What's up everybody It's AJ with etraler.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out the Saris Hitch Tightener. It's gonna go with your Saris MHS Bike Rack. It goes on the shank of the bike rack by your hitch. And what it does is it takes away that up and down movement you can get on the bike rack. So, there's not really any side to side.

That's pretty tight in there because the anti-rattle bolt. So the ant-rattle bold doesn't protect against the up and down. So let me show you. Yous see how it bounce up and down like that. This is gonna eliminate it.

So it's gonna be really easy to install. We got the U bolt that goes up top, right there. And then we have the anti-rattle or the tightener plate. That's gonna go here. Make sure when you put this on the flat portion's gonna go underneath your hitch and the portion that's angled up is gonna go up towards the shank.

'Cause that's what it's gonna do. It's gonna push it up a little bit and help tighten that in place. So, we'll just set it right here on the lip. Then we'll do a flat washer, a lock washer, and a nut. Gonna do the same thing on the other side.

And then come back with a ratchet and tighten them down evenly. With that installed, let's push up and you see that bounce or that up and down movement is completely gone. With the hitch tightener installed, let's add a bike and take it around the parking lot and see how it handles. Overall, it really worked. It did take that up and down movement out of the bike rack that was really helpful with just one bike on there. The bike rack is pretty heavy but I think it's gonna be even better for if you added any of the accessories onto there. If you add onto the MHA system, it's gonna get heavier. There's gonna be more of that weight going up and down and it's gonna help eliminate that as we already saw. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out. I hope this helped..
