Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and today we're taking a quick look at the replacement front latch assembly for Extang Revolution Soft Tonneau Cover.Now this is for the driver's side of your tonneau cover, and basically this little latch is going to be that first point that our tonneau cover rests in to keep the tension on it. So this end would be pointed towards the cab, this end would be pointed towards the rear. And you're just installing that beam that goes across in your soft tonneau cover into this, and it's going to hold it in place and provide the tension so that you can then unroll it out all the way to the tailgate on your truck.This is going to have the spring to provide that tension, so we can get that dialed in where we need it to be. Just mounts into the rail system. Should be pretty simple to uninstall the old one and reinstall this new one.

It's going to be exactly like your original, there's no assembly required. This comes just how you see it here, so we don't have to worry about trying to figure out which end goes where.Now just for reference to let you know how long this whole assembly is, going from the very end of the bolt to the very end of the bracket, it's about six and a half inches long. And then going from the end of one bracket to the end of the other is about six inches. This first one is about an inch wide, our second one is about three inches. They're both about an inch and a quarter wide.

And the taller bracket, or the longer bracket, is about an inch and a half tall. And this little guy is just about an inch and three eighths.This does come with just a single latch.
