Video Transcript for Breaking Down the Auto Body Clips and Fasteners for Volkswagen Vehicles- 255 Pieces

Ellen: Hey, everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to take a quick look at the trim clip assortment. This is for your Volkswagen vehicles, and it's really going to help in those instances where you need to take off a quarter panel, or maybe your fascia on the front or rear, if you're getting a base plate installed or a hitch. A lot of times there are hitches now that go up underneath the frame and they fit behind that fascia. So it can really help to get those installed. Because a lot of times, whenever you have to take one of those pieces off, you're going to break some clips.Even if you're putting wiring in, if you're trying to pull any inner panels off, sometimes those clips can break.

Maybe you're putting something in the front or the back of your vehicle, whatever the case might be. Maybe one of those panels just popped out, got in a little fender bender. The panel's fine overall, but it's just popped out and it broke some clips. This is going to be a nice kit to have some extra clips on hand, to make sure that you can replace those and still get those quarter panels and all those trim panels put back into your vehicle.So again, this is for your Volkswagen. First thing off, you do get this nice case. So it keeps everything organized, makes it pretty easy to just, you can stash it underneath the seat in your vehicle, in your Volkswagen. I have a Volkswagen Beetle. So this is very much of interest to me just because it's kind of nice to have anything around that fits your vehicle.So, we've got all of our parts in their own little compartments and a handy guide to let you know where each of those go and what each one has. So, some of these are two part pieces.

Like this guy here has an anchor clip on top of the other. So this is for a retainer. So you get five of these and it should give you the part layout of how many you get of each one.We've got some just clips, a couple of different kinds of retainers, your trunk lining. So these little guys will probably come out if you do anything in there, some more retainers, another plastic clip, retainer, push type retainer, and a screw grommet, and then your door molding. So it looks like these fell out from this other pocket.

Some of these can get a little bit jumbled around, but again, that's why it's nice to have this guide to help you figure out what goes where.So you get 25 of these and it seems like they don't quite all fit in their spot with the guys that should go in here. Again, it's a two part, push style piece. So this is almost like a little rivet. So you push this little guy into the center and then it expands in there. And these are made of nylon and they say that they are OEM quality, which means that they're pretty much similar to what you get out of your vehicle.Are they going to be the most sturdy thing in the world No. But anybody who's ever used these or had to take them apart knows that they're not all that sturdy to begin with. But you do want to be as careful as you can to put them in the right spot so you don't have to take them back out again because that's what got you into this mess of needing them.So, treat them with care, as far as putting them in place. And should be a nice kit to have on hand again, if you're doing any kind of aftermarket stuff in your vehicle.
