Today we're gonna be taking a look at Air Lift's Union T-piece for quarter-inch air lines. And there are two main reasons you may want this unit when installing airbags. You can use it when installing a compressor to tee off and give yourself a manual inflation valve or like we're using it here on this truck to take the left and right side airbags and bring them into one so we can fILL them up simultaneously. We've got ours installed here so our inflation valve is coming out the center of the tee and the two coming off the sides go to both our left and our right side airbags. You may prefer this setup if you just want to quickly air up your airbags simultaneously. Now, you are going to lose the ability to air the up independently from side to side. That's gonna be important if you're trying to adjust for uneven loads.
You may want them to be different on one or the other. But if you're not really using it for uneven load purposes, this is going to make airing them up and deflating them much quicker if you're constantly hooking up and removing the same trailer over and over that doesn't need left and right load leveling. On our Air Lift compressor systems, it already comes with one T-fitting to allow it to air out both bags simultaneously, but if you want to add a manual inflation valve to it, you'll need a second T-fitting here. This can be installed anywhere between your air compressor and airbags in line on any of these quarter-inch airline hoses that's gonna be run. You just simply place it in between and have the center one go out to your manual inflation valve. Now, we'll show you how you connect and disconnect airlines form this fitting. It's a click-connect fitting, so you simply just push them in.
But to release them, the end here actually slides inward, and I'm using a eight millimeter wrench to do this. You just need something that'll push in on both sides. So, it pushes that in evenly and that'll allow it to release, and the hose just simply slides out. To put it in, you simply just push it in. And I like to kind of push it in and pull out a few times to make sure it's fully seated.
And as you can see here, if I'm not pressing in on that collar there at the end, I cannot pull this out. It automatically locks itself in place. And that completes our look at Air Lift's Union T-piece for quarter-inch airlines.
Sent wrong air suspension kit. 88230 is for 2004 Dodge RAM 1500 4WD. I need kit 88257 for 2004 Dodge RAM 1500 2WD. They have completely different rear axles and mounting hardware. I'm gonna miss my move day unless I hire a transporter for $500+. Not mention 5 hours of blood sweat and tears gone forever that could've been spent fishing!
Well,
There's really not much to say about a "T" in an airline. It can be used as an entrance point for an existing airline or, it can be used as a junction for two airlines to one. I used it for the latter. I recently installed an Airlifter 5000 series air bag kit and I determined there was no need to TWO air Schrader valves for the filling of each side. I ordered the T and combined the two lines into one, then only have one air fill Schrader near my rear license plate. It fills both bags at one time. I'd recommend it.

Install went as expected. Having a good (proper size) torque wrench is important, alone with a hydraulic jack to lift the body of the truck. Would highly recommend.
Installed Firestone Ride rite air bags and used the Air Lift union T to go go down to one line. For the first time in my life I installed something that didn’t leak anywhere! Peoria great and highly recommend it.

Now that's something to celebrate about! I think you deserve it!
These Airlift products are terrific and the Airlift 5000 air springs that are now on the rear of my 2024 Tundra really helped level out the truck when burdened by a travel trailer. The softly sprung truck snagged a little despite a properly adjusted weight distributing hitch and being well within load limits. The air springs needed only 30 psi of air pressure to eliminate truck's sagging rear end. The truck's ride is a little firmer, but is quite acceptable.
I also had the the air springs installed by a company suggested by etrailer.com and they were very good, with reasonable prices and excellent service. (4X Off Road in Vista, Calif.)
Worked great to allow me to use a single air fitting for both Air Lift 5000 helper springs!
you sent me (2) 5/8-11 lock-nuts. The install requires (2) 5/8-18. I had to run to the hardware store to get the correct ones.
When I placed the order your website said I need to buy the spacers for a truck with a Z71 package. So I bought and install the spacers. That caused the truck to bottom out when hitting the smallest of bumps because there was no travel. I removed those and the ride is awesome. I decided not to use the tee union. I may install it later. I like the thought of having more control over each individual side. if it had a check valve to keep the air from passing back and forth between the bags it would have been installed.
I will be returning the spacers.
I never received my T-fitting that I paid for with my airlift 5000. The airlift works great.
Order arrived very quickly and was being installed 2 days after hitting the order button. Contrary to what I was fully prepared for, this kit did NOT require any drilling on my 2007 F250. I did cut my U-bolts shorter and did have to cut off a rivet for the bracket (it gets replaced by a bolt). Install was smooth as butter and the kit is clearly high quality. Thanks etrailer!
This part is needed if you gang the two airlift bags together. the quality is great and never have I had a leak with it.

Gang gang, Scott!
Worked perfectly with the Airlift 5000 kit. Only wish it was part of the kit and not a separate purchase...otherwise a great value.
Purchased the Air Lift Union Tee to replace a plastic tee that came with the airbag kit. the metal tee is superior in all aspect's quality and craftsmanship.
I don't worry about the part breaking because of heat or road debris.
Satisfied customer.
This tee made it easier to use for one valve stem at the back bumper to air up the air bags evenly with the same air pressure., plus I think it looks better then two valve stem on the bumper. I would recommend this to others.
Exactly what I ordered and fast shipping….enough said
I installed this system on a buddy’s truck about a year ago for towing his travel trailer and he loved it. So when I got my 2023 F150 I knew that I would eventually want a set. That time came as soon as I put my 1500lb golf cart in the back!
System was super easy to install. However I suggest removing the rear wheels. Made the job so much easier. I went with a T for the air lines so that I could utilize easy, balance bag fill and empty. There’s already a hole in the license pocket of the rear bumper in a great location so all I had to do is drill through the plastic cover. Pictures are with 70 psi in the bags.
The air lift union tee is working good now for 4 days since being installed on my 2012 Honda Odyssey! No complaints here!

The Airlift system is still working great! I keep 10 pounds of air on it even when not pulling my trailer because ok the stability it provides. ??
I have been installing accessories for customers since 1985. Your kit is well thought out, easy to install and well made. Certainly a great improvement to the light duty F-150.rear suspension.
Instructions are clear and easy to follow.Quality of product is great . Delivery was on time. Amy with e trailer was great keeping me informed of shipment
Perfect for single fill applications of both air bags.
I ordered a kit of suspension airbags for my F150 and had a service that I use a lot install the kit. Only took about an hour to install. It does ride smother than the original. Going over rough terrain is a lot smoother. Just check air pressure occasionally.
My order arrived and was missing parts but I was able call an actually speak to a person. Thanks Lauren for fixing my order and sending out the missing parts right away. Appreciate the customer service!
The exact part we needed when installing our airbags in the rear of the truck.
I was happy this showed up as an option as I was finalizing my order. Once I saw it I knew It was exactly what I would have been looking for later...in order to only have a single line for the bags. (I am not interested in needing to have different pressures in the bags).
Easy to install, directions were spot on. Just installed them so can't give the product a fair review. I installed ot with a t so both airbags have the same air pressure, I'm not dealing with uneven loads so I thought this would be the better way of doing it for me. I had some extra wire harness tubing left over so I user it for my air line to give it some extra protection
Nice, high quality DOT style piece. similar to my Freightliner.
