Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our replacement Rev X3 folding support arms for the GennyGo Generator and Cargo Carriers. Now folks, again, these are replacement support arms, but they can also be added to existing GennyGo kits, increasing the weight capacity and they fit most size bumpers. Now what they're going to do is they're going to fit that GennyGo Generator Carrier item number M097VR sold separately, and looks something like the image on the screen. Now like I said, they do fit most size bumpers.
They can extend up to 26 and a quarter inches long, accommodating different size boxes or trays. And they use the built-in tilt function, so this part, as you probably already know, goes around your square bumper. You have these two pins here. You can simply pull out the retaining pin and clip, and then these can pivot down for storage when you're not using them, that way you can keep everything on the bumper, or you can completely pull them off, leaving everything on the bumper if you so choose. So again, you have a lot of versatility and options.
I will leave those apart just so you can kind of see the different parts. You also get four of these spacers. And per the instructions, what I was reading and found is that you may or may not need them. It just depends on your particular setup and what you're doing. Same thing with this bracket here for mounting, you can take this set nut off and you can move it up or down, obviously, according to the size of your bumper length, width, depth, those kind of things.
And if you need that shim, you can use it. This part here is pretty unique. Let me twist these off real quick so I can show you that in action. And basically what's neat about this kit is it's pretty versatile as far as fitting, like I said, many different size bumpers, from two inch square all the way up to six inch. And again, this is a really nice versatile kit to be able to do that.
Okay, so once I get this final nut off, so they give you two nuts, one's a set nut and the other one's just kind of your regular nut. Okay, so we get that off. (metal thudding) Now this part here has a lot of different options, as you can see all these slots. you simply put it in sideways, and then you'll twist it to lock it in to the right width that you need for your application, whether it's way down here at that two inch or way at that six inch that I was showing you from the get go. So very nice, you have lots of versatility. (metal thuds) And again, when it's put together, it looks something like this. And then of course when it's hooked to the generator tray, the GennyGo tray, it'll look like this. So folks, what's great about these installation brackets is they fit in tight spaces. A lot of times you don't have a whole lot of space between that bumper and sometimes the RV camper. And this being this thin and versatile is going to let you get that in there in those nice tight clearances and be able to have something that's going to support that downward pressure of the heavy generator or cargo boxes or gear that you're putting on there. Everything here obviously has a nice, sturdy, black powder coat finish over it so you don't have to worry about rust, corrosion, those kind of things. And it's a simple bolt-on application. We went over that hardware and everything, it's all included as well. Folks, that's going to wrap up our quick look together. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
