  • 2011 FJ Cruiser Transmission Cooler Recommendation
The length of hose that comes with the Derale transmission coolers like part # D12902 is 10 feet. That is usually adequate for most vehicles, but on a larger SUV like your 2011 Toyota FJ Cruiser a long hose like part # D13017 could be needed. In most cases the line needed can be pretty short since typically the fittings and lines that get removed and used are all right near the radiator. Typically you don't need a long section of hose unless you are going from the transmission all the...

  • Derale Class V Transmission Cooler for 2011 Silverado 5.3L
The Derale high-efficiency Class V stacked plate transmission cooler # D52506 can replace your current cooler as long as you have the space for mounting it (it measures 13W x 9-3/16 x 2). This cooler will work well as a replacement for the KNP and will provide better cooling. You can install it with the 6AN fittings facing in any direction. The kit includes just the core and the aluminum 6AN fittings. If you need to connect to hose barb oil lines you can use 6 AN Female Swivel Fitting...

  • Recommended Remote Mounted Transmission Cooler for 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser with Supercharged Engine
Rather than a passive cooler like the # D13225, in order to get effective supplemental cooling for your transmission you'll really need a remote mount cooler with a fan. The # D13225 cooler you'd looked at would get very little air flow if mounted on your frame rail, and given the fact that you've obviously made some pretty serious upgrades to your engine you'll want something that's more effective as a passive cooler would be nearly useless. I'd recommend the Derale # D13950 which can...

  • Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 2015 Toyota 4Runner
Transmission coolers don't have specific fits, but if you have room for the # D52506 in front of your radiator/AC condenser then it would work well. It measures 13" Wide x 9-3/16" tall x 2" deep. This is one of the most efficient coolers on the market that would work great on your vehicle. To install this cooler you will need a few other components. Part # D50020 for a bracket kit, part # D98200 for a fittings (you'll need two of these), hose clamps part # D13008, and rubber hose part # D13017.

  • Will a Stacked Plate Transmission Cooler Fit a 2006 Chevy Avalanche
You can install transmission cooler # D52506 on your 2006 Chevy Avalanche because coolers are not vehicle specific. If you have the available space under the hood you can install it. The cooler is 13" wide x 9-3/16" tall x 2" deep. It does not come with hose, clamps, or provisions to mount it. To mount it you can use kit # D50020. For clamps use # D13008. And for hose use # D13017. And to avoid cutting and flaring factory lines you can use fitting # D13035.

  • Can Two 40 Row Derale Transmission Coolers be Used in Place of a Factory Cooler
Yes! You can use 2 of the Derale 40-row coolers # D54008 to cool the transmission fluid on your prostreet car. The stacked plate design is the most efficient at cooling. To optimize cooling make sure the coolers are mounted where they can get the most air flow (right behind the grille). I also recommend a couple of mount kit # D50020 and some hose. For a 25 foot length with an inner diameter of 11/32" use # D13007. For 25 feet of a 3/8" diameter use # D13017. We also have a 4-pack of stainless...

  • Parts Needed To Install a Derale High-Performance, Stacked-Plate Cooler on a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe
I do have an option for you but the part that you referenced, the Bracket Kit for Derale High Performance Stacked-Plate Coolers part # D50020 is just a bracket kit for a stacked-plate cooler like the Derale 25-Row, High-Performance, Stacked-Plate Cooler part # D52506. In order to use the above stacked-plate cooler you will need a few items which I have attached for you below but they will vary based on what size transmission lines your 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe uses. The most common is 3/8"...

  • Transmission Cooler Recommendation for 2012 Ram 3500, 6.7 Cummins with 6 spd Automatic
The best way to install a supplemental transmission cooler in line with a factory transmission cooler is to put the supplemental cooler after the factory cooler. To do that you will need to determine which of the lines from the factory cooler is the outlet. To do that you will want to start your truck when its cold, put it in drive for about 10 seconds with the brake on, put it back in park and shut the truck off. Next you will want to grab both transmission lines feeding into the cooler....

  • Remote Transmission Cooler and Mounting Accessories for a 2004 Chevy Suburban 5.3 Liter
Using the GM-specific snap-in radiator adapter fitting # D13035 will make installing a transmission cooler such as # D12733 easier because with it you would not have to cut and flare any lines for installation. The core on this cooler has 6 AN fittings. This cooler does not come with a thermostat but one can be added using # D13021. You will also need a mounting kit such as # D13002, hose clamps such as # D13008, and hose # D13017. The other option is a remote cooler that comes with these...

  • Can I Bypass the Factory Transmisson Cooler on a 2007 Nissan Frontier
We do not recommend bypassing the factory cooler with a supplemental transmission cooler, but if you are going to do so, I strongly suggest using the largest and most effective cooler that will fit in your engine compartment. Keep in mind, these transmission coolers are designed to be supplemental coolers to the vehicle's cooling system, not independent coolers. As far as coolers go, the most effective design is a stacked-plate cooler like the Derale High-Performance Transmission Cooler,...

The Derale 24" Frame Rail Fluid Cooler with -6 AN Inlets # D13225 is a great option. It does not require lines to the front of your truck to cool your transmission. There is not a longer option available, but you can run the Derale 17" Frame Rail Fluid Cooler with - 6 AN Inlets # D13221 as well if increased cooling is desired and you need to be under 45 inches. • Protecting Vehicle Paint from Scratches When Using Magnetic Towing Light Kit # TL21RK
One solution would be to wrap the wires that contact the vehicle in electrical tape. Electrical tape is soft and will not scratch or scuff the vehicle paint. It will also help to protect the wires for the elements. The downside is that a lot of people do not like the look of the electrical tape. Another option could be to use a wire loom like # 459075 (which is 100 feet worth). The benefit is that it looks better than the tape. The downside is that it is plastic and some edges may be rough,...
