn this off so that my battery doesnt drain? Thanks for your help.

More than likely the dimly lit display you're seeing is from the voltage taking a while to dissipate. It doesn't take much power for the LED display to show up. Give it a few hours and check again to see if it is still lit. Even if it is, the power draw isn't enough to drain your battery.

It may also be from the separate power wire running from the battery to the stereo system for memory. This small amount of power allows your AWM965 to keep the settings, just like the stereo in your car. Again, the power draw is so little it isn't a concern. If you would truly like to remove all power you would need to add a disconnect like # SE29VR. However, doing this will mean you lose any settings you have programmed each time.
