Hello neighbor, I'm Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this AC to DC adapter for your Swift Hitch Wireless Camera systems. Now folks, this will convert any one 10-volt AC home receptacle into a 12-volt DC cigarette lighter receptacle, but this one is specifically designed for use with the Swift Hitch Camera. Now I've got an extension cord here that does not come with it, that's my personal use. You're only getting this guy here. Now you can see, it's got a red dot on it here that will light up, illuminate whenever it's plugged into a power source, and it's got the 12-volt accessory plugin port there.
So I wanna plug this in here, facing your direction. You can see the red light comes on, indicating we have power. Now I'm gonna pull up from my demo spot here, the Swift Hitch Wireless Camera remote. The remote has a plugin that comes with it. We're gonna plug that in and you should see this light up right here, showing that we have power to it.
All right, there we go. And I've also got an indicator light on this guy here as well. So everything's plugged in, we're charging, everything is good to go. So again, that's primarily what this is designed for use with. It's charging the battery inside of this guy, and as you can see, the plug that came with this camera kit has two ports on it.
Well, again, that Swift Hitch Camera, which is sold separately by the way, you can get that guy separately and it has a port on it as well that plugs in, and then this would charge that as well. So again, technically you could charge two things with this guy, again, but that comes with that kit. So I'm gonna put everything away here that's part of my demo. Again, none of this other stuff here comes with the kit. I was just showing you what that is meant to be used for.
All right, so once again, we just simply have this guy right here, the AC to DC adapter, again, for the Swift Hitch Wireless Camera system. Well folks, that's gonna do it for a look at this. You get quantity one. I'm Steve with etrailer.com. Thank you so much for watching. Have a great day and stay safe.

The signal from the camera drops off when the receiver is more than 3-5 feet from the camera. Will be returning it.

Great
Solved the problem of powering the monitor for my Furrion S RV rear observation camera, since my 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali does not come with a cigarette lighter 12v port. This adapter works perfectly to provide a power source for the monitor that can only be plugged into a cigarette lighter socket!
does not work

Hey Joanna! I reached out by email too, but I wanted to ask if there were anymore details about what is happening. Hope to hear from you soon
The AC to DC Adapter for the Swift Hitch Wireless Camera System makes it easy to recharge the Camera System in my shop instead of charging it in the vehicle. Great addition to the system. I recommend purchasing one of these to go with the system.
This adapter charged up the equipment in less than thirty minutes.
This is a much better way to charge the cameras and the receiver than using the car battery.

Its great. It took me a little while to find out the best place to locate it and it took me a few times to distinguish the accuracy of the view I was looking at. I still back up a close as I think is safe then I get out and look at where I am then proceed from there. Im still not very good at backing up the trailer in my RV location but Im getting good at finding the trailer hitch thanks to the Swift Hitch.
Odelia my contact, found the product I needed to work with my Furrion camera setup on my camper! I needed an adapter for it and wasn’t able to find in my search. This isn’t the first time etrailer reps have helped with there knowledge. I feel etrailer’s staff is the best in the fulfillment business. On line reps seldom have these skills. Thanks again Odelia for your help and look forward to do business with etrailer and you again.
Works great I can see all around my cam per
The adaptors are working excellent! Can't believe I didn't have them years ago when we started using the swift hitch cameras. Thank you also for the great and speedy service.
It is the only way to plug in your Swift Hitch Wireless Camara System DC Charger cable to AC.
Functional add on. allows charging from a 120V instead of just a 12V.
Just what I needed to charge my SwiftHitch at home. Shipped quickly Does the job
Love it use it a lot allready easier two charge my swift hitch in house then in truck love it
Finally got the chance to use the charger. Worked perfectly and was much more convenient to charge the monitor in the house than leaving it in the truck. The price was reasonable.
Once again fast shipping and great customer service.
Reached out to tech support and they helped solve my problem. Thank you
Good quality product at a fair price. Delivered quickly!

Since we don't travel much with the camera this is wonderful to be able to keep it charged.

I reached out to the manufacturer about the signal drop that you are experiencing. It is recommended to check to make sure that the antenna connection is not loose and that the battery is not running low. Metal objects can block the signal. This can range from aluminum, steel, and other electrically conductive metals as well as metal doors, blinds, buildings, furniture, and walls. Having clear sight between the camera and the monitor is strongly recommended. If you have such an obstacle between the camera and the monitor, you can try to remove those signal-blocking parties out, and then you will get further transmission distance.
