Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a quick look at a simple replacement inside knob for your locking stainless steel flush door latches. So folks, this does fit the locking stainless steel door flush or flush door latches. Item numbers L1883 and L3980. And it just simply allows you to open the latch from inside the trailer, gives you something nice and long and thick to hold onto, and it has threads here on the end and it just screws right into that latch and then you can slide it open easily.

good quality latch looks like it will hold up to years of use, works good and looks good , and installed pretty easy. I installed it on my car trailer service door and it fits real nice. I would of rated it 5 star but the back side of the latch on the inside of door does not have a trim ring it would improve the appearance of the installation. I will fabricate my own to cover the ruff edge of the opening.
This was a direct replacement latch for my CM horse trailers front door. The fit and finish was perfect which was important because it required pop rivets for installation. Delivery was fast and inexpensive . I fully intend on purchasing more products from trailer in the future.

This was the one and only place I could find this knob, and I’m so glad! Fit perfectly, and I’m extremely pleased. My original one was no longer threading so kept falling out. This one is in nice and snug, and now my horse trailer door opens perfectly from the inside again!
good product but the paddle is too short, won't work on my wells cargo trailer
