This HitchMount LED pod adds a bright reverse light that helps you see what is behind you when backing into campsites, driveways, or tight spots. The flood beam spreads light wide so you are not stuck guessing in the dark.
In addition to the reverse light, this kit adds a red running light and an optional 4th brake light. The C1R version also includes a high-output brake light with an optional SafetyStrobe feature to help grab attention when you hit the brakes.

Hi everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Diode Dynamics hitch mount LED pod. It's gonna work with a four pole or four pin connection. It does have reverse option, and it fits two and two and a half inch hitches. So folks, with this you can back up with more confidence whether you have a two inch hitch or a two and a half inch hitch. This will come together if you need to go to the bigger size, you can push it all the way in and then it fits in this bezel.
And that gives you the option of having both options. Again, two inch or two and a half inch. You do get the included cable ties and wire splicer and of course, the connector to go into your four pole wiring along with the back of the light itself. So it's using Deutsch connections, very strong, very waterproof. And when it's installed, again you have the option of reverse light.
It'll light up white, and then you have the red for a third brake light option. So on the top left hand corner, you can see it on, I believe a Jeep. And it's down there in the hitch. And then on the top right you can see it lit up red. And then on the bottom left and the bottom right, you have the two inch and the two and a half inch option I believe, as far as what those photos are showing.
And again, with the adapter that's included, it's gonna work great. It's gonna handle weather and road spray really, really nice. Diode Dynamics has been around for ages. They are made right off the road from us here in Missouri. And they're very, very strong.
Very, very heavy duty. They're a seal construction. You're not gonna have to worry about fog or moisture or anything getting inside of here. Rust, rain, dirt, grime, snow, mud, rocks. None of it is gonna harm this in any way. And this installs a minute. You just literally push it into your hitch. And the two round guys here on the outside along with this top tab are going to lock in place, giving you a nice strong hold. And again, if you need to go from the two inch up to the two and a half, they just simply push into each other and then you'll hear 'em kind of click in place. And this will be all the way up here. Flush with the front and you'll have that option as well. And then whenever you wanna take it out, you can just simply pull up the tabs once you get it outta the housing and pull it back apart.
